I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The food was exquisite, with flavors that left a lasting impression. What truly set the evening apart was the exceptional service provided by Kevin. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor enhanced our dining experience. Kevin went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and attended to throughout the meal from start to finish, the service was prompt, and his genuine enthusiasm for his work was evident. The combination of delicious food and Kevin's outstanding service makes the experience a standout choice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

We came at lunch time after seeing the fantastic reviews online and felt we had to check it out based on this! Was quiet, only 2 other couples in here with us. It’s a two story place that could easily seat 40+ so clearly gets busy in the evenings. My partner wanted to order the Vietnamese favourite bun cha, I ordered the poached chicken with ginger and fried chicken spring rolls to share. Food, although was on the pricier side was fantastic and we both really enjoyed our dishes. Waitress Sim, was really attentive and even made sure she helped my partner by putting the wifi code in for her to her phone and helping her by showing her how to roll the wraps properly. I thought this was a great touch. Little did we know at the end after asking if her service was good today, she asked if she could take my girlfriends phone and took her to their trip advisor page so she could write a 5 star review for her. If she wouldn’t have done this, I would have given them a 5 star review everything was great but this was a real negative and is going to put customers off in future if they continue, as I have seen others comment that have had it done to them, to do this. Ask politely if you could leave a review if your service has been up to standard, no problem but taking to the page and almost watching over while they write it. Not good. Go for the great food and service but beware what will come at the end of your meal.

Visited tonight after seeing the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the fresh chicken spring rolls, stir fried beef in black peppercorn sauce and the Hanoi traditional fried pork - all dishes were great (I was keen to get stuck in and had to take my pic mid feast!) We were served by the lovely Alex who made sure we had everything we needed and also helped with using the rice papers. Would definitely recommend here if in the area!

This restaurant has amazing food and a wonderful staff. Daisy was so nice and made sure we enjoyed our food. We came with friends and everybody enjoyed the experience and food so much. If you don't know how to eat traditional Vietnamese food they will put gloves on and show you how to enjoy your meal. Can't miss restaurant in Hanoi.

Incredible food and service! Best food we’ve had in Vietnam so far. We had the Pho, fried spring rolls and Bun Cha and it was spot on. Our waiter Zin was great and showed us how to properly roll the Bun Cha! Five star to him

One of the best food experiences in Hanoi. Beef wrapped in betel leaves was too good and the shrimps with cashew were very yummy too. Tiep helped a lot with food selection and portion sizes. He also obliged to our customisation requests and gave us exactly what we wanted. Good food, good service and awesome atmosphere. Do go here if you are in Hanoi.

The caramelised pork belly with quail eggs is lovely; I can finish two bowls of rice with the dish! Highly recommend this restaurant: reasonable price and top-notch food. The staff is professional and attentive.

Went to this place because it was very close to our hotel in old quarters. We had the pork rolled in betel leaf, fried fish and tofu&eggplant(V). The food was amazing! Hana, our waitress was lovely , she recommended us food choices according to our likings, showed us how to wrap the food up and made sure that we have enough side dishes. Excellent food, atmosphere and customer service. 💕

Went tonight by myself to this restaurant recommended from TikTok and it was really good! Prices are very cheap but the food is still a 10/10! Very fresh and good! Also the staff (name: Tiep) was very carrying and it was so nice talking to him! He made the visit and dinner very nice and funny! Definitely will come back!

Beautiful restaurant. Was served by James who had excellent English and really valued our experience. Food was delicious. I recommend the Hanoi Traditional Fried Pork (see photos). As first-time travellers to Vietnam, James gave us a leaflet containing useful information about Hanoi and other areas of Vietnam. Beer and food came to about 400.000 dong

What an amazing experience! The chef took us on a stroll to the market to pick up the ingredients and even stopped at a little neighborhood hole in the wall for dessert. Then we came back to his restaurant where we began chopping and cooking on the third floor while enjoying some cold green tea and ac. After we cooked and devoured our meals, we proceeded to learn how their famous coconut coffee was made since we had already had the egg coffee that morning. I truly recommend this amazing cultural experience! Anthony Bourdain is definitely right about Vietnamese cuisine! Try the Bun Cha!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Hoang's tonight. Our server Hue was just the best- suggesting some great items and then showing us how to serve them. The cost was not that much above the higher-end street food; we had 4 terrific dishes, plus beverages for about $20. The Hanoi favorite, Bun Cha grilled fish is fantastic, as was the VT pancake and petit fresh springrolls & sauteed Bok choy & shittake mushrooms. With Hue's assistance, I also signed up on the spot for the morning's cooking class!

Very tasty Vietnamese fare. Good service and the restaurant is the bigger venue of its cousin; Tung’s Kitchen. A good place to try all the Vietnamese namesake must try’s - do note it’s of a slightly higher price but you get what it’s worth. The local beers are good and cheap. Come! You won’t be disappointed, plus the weekend market is just a stone’s throw away for you to walk off your gained calories.

Really amazing food for a good price. There's a large selection of both vegetarian dishes and meat dishes. The atmosphere is really relaxed and great. I came for lunch and had Sim as my waitresses. She was amazing. She talked with me and even helped me practice ordering in Vietnamese. She was great and gave me a small lesson on how to pronounce certain words. The restaurant gets busy but the waitresses all do a good job checking in with guests.

I had a fantastic half day cooking lesson experience here. I was able to choose the menu, go to buy the ingredients fresh from the market, and learn how to put recipes together in true Vietnamese style. Not only that but i felt welcome and good enough, despite my limited cooking skills! We also shared good conversation with excellent English skills! There are many places to learn to cook in Hanoi, and recommendations go a long way to helping you choose. I can’t imagine you would not enjoy this experience, fresh food and great company at a very competitive price. Do it!

Honestly the best restaurant we ate at in Hanoi. Food was really, really nice. Must try the meat pancake. Instructions on eating it are given. We were served by the lovely Hanah. Very friendly and helps us and others with the food and what to do with it. Restaurant had a lovely vibe. Yes you could get the food cheaper on the street but the staff and venue are well worth the small extra cost. Visit, you'll be glad you did.

We came to this restaurant without doing research on it and found its customer service, food and ambiance to be good. The staff gave us time to decide on our selection of food, and he came over without us calling on him. This was being attentive. The food was nice. Really value for money, and because of our higher exchange rate advantage, I felt a bit guilty calling the food prices cheap. The restaurant was not crowded, maybe because we were visiting at a time of post-pandemic and only 30% of the visitors were back. So, there was no queue and we were seated immediately on deciding this was the place to have dinner. The deco is modern, clean (including the washroom), functional with lots of elbow space to get comfortable to its surroundings. For these, 2 Stars for food, and 1 Star for atmosphere.

This is a very solid restaurant in the old quarter. Quality dishes -- I had a sizzling pork platter, one where the meat comes on a sizzling hot metal platter and you "wrap" it with lettuce leaves and other stuff inside. It was great! Good prices and a friendly and efficient staff. Not crazy bustling so it's relaxing and comfortable. My host, Alex, was very kind and patient. I liked everything about this well-run establishment. Prices are very fair too. Will return.

Definitely highly recommended for tourists who have just arrived and still wondering where to start to try some local food. The dishes we ordered were all delicious, the servers can communicate in English and they will teach you how to enjoy the food you ordered , like wrapping with rice paper. We ordered Banana flower salad with shrimps, Beef wrapped in wild betal leaf, stir-fried beef with lemon grass & peppers and an egg coffee. Each time a sizzling hot-plate of food passes by, you will be turning your head to check it out and makes you hunger for more.

They were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and approachable, which added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The staff went out of their way to ensure that every guest felt welcome and comfortable, which is something that is highly valued by customers. Overall, I would highly recommend Hoang Cuisine to anyone looking for a top-notch Vietnamese dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect for a cozy and relaxing dining experience. Thank you, Hoang Cuisine, for an unforgettable evening, and I cannot wait to return to indulge in your delicious dishes again soon.

Went here to grab dinner after a long day of tour at Halong Bay. Was craving for fresh spring rolls and bun cha. Saw great reviews on Google and so I tried it out. Food was relatively affordable. Taste is authentic. The restaurant is quite near beer street and the hotel I was staying. Service was great and professional. Recommended for travellers to try.

I'm OBSESSED with the coconut coffee here. It's like a coconut sorbet with coffee and flakey roasted coconut flakes, so good I had two and only 55,000VND. The atmosphere was good, lots of tourists and a good kind of busy so you know it's good! This place was recommended by a local and everything was delicious.

I made a reservation before my visit, but it didn't seem to be crowded during lunch time. So able to enjoy comfortably lunch. A friendly Eng speaking staff explained each food in detail. The grilled catfish and rice noodles included in the set menu were quite delicious, but above all, I would like to compliment the food presentation here, more for a foreigner or a tourist of course.

Been binging on lots of awesome outdoor street food . Decided to treat myself to some Aircon and fancier meals. Came here and was totally impressed by the super delicious menu and even more impressive service by Tam and his team! Will surely return! Psss....the Spring Rolls! Yumz!

Tam and his team were awesome they created a table large enough to accommodate our large group. The food was amazing. I recommend the vegetarian egg rolls on the recommended menu. The coconut coffee is absolutely decadent. My friend also loved the caramelizad pork belly with quail eggs! Tam offered extra rice for free! So nice!

The cooking class at Hoang cuisine was a fun experience. Jenny was a great host and guided us through the entire cooking process from buying ingredients at the local market to preparing dishes in the kitchen. Standout dish for me was the bo cuon la lot. I'd recommend this for any looking to get a feel for local cuisine.

This was our first meal in Vietnam and we were really happy with the food. We ordered pho and Vietnamese pancake. So fresh and tasty! Our server Pamela is very friendly and demonstrated how to make the wraps. 5 stars!

Tiep was our server and he was very helpful in our food selection. My daughter has celiac disease, and he communicated with the kitchen to ensure that her meal was safe for her. The food was very good. I had the Bùn Chà which was better than I tried in other restaurants. Will return before we leave Hanoi.

I don’t usually give too many “all 5s” but this one deserves it. Popped into on a weekday night and was seated immediately in a calm but cool dining room. Aircon is nice and cold and the staff are very friendly. The place is little bit tucked away behind parked motorbikes but otherwise very easy to find. Food was served promptly and fresh. I was particularly impressed with how fast the food was served and the temperature! Hot! By the way, ask for Linh, she’s a great server.

We went to Hoang’s restaurant for dinner, and when I tell you it was some of the best food of my life, I ain’t cappin’. We ordered the mango and strawberry smoothies, chicken spring rolls, bun cha, and beef fried rice with pineapple and cheese. The smoothies were fresh, and not as sweet as Western drinks, but I personally loved it. It was sweetened by the fruit itself and didn’t seem to contain additional sweetened which made it just the perfect amount of sweet for me. The spring rolls were some of the most delicious, perfectly crispy spring rolls I’ve had. The bun cha was absolutely delicious, each ingredient was incredibly fresh. The fried rice was the most ‘ok’ of the dishes. It wasn’t as stand out compared to everything else, but still good. Pamela was our server and was absolutely fabulous. She was very kind and showed us how to put the bun cha together.

Nice food, I ordered the beef fried rice, veg spring rolls and the carrot orange juice. The girl and Mr Winsi were great at their service. Good service. The spring rolls were great and a signature dish. The rice was good. The juice was amazing!

Food is great. Tastes great and looks presentable. It’s our first dish in Hanoi and I can say it was the best. Pamela was the one who served us. She was very accommodating. Highly recommended

Definitely deserves 5 stars! The staff, food, and atmosphere was great. We had Tiep helping us out, starting from food recommendations, to how to make and eat them. When you drop by, ask for him!

Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! There’s a reason why there’s so many reviews for this place. Here’s what we ordered: Bun Cha, Bo Cuan La Lot, Nem Ran, and Bo Xao Sa Ot. The must are the Bun Cha and Bo Cuan La Lot, such a wonderful experience. Special shout-out to Windy who was very kind in serving us and really gave some great ordering recommendations. He spoke fluent English and made the whole dining experience very pleasant especially showing us how to make the rolls for the Bun Cha and Bo Cuan La Lot. The place is very clean, and the bathroom is very clean as well. They also have free wifi which is a plus. My family and I will definitely be coming back!

The food is great and they serve big portions! Tam (mango team) was very accommodating and entertaining. He taught us how to make spring rolls with rice paper. He also was very charming - he carried our bags 😅

Came here for dinner. Had fried dumpling with green leafy vegetables condiments, beef fried rice, local stewed fish and papaya salad. Everything was tasty and the service was great. Ended with caramelised banana with rum. Thank you for the great service, Mango team!!!

A fantastic Vietnamese restaurant with authentic local food and exceptional service. The atmosphere is really lovely. The food here is just amazing 😍. Highly recommend this place. A big thank you to our waiter Tuan for looking after us and for explaining how to eat Bun Cha and other Vietnamese dishes. Tuan - thank you so much for making our final dinner in Hanoi really memorable and enjoyable.

Authentic but still creative I like how they put bun cha and cha ca on the hot plate. You either can roll or just simply eat in the bowl mixing all the veggie and meat/fish. The staffs are attentive but not over-enthusiastic. But the place is a bit dark during daytime.

Delicious food. Plenty of vegan options with good portion size which is enough for one. Sim suggested some good non veg options ..her smile and friendly gesture makes it all the more special.

Probably the best food we have had in Vietnam, loads of veggie options too. Food arrived steaming hot and in good time. Our server, K, was brilliant and so great to have a chat with. I had the tofu and eggplant, it was genuinely so good. Thank you so much!

If all you have been eating in your trip to Hanoi are the usual bun cha, bahn mi and pho, please do yourselves a favour and come here to eat their wonderful home cooked dishes. We had the best braised fish and braised pork here! Actually everything we ordered were fantastic. Tiep, our server was exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for the wonderful meal! Highly recommended 🌟

We found them at Google! The restaurant is pretty big, with 2nd level. The staff are very friendly. The food was prepared fresh and very tasty. The prices are reasonable. They even show you how to wrap your ban cha. Also, they have my fav drink soda water with passion fruit...yum! Thanks for the fab lunch 😀

We were happy with the food cause it has all the Vietnamese favorites in one store. Prices weren’t too bad also, our total bill was 1M VND for 5 people. Kevin, our waiter, was also very accommodating and friendly. He even gave us recommendations on where to go around in Hanoi. Definitely recommend :)

👍👍 It's such a great and wonderful Pizza 🍕 😋 I ever have. I can't explain how wonderful it is. Also Spaghetti 🍝 😋 was so good. They cooked 80% for the spaghetti. For half chicken teriyaki and half 4 cheeses, is such a very good smell from the charcoal stove. It's very harmonized tasted in one full...
