I
have
always
wanted
to
visit
a
jazz
bar
in
Hanoi
but
they
were
either
far
or
a
squeeze.
Then
I
heard
of
Cool
Cats
at
JW
Marriott.
At
first,
I
was
wary
about
the
cost,
but
it
was
not!
On
to
my
review!
Ambience:
Dark
but
with
just
the
right
amount
of
light.
When
you
first
enter,
you
will
be
greeted
by
the
wait-staff
in
retro
styled
clothing,
bringing
you
back
slightly
in
time.
The
stage
where
the
musicians
play
was
well
lit
in
warm
yellow
lighting
which
does
not
affected
the
overall
ambience
but
rather,
compliments
it.
The
sound
level
was
a
little
loud
to
the
level
of
you
needing
to
speak
into
the
ear
of
the
person,
but
you
are
at
a
jazz
bar,
why
are
you
chatting?
Service:
I
ordered
a
table
side
service
where
I
was
allowed
to
select
from
a
range
of
spirits
to
add
into
my
drink.
I
was
guided
patiently
through
the
different
varieties
of
one
type
and
which
goes
well
with
which.
After
my
mix
was
selected,
I
was
treated
visually
to
the
formation
of
the
circular
ice.
The
compression
mechanism
where
it
absorbs
the
cold
from
the
cubed
ice
and
disperses
it
while
slowly
forcing
water
out
until
the
two
sections
meet.
Fancy
Food:
I
did
not
order
any
food
but
was
given
some
snacks...
I
kept
eating
the
chips
for
some
reason.
Drinks:
You
read
the
creation
if
their
house
special.
Next,
whenever
I
see
absinthe,
I
must
order.
This
time,
I
was
treated
to
the
absinthe
tower
where
I
had
the
luxury
of
dripping
cold
water
through
my
sugar
to
suit
my
taste,
anytime.
Overall:
Great
experience,
relaxing
environment.
Will
I
return?
