Ordered a hot coffee and cooked breakfast. Coffee arrived cold, asked for it to be reheated. Breakfast arrived (it looked good) but it was ice cold, asked for it to be warmed up. They said that it would come back cold because "the weather was cold". It did indeed come back completely cold again. Bacon and bread were rock hard.

We were here on breakfast and dinner. We found good English breakfast, latte with alternate milk. On dinner I ate simple but delicious cheese burger, my wife had magnificent chicken chop. Dinner was accompanied by absolutely lovely French waltzes. Also staff is client oriented, how it can be in Vietnam at all.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! We’ve been back and forth to this lovely restaurant so many times and never be disappointed. Highly recommend if you miss Western food when you’re in Hanoi.

Still one of the best options for brunch in Ha Noi. Delicious and super instagram-able food. Menu consists of classic brunch dishes with some twists. Good service. Space is a bit small but understandable considering the location.

Excellent place for a Brunch! Good service, good food in taste and in presentation. 4 Stars and not 5 Stars because of the dirty toilets. Food quality: The eggs benedicts were well cooked, not too raw, not too cooked. Smoked Salmon on the other hand wasnt of a first quality, but hey, not easy to get this in VN. Drink wise, the Kombucha was refreshing, but the Water infused in Mint+cinnamon would have deserved a bit more balance between both aromas. Service: Overall good, despite one little misunderstanding with one of the Waiters. If you ask a question where there are 2 options, you expect to hear an answer indicated which option, and not an answer saying "yes". Atmosphere: Well decorated, pretty much Zen. Hygiene: The black spot. Toilets are quite bad and dirty, compared to the rest of the location. Just put a small Budget to pump up the toilets please.

Wow amazing! I was recommended this place by best friend who is from Vietnam. The food was amazing. I had the Green Eggs Benedict with a side of bacon and hash browns. The soy iced coffee was also very delicious as well. I was seated pretty quickly and the service was phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back.

Love the food here! Waiting time is short and food serving is always in gently way. I like the vibe and mood here all of time I visit! It will close early at 9 p.m so don’t forget to arrive or book sooner to have more time to enjoy and relax.

Overpriced for the platter. Chewy bacon, overdone eggs. Decent mint sauce and tomato soup though. Allows for credit cards. Saw only foreigners.

Reading the previous reviews my expectations might have been a little bit to high. The food was okay and there was nothing to complain but I was searching for the taste that other reviewers made say about Muối tiêu eggs Benedict, they are the best you could ever have. The Muối tiêu squid was also less signature dish than plain deep fried squid with a cocktail sauce. I haven’t found any sichuan peppers as stated in the menu. Given the comparably high prices (~ green eggs benedict 135, squid 135, yogurt 85) I have no reason to come back.

The food was good and made fresh. The cafe latte and banana smoothie were both very good. The service was good but the price was also reasonable. The only thing that was a problem was the sausage tasted bad. But besides that everything else was good and my wife enjoyed her kale and avocado toast.

A very great place to chill with your beloved ones. Tried the Big Breakfast, Grilled Chicken and Tomato Soup with basil. The taste was perfect, especially the soup (given that originally was going for the pumpkin soup but sold out, and not a big fan of tomato), but the kitchen did a very good job in delivering the amazing texture and taste. Atmosphere and decorations are simple but cozy and great for photos. Definitely would come back here more often.

We enjoyed their specialty coffee - Cococino, espresso with coconut cream and Soy milk coffee. Egg Benedict Sourdough Bagel was on point. The Thai style Prawn pasta was nice, sauce is a little on the sweet side. In our opinion we were expecting it to be more spicy. The service is good and fast. Place is crowded from 12noon onwards.

Best place for brunch in Hanoi. Has a wide range of healthy choice - salad, sourdough breads...The food here is tasty and affordable.

Had green avo toast and a cappuccino! Don't think twice, this is the place for brunch in Hanoi. Definitely coming back soon.

The meal I had was one of the best in VN. I could feel the happiness filling up my tummy. I left satisfied and pleasantly full. I would return! Staff is friendly. Kale smoothie beyond words.

Nice place, great service (so far the best in Vietnam). Food is really well made and tasty, coffee was very nice and smoothie was perfect, better than others i tried elsewhere.. i can highly recommend this place. Bonus is that waiters speak English so you can actually get recommendation or explanation, which is not something you normally find in Vietnam. Well done! They were full so they asked us if we have reservation, but we didn't so they told us to wait for 10 minutes and gave us the menu while waiting. We didn't wait 5 min and got the table. It is somewhat pricey, but worth the money.

I've been here twice now, and the service and food has always been good. The service is very fast, even when they are packed! The quality of the ingredients is top notch. Best breakfast/brunch I've had in Ha Noi by far.

Definitely my go to place for brunch. I did not take the picture of my bagel with smoked salmon and poached eggs before diggin in. It was reallllly good! Awesome coffee. Even the simplest passion fruit juice is super yummy. We had a hard time getting a table here. Go after 1.30pm for peaceful brunch

Lovely place with hipster brunch choices! Loved the healthy cuisine and the delicious cocochino 😋🌱 Staff speaks good English and is really friendly. They also accept credit cards for payment. Also they use paper straws :)

Not bad. If the waiter hadn't forgotten to bring the drinks, I would probably have liked it more. While I was waiting for the drink (a glass of water), my food got cold.

Loved this place! Best breakfast in Hanoi and really great service. They happily catered to our requests to swap food items to make a meal vegetarian. Can’t fault this restaurant.

Great high quality food at a reasonable price. We needed a reservation but they were able to accommodate us a couple of hours later. Food was phenomenal, cool atmosphere, great service, would try out some of their other dishes next time.

Great brunch place and reasonable price, so book in advance! My hubby loves the green poached egg toast with smoked salmon, may try original one next time. Prawn pasta is great, a bit spicy though.

We really enjoyed our brunch at Salt n' Pepper. We ordered 3 dishes: prawn pasta, vegan poke bowl, avocado toaste and all of them were amazing and very delicious. The ambience was cozy, staff was quite nice even when the restaurant was super busy. This is definitely one of the best brunch spots in Hanoi to hang out with your friends.

  • 3/5 Nilu B. 1 year ago on Google
Quite nice. I won’t say I loved it but was decent. Egg royale which I ordered was quite nice but the drink Cucumber something was poor! I told the server about me not liking it, but all they said was sorry and did nothing!!! Limited options or almost no options if you wish to eat non-eggy brekkie. Good ambience

Pretty decorated place and delicious food, especially Chicken Chop!! Try this if you like mushroom. All fine but staffs are a bit noisy.. I undetstand they are busy but no idea why they keep running inside.

I came here for brunch from a recommendation of a friend. I reserved a table on the outdoor patio. The food was wonderful overall. It was better than I expected actually! However, one thing that bothered me was how all of the staffs weren’t wearing uniform, though they had one (I found out through Instagram). There are a lot of tables in and outside but personally, I prefer outside because of the simple and Parisian-ish decor.

tomatoes soup is so on point i have no word to describe. The chicken with presto sauce and benedict egg are both cooked just right. Overall very good experience. 10/10 would come back

Best breakfast I’ve had here in Hanoi yet. Excellent quality for value. Coffee and smoothies are also brilliant. Friendly staff, and lovely relaxed atmosphere in the cafe. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Adding this place to the list of top best brunch / lunch restaurants in Hanoi. Everything ordered was just superb. Highly recommended if you like healthy - western - modern fusion food. And their kambucha is so delicious!

All time favourite brunch place! Reasonable price with good quality ingredients and big portions. Last but not least, the service is really good.

  • 5/5 Thuy L. 2 years ago on Google
I'm in love with the platter since they are packed with good stuff, especially the smoke salmon which is not too fatty and salty. Salads are good as well, but I'm not too impressed with the Thai shrimp pasta.

HONESTLY BEST BRUNCH IN HANOI CITY! I’ve been in Hanoi for one month trying different places with my girlfriend and Muôi tiêu had so far the best quality, dishes presentation and waiters attention. You have a great variety of dishes. From all day brunch options, to bowls and salads, appetizers to share and also main courses. The portion are gentle, which is in concordance with the price. You have a spacious indoor although there aren’t many tables. Reservation for big groups is advised. They also have an open terrace with some plants as decoration. I am looking forward to go there again and try the other dishes. @Santiago

Been here before in their old location. The new location is very close to the train street in a quiet alley with a nice balcony for outdoor seats. The breakfast (croissant benny and french toast) is just delicious!!! Nice staff as well. Our go-to breakfast place in Hanoi!

Back open and as good as ever. Strong customer service. Accommodating to make meals vegetarian.

This is where true brunch is served. Portion is a tiny bit smaller than I expected but the food was exquisite. We had a rather lovely spring afternoon in here. The restaurant can get quite crowded so if you want to sit on the terrace of a breezy weekend afternoon then a one-day-ahead reservation would be a wise choice.

This is the best (western style) restaurant in Hanoi. The food was absolutely incredible and affordable. I will 100% be coming back. The pumpkin soup was especially spectacular! 10 stars.
