This city-center park is a charming oasis where you'll find people engaged in lively games of football and badminton. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely time in the midst of urban life.

I live here since I were in boyhood, see it develop day by day but its soul still keep the same. It is a peaceful place where old women can do Tai Chi every morning and eve, boys play street soccer and badminton. Highly recommend to visit to enjoy typical old-quarter of Hanoi culture.

All green spaces in such a polluted city as Hanoi are absolutely great, but I don’t especially care for this narrow strip wedged into multiple intersections. The best features are the tall trees around the perimeter of this community garden, but there’s not much else once you step into this place, unless you’re fascinated by spurting fountains and military monuments. There’s sparse seating options, too many men sitting on small plastic stools, and dogs pooping on - thankfully cordoned off - green areas, without their owners cleaning up the subsequent mess. Also kids playing football in such a tiny space. Definitely a reason for some caged artificial pitches. There are also parts of the walking paths which have been fabricated out of cobblestone. Definitely not a good idea. Visit for sure, but two minutes should do it for an accurate feel of this garden.

It is a park that is on walkable distance to the lake in the city. It is a beautiful place to spent the night. During the day there is not much activity here however in the night there would be karaoke performances and dances that happen here. Good place to bring kids out to place there will be a lot of kids running around and parents sit beside eating some snackingd and catching up with their friends . There would also be vendors selling snacks and all there

Nice and relaxing. Cool opportunity to see Vietnamese culture. Also, get a haircut. Dont pay more than 60,000 dong. Ask for Hai. Negotiate price upfront.

Beautiful little gem just steps from our accomodations. Good place to just catch a breather, people watch some Tai chi or have a bag lunch. Clean and inviting atmosphere.

It's a great spot to sit around and watch a variety of actions happening in the same small space. These can be sometimes surprising and range from people getting their hair cut, over kids playing soccer all the way to cockfighting! You can also get tea from street vendors or just sit around. There are no real benches, but you can sit on a small stone wall that goes all around the park. It's very loud as well, since there is a busy road on each side of Hang Dau Garden.
