This is My fav place in Truc Bach, me and my dog walk by here everyday and we always stop for a drink then home. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Beers and foods are tasty and definitely recommend this place.

This is a great bar. Lots of choice of beers and food/snacks. The ambience has a nice vibe and there is live music and comedy. The prices here are higher than other bars, however it's a good place for a beer.

Good western style pub with a pinch of japan style standing bar. A lot of western people is eating and drinking here. Food: well we only ordered the sausage platter, and honestly? We cannot distinguish which one is which as its all sliced and taste the same. Pork BBQ is nice. Aesthetic wise : Good Food : Average Price : above average

Fantastic place with good service to soak up the west lake vibes. Has plenty of seats to accommodate different group sizes too, contrary to its name🤣. Selection of craft beers on tap and canned/glass ciders and ales are good too. If you like fruity flavours, the pineapple cider (90K) from Hanoi cider was really refreshing. Chicken quesadilla (140K) was very tasty - generous with the cheese and meat. That sauce on the side that goes with it is even better. Absolutely delicious! Their food and drinks menu rotates so every time u go, the experience could be different. Service is proactive and warm and they understand English with ease. Good vibes only 🤠👍🏼

I really like this bar and the balcony it has which overlooks the lake. It’s super vibey with a good selection of craft. It’s not actually a standing bar as they have plenty of seats so that’s a plus. They also serve light bites. Staff was friendly and could give good recommendations.

Great place for craft beer. Pretty diverse selection of styles including a few non-beer options. Everything we had was great. Also ordered some french fries because we needed a snack and we were blown away by how good they were (incredibly crispy but still had some creamy potato). Wish we tried more of the food after that experience.

Good location and a wide, reasonably priced range of beer options. Good (tho not cheap) foods, and friendly people in general. Nice sunset from here as well. The only bloody weird thing is somehow staff like to cause "music fights" (either intentional or they unknowingly do it) i.e. Having live music upstairs but also playing different music through speakers on ground floors. Sometimes speakers in the same floor fight against one another too.

Sweet and cozy little bar with outstanding beer assortment. Prices are very high, higher than prices in a lot of European places even. The rooftop balcony makes you forget about the money you spend though.

With a fantastic location overlooking Truc Bach lake, Standing Bar is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset on a lazy afternoon. Despite what the name suggests, there is seating available upstairs, though probably not if there are any events on. Standing bar has around 20 taps, from breweries all across Vietnam. If you're after beers from Saigon on tap, this is the place to go. At night, Standing Bar gets very busy and has a fantastic and lively atmosphere. Staff speak English and are happy to give advice and recommendations.

This is the first time that I’ve came here. The staff were very friendly and supportive. They recommended me the Loose Rivet and it was delicious (maybe one of the best beer that I’ve taste in Hanoi).

Relatively expensive, as it's a big expat hangout spot, but still a good mix of cool young people. The vibes are good and the one time I went there was a bunch of house/breakdancers there who formed a dance circle with a dj spinning funk music. The bar is downstairs and upstairs is a balcony and dance floor where most of the people were.

Super nice bar in a beautiful location. Faces the lake and offers a huge selection of craft beer. When you are sitting downstairs, the service is crazy fast but they seem to forget about people on the upstairs balcony. That's a shame because the balcony is gorgeous. I would like to go back and try the food because from what I could see, everyone that had food, it looked Awesome.

For those of you who think all beer tastes like piss (like me) you're in luck because they pity people like us and I had a WONDERFUL MOHITO while my partner had a porter. They were both delicious. Reasonable prices, sweet people, rooftop at sunset was awesome.

Best beer choice on tap in Hanoi, with rotating breweries and beers. No doubt you'll find the best brew for your tasting buds. The snacks are also pleasing, and the manager lady is both knowledgeable and very kind. Highly recommend for week days after work, or on the weekend to enjoy the view on the outdoor terrace!

my go-to place anytime i visit Hanoi, love the lake view and their balcony is smoker friendly. nice selection of craft beers, can go for lower IBU or grab an IPA when i’m not in the mood for some real stuff. sometimes it can get quite noisy around the ordering desk so make sure the staff understands what you want :)
