A very quiet corner in the busy tourist attractions. The district library is located here with well managed garden.

A nice park which is located next to the St John Cathedral at the Hanoi Old Quarter. It is one of the good place in the city centre to just rest, play, or having picnic.

Really nice for a rest on a hot day

Walked past this place. Have no idea what is done here, or what work workers do here. This building and gardens said; hey punk!!! Take photos of me... so I did, and here they are.

Just took a break for rest. Garden is good and it was soothing to sit under trees and hear birds.

Nice green park by Hanoi Cathedral offers fresh and green space for people to stroll around, take in fresh air while walking, doing exercises, yoga or meditation. Within the compound lies a central library sets a nice colonial villa over shadowed with trees lines, flowers and bonsai. It is a place for youngers, students to do reading or home works, elderly people encounter and chatting. It is a good place to release tension or refresh, rest and relaxation or throw deep thoughts on life or business. Visitors pass by taking pictures, writing postcards in this nice atmosphere and send homes with local stories, legends and anecdotes.

I passed by this place when I visited Hanoi St. Joseph’s Cathedral. It looked nice.

Great escape from the frenetic old Quarter for a moment

A nice little park to rest before venturing out agian into the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Many old growth trees that provide shade, and plenty of benches.

So beautiful to look at and just soak in this garden surrounded by well maintained heritage buildings such as the nunnery and local library.

Peaceful, safe park with benches for relaxing. The grounds are well kept with trees and flowers. It’s a nice place to rest from the frenetic pace of the city streets.

The Rose Garden, which also hosts central library of Hoan Kiem district, is an oasis of tranquillity in the otherwise bustling part of old quarter of Hanoi. If you are tired of walking in the busy streets of downtown Hanoi, head to this park, sit on one of the clean benches and enjoy the view of beautifully pruned garden.
