Don't waste your time coming here. A lot of the clothes sold look 2nd hand and most of the shops aren't welcoming or even open. The 1st floor has most of the clothing stalls and the 2nd floor has the furniture. A lot of the places on the 1st floor sell liquor.

You have to go downstairs where all the motorbikes are, in the back. If you go in the main entrance with the escalators, that floor of the market is almost abandoned. The main market is through the back entrance in the basement. Inside there is a great selection of pottery, shoes, and clothes. This is a great place to buy pottery and ceramic gifts with many beautiful stalls and plenty of options! The shoes and clothes stalls were even less organized than a typical market, so it was difficult to shop for those items.

There's A LOT of items (making it hard to walk around the piles of stuff in a fun way) on offer at this market and the inside is massive. You can find a wide selection of things: food stalls, produce/meats, clothes/shoes, electronics. The only thing missing is handicrafts, which is a little disappointing as they are a culturally important sector in Vietnam. Be sure to walk on the outside perimeter as many of there are beautiful fruit stalls and other Viet goods on offer.

Most shops were closed. Looks like whole market. Didn’t like it.

It's simply for avoiding the heat. It's cool for a walk. Nothing special here. Clothing and souvenir' prices is pushed too high, and i am not the one who like bargain. It's failed as a local market.

look…i’m sure this place is great, but as a white girl, i just kept getting yelled at”no” at. turns out it’s mainly wholesale only, so if you’re a tourist, it’s not worth it imo

Mostly garment, shoes, food items, flowers, gifts.. bargain for a good deal. Lower the price by about 30-50%. Even if you don’t want to shop.. it’s a good walk at night.

Basically an over glorified furniture and liquor store. The listed hours seem to be the building's opening hours, as most of the market seemed closed when I went in the afternoon. Better just to skip it.

This place has unfortunately and probably been hit very hard by the pandemic. Everything above ground is almost empty, and the basement, whilst open with shops selling clothes, footwear, kitchenware and food, is deathly silent with stall owners looks quite bored.

It's a low rating only because it's sort of an empty husk of a former mall. Inside there is a low key market and it's super interesting to walk around in. However it's an important landmark in the western part of the old quarter.

It used to be an important and very busy market. It has lost its allure now due to the challenges of online era.

We love going to this market because around it are very busy, crowded and busy old quarters. There are many shops selling fashion clothes, shoes, food and drink, and Hanoi specialties that you are not easy to find elsewhere. There are some very good cafes. This is a famous place in Hanoi.

Not helpful most shops are closed. Many sell items from china and use and second hand items. Many better places to go.

A good walk about here. Plenty of rep stuff although I did not find the stall keepers passento or friendly. More for locals .

From the outside, it looks like a plaza. Located in the heart of Hanoi but not so crowded.

Used to be a very nice local market till they built a mordent buiding there. I'd rather walk arround for lovely vendors than get inside for quited kiosks...

Nothing interesting there. The whole area used to be an old market place in old Hanoi. Now there is a California Firness Center branch there, but it's moccasin is bad, and all the outside air pollution penetrates inside the gym. Yack.

My wife and I went to the pottery shops in the basement and we were impressed by the selection and customer service of the stall owners. The rating of four stars is for cleanliness. The market itself is pretty dirty overall.

It's good and cheap shopping for many local food items, luggage, footwear and artefacts. Try your Bargain skills here, you will be impressed with yourself!

HANG DA MARKET - Shopping mall, the name does not say anything about this place, was built on the ground of HANG DA MARKET, but currently leased as an English Center, fitness and yoga ... some liquor stalls on both sides of the hall and underground are traditional markets ... perhaps a failed transition example from traditional markets to shopping malls...

Bought a pair of slippers there at twice the price for same thing on the street. No a lot of money, just have fun there.

It's open for business. Wonderful Vietnam market shopping experience. Mostly fabrics, shoes, clothing, dry foods. Note stores around the exterior also sell a very wide variety of kitchen/cooking stuff and fresh foods. Restaurants nearby.

A lot of Chinese made cheaper young kids, and gave ment, men's fashion non existing. Very basis three level building seems more wholesale for local stores

I dont why this place is listed as a shopping place, if you enter it’s totally closed down.

  • 3/5 aric y. 1 year ago on Google
Stuffs are cheaper if you bargain hard. Rowdy as it is a wholesale market. Nuts are of reasonable price here.

We went on a Sunday maybe. All shops closed. Nothing was on 2nd level onwards. Run down place. Not tourist oriented. More like whole sale kind or market.

Traditional market in center of Hanoi. Lots of outlets already closed.

👍👍 Huge mall with everything you would need as well as a decent array of restaurants. The games area is excellent, including a bowling alley and pool tables. I didn't even see the ice skating ring despite coming here twice on my trip to Hanoi. If you want to get away from the chaotic streets of Hanoi,...
