During my 3 week stay in Hanoi, I visited this place...so many times! Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and incredibly friendly owners made me keep coming back for more. As a vegan, I really appreciated their vegan menu. Tired a lot dishes and everything was always super tasty.

A nice family run restaurant offering a variety of Banh mi, rice, soup, and coffee at reasonable prices. The food is served promptly and is super tasty. Unlike other popular restaurants, it's easy to find seating here. It's one of the best budget-friendly restaurants in the Old Quarter.

Delicious simple veggie dishes available. Ordered spring rolls, soup noodles and veggie fried rice. Tofu was cooked really well and all dishes were good. Good budget eat.

•Family-run and friendly, the lady gave us a banana each upon paying, how cute is that! •Many vegan as well as meat options, large menu •My husband had the stew bo noodles and he said they were the best he’s tasted so far (we moved to Hanoi at the start of December and have been trying pho bo at each place). He loved the depth of flavour of the broth. •I had the Pho vegan chicken, the broth didn’t the same depth of flavour my husbands dish had •Lovely fried rice •Bun chay was delicious •Salt coffee was very good •Fast becoming one of my favourite go-to places for a quick bite

Absolutely beautiful little place to find some delicious Vietnamese food. Their egg and mushroom Bãhn Mì was sublime (the baguette was perfect). Equally delicious was their chicken pho and beef spring rolls. Service was fabulous and our waitress spoke very clear English. They also offer a decent selection of vegan options and are more than happy to help where allergies are concerned.

What a blessing having dinner here. The menu is rich of delicious Vietnamese food, and despite the place may look simple and informal, the owners still take great care of their guests and make sure they are having their best time. The young girls could also speak really good English. We had plenty of food for an insanely cheap price (compared to European standards). Everything was superb! I would come back again and again to try more options from the menu. So far, the Pho noodles with stewed beef and the fried spring rolls were top notch. Only drawback is that the seating options are quite limited (only a handful of small tables that can take up to 3/4 guests, but mostly 2 guests per table), so I wouldn't recommend this place for larger crowds. I think there's also a few outdoor seating options but very limited. When I visited, there were a bunch of tourists, which also made me feel safe with the quality of the ingredients and cleanliness.

Located in the center area of Hoan Kiem, very strategic. They provide vegan and meat options from noodle, rice, rolls, banh mi, and so on. Ordered beef fried rice, veggy rolls and fried tofu with tomatos, all were OK. I just like the vegan options here, its really nice to have healthy food in our trip.

The best vegan fried spring roll I had while visiting Hanoi! I was blown away by how fresh the raddish and carrot fillings were! The wrapping is also very crispy without it being too oily. The lady staff was also very kind to me and spoke very good English! They give free banana to every customer who orders. Overall, amazing service with even more amazing food. Will definitely come back when I’m in Hanoi again.

Absolutely delightful experience, with fantastic food, top-notch coffee, and lovely, attentive service. I went back twice more. Tiny place, but with a big heart. Whoever is preparing the food knows what they’re doing, and cooks with love.

This is the best place to get your hand on some delicious Vietnamese food. Everything that we ordered has been exceptional. The Ban Mi is out of the world. Delicious bread (like no others) with Pate and Cold cuts. The bbq pork and seafood fried rice are not to be missed! They are heavenly. I wish we had more days in Hanoi for us to try everything on the menu. They have a great variety of vegan options too. Also the people are lovely and service is superb.

our favorite place for vegetarian/vegan food!! We have been here several times and loved it every time. The vegan Bahn Mi with tofu and mushrooms are so delicious. You get always free green tea and at the end bananas. The prices are fair and the service is also very good. 100% recommendation!

Such a great restaurant for vegetarian and vegan food in Hanoi. They even have a specific menu. We ate there so many times I think I tried one of everything. My favourite was Fried rice with Vegan beef, with a bottle of beer! The family running the restaurant are lovely, friendly and always helpful.

Banh Mi? Egg Coffee? Check and check! This place has a variety of Banh Mi's to choose from. I ordered the standard pork and it was really good. I also tried their egg coffee which was sweeter than others I had, which I loved! I also had a banana smoothie that was wonderful.

One of the best places in Hanoi so far to enjoy a really tasty, fresh and cheap food! Very well built menu, simple, easy to understand, and with a lot of options! The service is amazing, they speak really good English and they are always happy to help! Recommendations!! ⬇️⬇️ -Both spring rolls were superb, really fresh and tasty, and very cheap compared to the “normal prices” -the coconut milk coffee was quite surprising, really recommended! -the Banh Mi’s were sooo good! We tried the pork, egg and chicken ones! All came warm and were very tasty! ❤️ 100% recommended enjoy it!

Very good food at reasonable prices, kind waiter. Was busy when we went but we were seated straight away. Service isn’t the quickest but after the food came and an apology it was all forgiven. Fried rice, tofu, and mushrooms with an extra egg nice. Paid around 70k for my meal. Free banana at the end . Would visit again

Heaven for a veggie / vegan. It really made our visit to Hanoi a much more diverse food experience and we really appreciate that. The staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is lovely and accommodating and the delicious food is cooked fresh to order. We were even given free bananas after we had eaten every time we visited!

Huong Viet Food is a great place to enjoy delicious Vietnamese dishes at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a cozy and friendly atmosphere, and the staff are attentive and helpful. The beer was also cheap and refreshing, a perfect accompaniment to the spicy food. I highly recommend Huong Viet Food to anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine or wants to try something new and tasty.

I don't understand why this place has such good ratings. I waited over 30min for okayish food (one can get similar taste in some EU cities with Vietnamese minorities). It can hardly be compared to proper local food. The first signal that it won't be good, when we were ordered ginger tea and instead of real ginger with honey we received a teabag.

This place is busy for a reason. This evening was our second night back here as the food was so good first time round. Staff are friendly and absolutely on the ball when it comes to quality service. Tonight I was again well satisfied with the meal. Delicious food. I recommend the vegan chicken with fried rice noodles and the morning glory. They also do a great homemade lemonade . Between our two trips to Hanoi this is my favorite restaurant in the city so far. Excellent value too.

I had meals at this small but homey restaurant three times in a row during our return visit to Hanoi. I loved it. My hubby loved it. My friends enjoyed the foods here. We’ve traveled to Hanoi probably yearly but somehow we had missed trying foods at this place until this time. So glad we stopped by and truly enjoyed their tasty foods during this trip. We tried spring rolls (three times), papaya salad (twice), mixed salad, stirred fry morning glory vegy, Bun Cha (barbecued pork served with herbs and rice noodle), Banh mì (Vietnamese baguette with pate sauce). All were delicious. The spring rolls were excellent! There’s a variety of vegan options on the menu. Complimentary fruits came with every meal. This very popular restaurant is humble in space but clean and neat. Service is very good and price is very reasonable for the quality offered. It’s definitely in our top list of favorite food places to enjoy in Hanoi.

Wow wow wow! We struck gold with this place on our first night in Hanoi! Myself and my partner have been vegan for 6 years and I’ve not had a vegan version of pho this good before. We had spring rolls and vegan beef pho - both incredible and very reasonably priced! £1.50 for the pho!! We will be back for more tomorrow and the next day to try the banh mi and other options! Oh also the people running it are lovely, catered to my partners coriander hatred and the atmosphere was busy and popular!

By far the best restaurant in Hanoi and maybe even Vietnam!! I went here nearly everyday I was in Hanoi and will never stop coming back. Amazing food, service and prices. I have tried most of the vegetarian dishes on the menu and I am never disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city 🤩

I have a severe nut allergy and have been travelling through south east Asia. This restaurant has by far been the best eating experience I’ve had since I’ve been away. The wait staff spoke excellent English, were really helpful with catering for my allergies, and even gave me tips at the end for the rest of my travels. In addition to this, the food was delicious and authentic (spring rolls and a pork banh mi) and the restaurant had that classic cosy vibe you would associate with restaurants in south East Asian countries. Would absolutely recommend.

Went here on my first day in Ha Noi, and it was a great decision. The owner was nice and can speak English well, so it was easy for us to choose which food that we want to order, but the menu comes in English anyway so you don't need to worry about ordering the wrong dish. And speaking about wrong dish, it seems like there are none here. We ordered Bun Cha (rice noodle soup with grilled pork), Nem Thit (pork & veggies spring rolls), and Nem Cuon (vegan spring rolls) and we enjoyed all of it. The portion was generous and and the taste was really fresh. I would recommend anyone visiting Ha Noi to eat while experiencing the busy street of Ha Noi in this restaurant.

If youre looking for so amazing Vietnamese food, please look no further. This place has some of the most amazing food in Hanoi, including vegetarian and vegan options if you dont eat meat. Oh, not to include their service and family atmosphere.

Super nice little shop. The atmosphere is just right. We came across this cute little shop through Google because we really wanted to try the famous Banh Mi. And we were not disappointed. The iced apple juice is also highly recommended. Can absolutely recommend this store.

Stumbled upon this place and it has great service and really delicious food! The (vegan chicken) fried rice and grilled chicken with stir fried vegetables were very tasty. There are also lots of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu as well. Iced coffee with milk was great too. Highly recommended!

Delicious Vietnamese food with plenty of meat & vegetarian options. As you can see from the empty after-dinner plates, some very satisfied customers having eaten herer for dinner twice and then once for breakfast. The egg & mushroom roll with cold salted coffee is absolutely amazing and the perfect start to the day. Also, helpful, friendly & respectful staff also. I fully recommend this place.

The fresh spring rolls were so good! It was so refreshing especially because the weather was very hot and humid. Reasonable price and easy to find. Located near a lot of other stores as well. Would recommend to go try out the spring rolls!

I recently dined at a Vietnamese restaurant that exceeded my expectations. After reading stellar reviews, I decided to make the 900-meter walk to this hidden gem, and I can confidently say it was well worth it. The staff was not only friendly but also fluent in English, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this Vietnamese restaurant enough. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious Vietnamese cuisine with impeccable service, all at a reasonable cost. I'll definitely be returning for more culinary adventures.

Great little restaurant managed by a very hearty family. I really enjoyed that I had the choice of a wide range of vegan and vegetarian meals (not always easy to find in Hanoi). But also for people who like to eat meat there is a lot of variety. The prices are very fair and I loved the familiar atmosphere. We have eaten here several times during our stay in Hanoi and highly recommend to visit this place when you like to eat good food.

It was closed yesterday, but it was open today. The menu was very good for both vegan/vegetarians and meat lovers and the prices of all food are pretty much affordable. This restaurant had many options for different types of Vietnamese cuisine. I would recommend it to anyone who would visit Hanoi and stay near the old quarter to visit this restaurant...!!!

Recommended. I’ve had many of the same things before but can tell you this place is better than average. Staff can communicate well in English. Food is a bit slow but really worth it. They give you a banana after you finish as well. Place is small so make sure you pick the right time to go.

A very good place with great food, great host and reasonable prices. If you are in a group where some are vegetarian and some are non-vegetarian, then this is the perfect place as they serve vegan food as well. The host is a considerate person and she helps out with directions and i have also seen her offer raincoat to people in case they are caught up in rain. This place is a sum total of perfect Vietnamese hospitality.

Great food and great service - we ate here three times while we were in Hanoi. Nice space - very comfortable, it's even air conditioned when needed. Great value too with really good prices.

Easy to find and really busy. Staff are uber polite and keen to serve everyone quickly. It is small so you may have to wait for a seat. The food is lovely and served hot. There are lots of options and I was left full and satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone and not just backpackers. It's a proper street restaurant with authentic tastes. It's a lovely part of the old Quarter.

Extremely nice food at a very fair price. The female waitress spoke perfect English and was very friendly and explained how to eat Vietnamese food. I also loved your outfit by the way ! Family run business which is nice to support. We also got some homemade coffee which was 50,000 and a lot cheaper then we have seen in the markets. Thank you for a great meal 😊

I wasn’t wrong to trust Google reviews! Papaya salad so crunchy, light-sweet, flavorful! I could definitely come back! Fresh spring rolls as well as fried were nice too! Yeah I had them all cuz I wouldn’t be in Vietnam anytime soon 🤣🤣🤣 I am full but happily!

This is a fantastic little Vietnamese restaurant in the Old Quarter. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. The banh mi was delicious and I also really enjoyed the black rice with yogurt dessert. After the meal, the staff even brought a free, fresh banana as dessert. The menu was vast and it was very nice that they had a vegan/vegetarian selection within each category of food. There were even options for vegan meats including vegan chicken, beef and shrimp. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone in Old Quarter and beyond.

Very nice, little restaurant in Old Quarter! Lot's of options for both vegan/vegetarian as well as meat eaters. Prices are very good for the portion size you receive. Everything tasted fresh & delicious! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area that they have a meal here.

Came in without expectations, came out having eaten one of the best bun cha in Hanoi. The food was great, really reasonable price and the staff is friendly and speaks good English. We will definitely come back for the bun cha and the fried spring rolls, but also to test some other things from the menu.

This is the best meal my fiancé (meat-eater) and I (vegetarian) had in Vietnam during our two-week visit from the States. The vegan spring rolls were so crispy and flavorful, there were plenty of vegan and meat bánh mì options with the most unbelievable baguette bread, the service was friendly, and the price was great for the quality. It’s also air-conditioned which is a nice respite from the afternoon heat. We still talk about it. Try it, you will too!

We went here while backpacking because of the high reviews. The whole experience was incredible!! Our waitress Phuong was so lovely and helped us pick some of our first vietnamese dishes. All the food we had here over our two visits in Hanoi was so tasty especially the fried spring rolls! Would recommend to all x
