Super cheap and some cool planes and choopers to see. It cost 30,000 vnd to enter. Less than a $1.50. They are closed at lunch for an hour. Most info is in english and vietnamese. Lots of russian planes and anti aircraft things. Also lots of usa planes that were shoot down. Worth spending an hour at if in Hanoi.

Fantastic museum with lots of artifacts and full of history. If u have a lot of time, I highly recommend you read all the information in the museum and appreciate the history. As for the outside section, there are lots of planes and helicopters at the back of the museum.

This is a large museum and grounds with an impressive display of aircraft...MIG 17, 19, 21. Many armored vehicles, mobile radars, and air defense systems. Several helicopters as well, including the biggest one I've ever seen. Inside the building, there are exhibits, and pictures chronicling the history of the Vietnamese Air Force. Open 7 days 8-11am and 1-4pm

Very impressive collection of aircraft. The indoor collection isn't much but collective. My son was having a great time to see military helicopter in real life. Highly recommended.

The place is temporarily closed since 22th of October said the sign on the entrance gate (unfortunately forgot to take a picture). It is unknown when it will open again… Thanks for making us come all the way out there without any website or indication here on Google maps that it is closed. Two stars though, since we were able to see almost all the vehicles standing outside through the surrounding fence

This museum is a bit out the way of the centre of Hanoi but is definitely worth the visit if you are enthusiastic about military aviation I’d recommend getting a grab here. The exterior has basic soviet Cold War jets on display along with other military equipment. The inside also has information about the history of vietnams airforce and it’s conflicts. Would recommend this to any military aviation enthusiast.

My dad and I went here last minute but we enjoyed going around the place. We wanted to spend more time but the museum was closing already. The indoor museum had a lot of interesting info but they were all in Vietnamese. Hopefully, they do an English translation as well or provide audio guides for different languages. The collection of artifacts were amazing. They were well preserved and looked incredible up close.

Small museum that can be visited in an hour or hour and a half, depends on how fast you read the descriptions. The air defense armament, both active (missiles) and passive (radars) and aircrafts, are so stunningly big that you might want to take a picture or two. The descriptions inside the main building regard mainly North Vietnamese fighters and their feats, and is very interesting in itself. We went there because some of the bigger museums had closed on a Monday, and this one did not.

Interesting. Short visit but it is very nice to see all the planes and helicopters. 30 000 entry + parking fee if you have motorcycles

Place seemed great, but it was so hard to talk to ticket seller, who couldnt speak a single word in english and was very unhelpful. Probably the outside complex is free and inside museum cost money.

Great museum: lots to see, many different aircrafts, helicopters and other items from various times. Was not crowded on Monday. Worth the visit for only 30000 dong for 1 adult.

It is actually pretty nice exhibition for any interested in the subject. Many more pieces and planes than the War Museum in Hanoi or in Ho Chi Minh City. The exhibition in the museum is also worthy.

A museum that display a variety of weapons used during the Vietnam war. AA artillery, SAM missile, helicopter, Soviet made MIG fighters and some capture American made aircraft's. The outdoor display equipment are a bit rundown. It's a pity! Inside the building, there are 2 floors of display of items and pictures of people involved in the conflict. Entrances fees is 30000VND per person. Quite a distance from the Old Quarter. Take a Grab car from the Old Quarter will cost about 70000 VND.
