Great atmosphere and music. Be aware it is a smoking indoors establishment. Would have given it a 5 stars otherwise. And this is the only reason why I would not come back. For club owner reading this review. Please consider a smoke free environment so the majority of the people who you cater to will have a good reason to come back for more jazz we love.

This is such a great find! If you are in Hanoi and like Jazz, or if you just want a different type of night to chill over good music, you should check out Binh Minh Jazz Club, which is just next to the Hanoi Opera House. No cover charge for live jazz band performances from 9pm to 11:15pm daily. Drinks are a bit pricey, but it's a small price to pay for good jazz and a relaxing evening. Highly recommended!

We went on a weekday evening. The music was great. Two incredible vocalists and a top notch band. No cover charge and while the drinks were more expensive than a regular bar they were inexpensive considering this is a high end jazz club. After the first drink there was no pressure to purchase more but ifnthe place is full it is polite to buy drinks as long as you are taking up a table. We stayed for the first two sets and wish we could have stayed later in tonthe evening. Place was pretty full fornthe first set and then the crowd thinned considerably through the second set.

Best jazz bar in town! Band usually start 9pm daily and seats get filled up by 930pm. Go early for better spots.

Great music and super great musicians! you will definitely enjoy a good Jazz music. Their performance starts at 21:00, reach earlier to get a good seat with a view as the place gets booked up quickly. It is a gem in Hanoi, small and cozy place with a great atmosphere, worth a visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of jazz with my friend who took me here earlier last week. We got there a little early, which was good because it filled up quickly. It's a smaller venue, so no seat is a bad seat. Their drink menu had a good selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic options. Most importantly, the musicians were great, and they even took a request from my friend. It's a great spot if you're visiting or live locally.

I went around 8:30PM on a Friday and the live jazz music started at 9PM. The place filled up quickly with a mix of foreigners and locals. The prices were high however it’s very fair considering the musicians need to be paid and there’s no standard entry fee. We stayed for the whole hour-ish long performance and it was wonderful, featuring a woman singer as well who had a beautiful, velvety voice. Wonderful location if you like music and want a family/friends outing in the evening to escape the bustle of Hanoi.

Fantastic live music. We were here on a Wednesday night, and all the musicians were outstanding. Intimate jazz bar where you can hear most of the instruments acoustically, which is a rare treat.

A must visit place when you come to Hanoi. It only opens after 9pm and has a different Jazz band playing everyday. We went here on a Sunday, the vibe is just amazing.

Cute little place that plays Jazz from 9pm onwards. This was my first Jazz performance experience, I enjoyed it. Drinks are slightly on higher side, but I think that's ok since there's no cover charge. Did not try food, but pizza on the table next to me looked good. Only thing dampening my experience was large group of people constantly talking or loudly laughing. I get it, it's not a concert, but having a bit of decorum would have enriched my experience.

A nice causal place to see some good, live music. I think we went on a fairly quiet night, but the singers and musicians were wonderful.

Nice spot that has live jazz performances at 9pm. No cover charge but the drinks do get pricey at night. There's a lot of foreigners here. Overall it's a chill spot.

Some great bands come through here, so keep an eye on the calendar. The house band is hit and miss (I'm not a huge fan of the standard songs, much more into the purely instrumental tunes). Some of the items on the menu go up four-fold after "happy hour" but there's no cover for the band, so I guess that's fair. The menus themselves are a treat.

The live Jazz music show time will start at 9pm. Y should come 10 minutes ealier to have good seats. At the music time, a bottle of beer will be 5 usd, a margarita glass costs you about 10 bucks. At the weekend, a good saxophone player will perform. The place is not big but in the heart of Hanoi, right behind the opera house. It is a good place for relax.

Visited on a Friday. Great place for live music in Hanoi. We booked a table through our Hotel, and when we arrived our table was ready. Well ventilated; even though indoor smoking is allowed, it didn't feel stuffy. Music was lovely and the musicians were talented. Good service with attentive waitresses who can speak decent English. Drinks are reasonably priced. Long Island was really good, Mojito was so so. Vietnamese style small peanuts were delicious and Saigon beer was cold. Illuminated menu was interesting and easy to read. A must visit if you are in Hanoi!

Amazing place. Awesome live jazz music everynight. Talented musicians with great improv skills. The drinks are expensive, but it's free entrance and the live music makes up for it. They also have coffee and daytime drinks at a reasonable price. I still reccomend opening up the menu - it'll light up your face.

Go for the music! They have live jazz everyday from 9-11pm. Seats fill up pretty quickly (by ~915pm on a random Tuesday night) so try to get there on time. Food/drinks nothing to shout about.

I am not a huge jazz fan but I love this club, I will come back as often as I can, The musicians are amazing, the scotch and whiskey is top shelf and the atmosphere is exactly what I want from a Jazz Club. I even bought a apron so that I could have something with their logo on it. A must do on my list of Hanoi events.

Great hidden gem with a lovely jazz show every night. Super cozy atmosphere and a friendly vibe. However, with me and my travel buddy being on a backpackers budget, we felt that the prices were a bit to much for us, but they are almost 1/3 of the price if you come during happy hour. Overall, would recommend for everyone to check out their jazz show!

If you like music then it is the best place to enjoy Jazz music Hanoi. Great music, super musician and you can enjoy a good Jazz music. It is better to book in advance. Music starts at 9 PM and they play till 11 PM.Reach before 9 PM to get a good seat with a view. Order some drinks, alcholic or non alcholic and enjoy Jazz music.

Atmosphere was great. Drinks are a bit expensive for the quality. White wine was bad for 199,000. Service was good. But we have to pay right after the order.

5 stars to the atmosphere! Never ever disappoints. The food is ok- the fruit platter is great, if you order a pizza they will ask grab to deliver it. The drinks are ok. Most importantly the music is amazing the bad is always tight!! Soooo much better than Blake house of jazz.

We arrived a bit after 9 and the place was already at maxed capacity. Mixed crowd of locals and tourists. The band was fantastic. Great cozy atmosphere, perfect for the jazzy vibe.

Awesome band, especially the vocalists. Jazz favorites lovingly performed by young talents. One suggestion for owner/management: prohibit smoking and bring 21st-century health standards to this otherwise classy venue. Our group would have enjoyed the music a lot more if we didn't have to inhale smoke.

Coming here is a must experience. Feel the classic vibe and socialise with locals and foreign travellers around the world. However, not recommended for people who doesn't like the smell of the 🚬.

One of the best nights we had in Hanoi. The music was amazing. Drinks were good. Vibe of the place was really good too. Only wish they had more than just finger foods to eat but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Definitely visit.

This is a popular place for the locals and specially tourists womming with vespa tours to close the night. The place is small so suggested to go a bit earlier so you can get a seat. The atmosphere and performances are phenominal and is a must stop place to grab some wine and enjoy some jazz music.

We knew we had to visit after reading all the reviews and what an experience it was! We only arrived near the end of the 1st set (~945pm) and managed to catch the owner performing a saxophone rendition of a Vietnamese folk song. Really passionate musicians who infect the crowd. 2nd set starts around 1015pm. Live performances every day

Such a great evening and loved how the music was English so I knew the songs! It’s such a vibe there and 100% worth the visit. The musicians were ALL amazing!

What a wonderful evening spent with such passionate and talented jazz musicians! Drinks are definitely more pricey when the set begins daily at 9pm but well worth the money. Staff are friendly and attentive too. Unfortunately, the place does smell entirely of cigarette smoke if you’re more sensitive to that.

Great evening! Music starts at 9 and is on every night. The owner gets a mixture of seasoned musicians and locals / local students to play so you get a real mix of talent.

Great jazz performances at night. Didn't try many drinks here, but the Mojito was good and the Fruit Punch was decent enough (250k VND)

Fantastic music bar. A lovely place for you to enjoy a relaxing weekend with beer and music. Food also available though I never try yet. Chairs could be a little too small for those super size guys.
