This place has a wide menu, and the food is great. The only issue that we had, is two of our plates came out very late. Everyone else had already finished by the time the last two plates made it to the table. When Van found out he discounted 10% of the room plus didn't charge us from one of the plates and brought us free fruit for us to have. That was very nice and we didn't really expect him to go to that extent. Superb service. Food was very tasty plus we were able to watch the new years festival through the window.

The location of this Restaurant is superb, situated just beside Hoan Kiem Lake. Ordered Coconut Fried Rice, Fried Squid and Banh Xeo. Food is yummy and serving quite big. Hope to visit again next time.

Had dinner at this restaurant on 26 Sep 2022. The food was great and the portions were big! The staff was really friendly too! We were served by Ryan, who is a callisthenic enthusiast. He was very attentive and helpful.

Freshly cooked meal for you while enjoying the view of Hoàn Kiếm Lake. I’m happy that they serve vegan food as well. Rick, the manager never runs out of energy and likes a good conversation. Snail (yes, that’s what he goes by) attends to your needs fast. The low ambient lighting and the traditional Vietnamese decorations make the place very inviting.

The restaurant is very brilliant and the food is very delicious. It is really worthy to come here! really enjoy the meal:) The staff ,Hoai was really hospitable.

I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but it's also not a bad restaurant in a pinch. The food was okay, but everything was really expensive. The service was also a little strange with the waiter constantly hovering over us but not really saying anything.

The food and service were great! Hoai, our waitress, was delightful. The food was so flavorful and delicious. We got the Hanoi fried spring rolls and the sesame beef with vermicelli noodles — the rolls were some of the best we’ve had and so crunchy. Great prices.

Location wise this place is perfect, because it is right by the lake. We walked all morning and were happy to spend an hour at this restaurant. Spacious and air conditioned. Hoai, our server was very nice and spoke good English; she made some good recommendation for us. The special bun cha was delicious! The pumpkin fried rice was also quite a pleasant surprise. Almost all customers were foreigners, so it didn't quite give us the local experience we were looking for, but it sure was very comfortable and food was good!

Everything was okay. We had a lot of food while we were in Hanoi and this one wasn’t the best, but they were very kind people and the food was made to order as per usual. The duck was smoked before being cooked which gave it a strange flavor compared to how i usually like it. The fish stew was pretty much all fat unfortunately. The spring rolls were probably the best thing out of everything.

This was by far the worst food I had in hanoi. It was priced higher than most and figured since its *lakeside* to make up for it. Just avoid it. Save your money. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Going elsewhere to eat. We didn't even finish the food, just couldn't even stomach it.

Amazing place. It looks very small from outside. But once you walk it you will discover that there are a lot of space inside. Remind me of the Italian restaurant we visited in Florence. Fine dining environment. Food portion is big. Yet price is super cheap. The beef salad is a must try. Yummy n just 89k.

The food was really good, fried rice with coconut and cashew nuts and pumpkin fried rice, well presented. The staff were very helpful, explaining the dishes and even giving another table a demonstration. Looks much smaller from the outside but there's smaller rooms within with about 4-6 tables in each, only down side was the lock on the toilet door didn't quite work properly

It’s a vibey spot and the staff make it that much better. Leo is dope. Food was great, the squid and bamboo beef were favorites.

Had the best meal here! I ordered spring rolls and beef stir fry absolutely amazing! The spring rolls were massive and the stir fry tasted amazing. We had a lovely server called Ruby she was so kind and helped recommend so many food options. The food came out so quickly and such a great price!

Food is very yummy, sell mostly local dishes with a few western dishes. Leo, our server was really friendly and always made sure our needs were met. Portion is huge too!

Very nice cuisine point to visit. Li was friendly staffs to serve our table of 6 adults and 2 kids. Very tasty Vietnamese rice pancake and, noodles, nem, and crab hotpot. Our dining room a massive windows and lake view. We had best Vietnamese so far. I'm so pleasant to recomend for local foods.

We had the chance to visit this restaurant on the last day of our return. Casually just entered the restaurant but to our amazement, there is a large seating capacity inside. We didn't order much, as we had just one hour to kill before we start our journey back to India. What we liked the most about the restaurant was the way we were served. Mr. Chandan was our first point of contact the moment we stepped inside. The way he greeted us and other customers made all of us feel like we were V.I.P. customers. His ability to converse on diverse fields is impeccable.

Great lake view from our dining room, cool, clean, comfy and superb nice dishes with Buncha, noodles, Nem. I love the front lake side, was so beautiful . The Indian staff was very helpful and friendly. Highlg recommend.

Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as expectations. The menu sounded great the pricing was above average for most Vietnamese restaurants and although the food looked good, we had salmon which was hugely overcooked, sides that were cold and calamari that was very chewy. Hopefully it was just the chefs day off and someone else was cooking, because it had the potential to be great:( Sorry

Prices are high, but this is due to the location of the restaurant. Waiter very friendly and speaks English. Food very plentiful and very tasty.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here at Lake View Side. My absolute favourite was the seafood pancake .. crispy, fresh and finished with a zingy fish and vinegar sauce. Yummo! Decor was basic, but that’s just how it is in Hanoi and it’s authentic. But .. Hot day, cold beer and yum meal. What more do you need 🤷🏻‍♂️ Zin gave us great service with a smile.

Positiv: es wird auch englisch gesprochen und die Karte ist auch auf englisch Negativ: Speisen sind zu teuer 4mal soteuer wie auf der Straße und das Essen ist Touristen-vietnamesisch, da kann man in Deutschland auch zum Vietnamesen oder Thailänder um die Ecke gehen.

Easy Vietnamese food. Being there quite early in the evening, it was empty. The guy brings us to the table, and speaking English was nice and available. We took a seafood noodle soup, noodle with beef and veggies and noodles with pork. 2 soda water, a lemonade and hanoi beer. Total 685000 dong, about 26€. Nice service, good food.

All the dishes we had were fresh and delicious. Location wise, it’s located near the lake at the Old quarter, which is basically near to everything. I fully recommend to come and have tasty authentic food at this restaurant. On top of the quality food, Hoai, the server, provided very good service that increases our appetite.

Look outside is different l, inside is a big surprising. Dish is so huge too and so so good! The dining room front face is the street and over looking the lake which is so clear looking and nice, quiet. We must go back!🫶
