Cute cafe with a nice courtyard and various seating options inside. Prices of the drinks are a bit higher than most, made us reconsider at first but we were also happy to give it a try. The space itself is calming and the artwork helps. People inside were mostly focused and working, adding to a quiet atmosphere. The chocolate milk was definitely a step up from most Milo based drinks I’ve had. Full chocolate flavor and a bit thicker.

Decent place to hang out. Coffee can be good due to the care and attention but at this pricepoint, table service not counter service. Was charming that the staff wanted to help me with my luggage. This is great. Venue left money on the table since I didn’t see what else is on offer except for the coffee. Would I come back? Probably not. Without being that extra mile, they’re just a locals joint.

Can you believe that you still have to pay 30k for the seat even when you order a drink? I have been so many cafés in Hanoi and never met this illogical situation. I had to waste the 75k Latte by pouring it from regular cup to take-away cup, so that my husband didnt have to stand outside in the middle of the summer day just to wait for me to finish our paid drink. How ridiculous it could be? Terrible service ever. Much higher price while average quality compared to neighbor ones. This Capella completely destroyed my daily morning kick-starter today.

If you are lucky and get the lake view seats, it’s worth it to come here. Otherwise, a very soulless cafe with very uncomfortable chairs and and overpriced drinks. There are so many more charming cafes in Hanoi with much tastier drinks. Would never come back

This coffee shop is the real deal. If you appreciate a good speciality coffee shop, This is the place to go. Incredible!! Hands down the best in Hanoi. They know what they’re doing. The baristas are trained and only make quality cups. It also has a stunning view of the lake. The staff are friendly. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere !! Thank you Capella.

Beautiful space. Friendly efficient staff. Most important excellent coffee. On the expensive side for Vietnam, but you do get what you pay for. Recommended

Cappuccino - super lovely, strong initial taste, smooth and light when it touches your throat. I had the Ethiopian beans and I recommend it, the house blend should be milder if you do not like the strong taste. Chocolate cookie - very nice, not too dry, crumbles easily, good portion. Recommend. Iced latte - quite light on the taste (personal opinion) for the house blend so if you want stronger taste, order the Ethopian beans instead or the hot latte.

There are so many cafes in Hanoi but this one I have to say is not only visually pleasing but also serves good drinks and bakes. We ordered their lemon slice cake, really moist with tangy flavour, matched really well with coffee. I know many people like cafes where they can take pictures for Instagram. If that's your thing - Capella has a great Tay Ho view and you can see the sunset from there very clearly. But come for the view and stay for the drinks and cakes, so good! + Staff is friendly

This place looks really nice but that's about it. We couldn't drink the coffee. We messaged to ask if they had oat milk before our first visit, we were delighted when they said yes, then when we arrived they didn't have any. We tried a second time, this time they had oat milk but had to leave after one taste. The coffee was sickly sweet and the beans tasted burnt. It tasted awful. So disappointing 😞

Coffee is good, a little more expensive than normal. Lovely space to sit/work and chatty efficient staff. Great courtyard to sit in with plenty of shade and bike parking on-site. Only negative really was the music, bit too loud, detracted from the chilled vibe.

Beautiful café. Excellent staff and dog friendly patio area. The coffee was a bit pricey, but done really well and unique flavors for both the house blend and Ethiopian. Will be coming back

Very disappointed by the crepe… you can look at it by yourself, it was totally dry, the “Nutella” was dry as well and not much at all (I just had one bite and open the crepe and it was like this), a total deception… when told to the waitress they said… it because there is no banana… no way! I’ve eaten thousand of crepe in my life… none of them was like that…please review your crepe recipe! The drink was ok tho! Ps: obviously I don’t suggest you to order the crepe…

Lovely little dog-friendly cafe on Dang Thang Mai - great coffee and a chilled atmosphere for relaxing and (if you need to) get work done. Recommend

A great selection of speciality coffee. I had a chemex. It’s also a very aesthetic space to work from with lots of light and art on the walls

I heard a lot of good reviews about this place. So, we decided to give it a try. The brownie was good, cappuccino was average and the Oats milk Latte was really bad. Its consistency was so water-like and the taste was not good either.

This cafe is amazing.. asthetically very pleasing, both indoor and outdoor seating is very peaceful and relaxing. The coffee selection is great, and always tastes delicious. The pour over is always great. It is a bit expensive, but for me it's definitely worth it, since I love having a coffee here.

By far the best coffee in Hanoi!! With a beautiful garden out front, it’s the perfect place to relax, read and enjoy a coffee. Also, they have a quiet work space upstairs.

One of the very best coffee shop in Hanoi. Stay in To Ngoc Van street with a great view and peaceful atmosphere. Their coffee beans and quality are amazing. Plenty of choices for you if you wanna try different kind of good coffee beans around the world. Must try.

Good selection of coffees, great service. Lovely space with comfortable rooms and natural lighting. It has a lovely view out on the lake and also has strong WiFi for the remote workers. Parking is possible for a few cars but a motorbike is better. (Lock your bikes up though)

Really my favourite coffee shop in hanoi. I have been coming here for over 3 years. Both the locations here and on dang Thai Mai have a lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Good place to work alone or meet friends in peaceful environment.

I absolutely loved our visit to Capella! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, and the coffee was an absolute delight. The rich, flavorful blend was a true testament to your dedication to quality. The staff's knowledge and passion for coffee were evident in every cup they served. The drink and food menu was an unexpected highlight – it's not often you find such a perfect pairing of exceptional coffee and delectable plant-based options. We can't wait to return and explore more of what Capella has to offer. Keep up the fantastic work! ☕️🌱

👍👍 It's such a great and wonderful Pizza 🍕 😋 I ever have. I can't explain how wonderful it is. Also Spaghetti 🍝 😋 was so good. They cooked 80% for the spaghetti. For half chicken teriyaki and half 4 cheeses, is such a very good smell from the charcoal stove. It's very harmonized tasted in one full...

👍👍 Probably one of our most memorable meals was at this amazing restaurant in Hanoi. The service was excellent and so was the food. We loved the flavours and the cocktails were on point. The minimalist decor was really nice and spacious. We ended up ordering a lot of food and drinks as we were famished...
