The
hotel
itself
is
very
good.
Despite
it
lacking
a
modern
makeover,
the
hotel
has
been
well
maintained
and
upgraded
in
areas
(in
part)
to
keep
it
looking
and
feeling
grand.
The
staff
are
very
polite
and
eager
to
help
out
where
they
can.
The
breakfast
was
average
-
for
the
price,
which
was
relatively
expensive
for
Thailand,
you
get
a
buffet
breakfast,
with
only
a
few
live
cooking
stations.
Perhaps
we
were
unlucky,
but
there
were
swarms
of
Korean
/
Chinese
tourists
who
are
allowed
to
fill
up
a
breakfast
box
(takeaway
box)
and
if
you
timed
your
breakfast
wrong
you
missed
out
on
all
good
the
options.
Location
wise
you
are
a
ten
min
cab
away
from
Hanoi
Old
Quarter.
For
those
wanting
a
bit
of
luxury
and
quiet,
where
you
do
not
need
to
hear
the
constant
beeping
of
motorbikes
and
cars
-
it
is
an
ok
location.
Some
lovely
little
food
outlets
and
spas
nearby
that
are
well
worth
visiting.
The
hotel
could
have
managed
the
constant
weddings
better.
Perhaps
(again)
we
were
unlucky,
but
out
of
the
4
nights
we
stayed
there
were
3
weddings
being
held.
It
was
loud
until
around
10/11pm
at
night
and
they
would
either
be
constructing
the
new
wedding
set
or
taking
the
old
one
down
from
8am
in
the
morning.
The
F&B
inside
the
hotel
is
bang
average
-
for
a
luxury
hotel
they
need
more
options
available.
Laundry
is
very
expensive,
I
would
recommend
Paris
Laundry
in
Hanoi
old
quarter
for
this.
Overall,
would
likely
stay
again
(due
to
Marriot
Bonvoy
points)
but
I
would
not
pay
full
price
to
stay
here.
