Great experience in a very intimate bar! They can make all the classics, but the stars are their drinks inspired by Vietnamese cuisine. We tried the Omai & Ap Tho, some snacks and a couple of off-the-menu drinks, which were awesome. Will be back for sure. Live acoustic music was great, especially the singer.

One of the best cocktail bars in Hanoi for sure. Delicious cocktails, creative bartenders and chic ambience. The Phô drink is outrageous and awesome, AND you get to see lots of fire! Extremely creative and designed by owner who owns Ne Boong-Ke as well. Design your own cocktail, ask them to surprise you, select your own tasting or simply select from their extensive menu. It’s a no brainer for anyone wanting a late night delicious cocktail with a great crowd.

Top notch place with very unique cocktail creations. We tried the famous 'pho' cocktail and it didn't disappoint, delicious spices with a chili kick. The Omai was my second favorite followed by the Ap Tho as third. A must visit!

We have been twice there during our visit to Hanoi. We loved the Vietnamese style cocktails and more particular Ap To (chicken fat washed Vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemongrass and lime syrup).

Very cool place and the drinks are fantastic. Very small, like most places in Hanoi. For Vietnam, a little on the pricey side but still much less than the states. It's surrounded by lots of good food and nothin better than a hot bowl of Pho after a night out. In general, all the drinks in Vietnam have been outstanding.

We didn’t have a place to go for NYC and the staff let us sit outside. We tried the famous Pho drink which was actually quite good! The Omai (ginger and apricot cocktail) was my favourite. I also tried another cocktail with peanut and grenadine which was a little too sweet for me. Perfectly balanced and would go back just for that drink. Wish we could have enjoyed the inside atmosphere of the place but it was full! Would return!

Very beautiful and cozy little bar in the center of Hanoi. You’ll get the most famous and unique Phố-Cocktail, crested after the ever so famous Vietnamese national dish Phố. Excellent barkeepers and a very beautiful surrounding. Definitely worth a visit!

THE place to take your crush on a first date. You absolutely MUST try their house specialty cocktails. The one inspired by pho was to die for! Would give this place a 4.5/5 ~ only reason it’s not 5 stars is because of the prices and the waiters just being a tiny bit too over the top corny. It’s more polite to just bring out drinks and let us chat than constantly come over to make jokes and ask for us to leave a review. People leave good reviews if you just provide good service. Also not sure the art hanging on the walls gives the right kind of vibe. The one we sat across from was a bit depressing to look at.

We had a private event here at which we experienced the Pho Cocktail. It was made famous by the mixologist that created it inspired by war time stories and the spices and herbs is the famous soup dish Pho. We watched as he skillfully made the delicious cocktail. The Ne opens a 6:00 every evening and stays open until 2:00 a.m. Highly recommend.

Interesting spot with cocktails based off local flavours including their iconic pho cocktail which comes with an elaborate preparation and service, and is truly pho-like in flavour. Wish I knew that they didn’t do live music every weekend evening so do check before coming. Overall pleasant experience.

Service and cocktails were great. What wasn’t is that they keep a beta fish in an old cognac bottle on the bar. No filter, Co2, heater etc, just one fish in a tiny bottle with one fake plant. I’m not going to other countries to tell people what they are doing wrong but if this bar aspires to be an international recognized high level establishment then they shouldn’t then they shouldn’t rely on cheap animal cruelty to seem fancy. And please don’t flush the poor thing, betas don’t need much, a proper tank doesn’t take up much place for these and can be a nice addition to an otherwise great bar. Willing to delete the review if there is proof that they treat the fish better.

Great signature cocktails and even better service. I definitely urge everyone to try the cocktail "pho". It was amazing how they had captured the essence of the famous Vietnamese dish into a cocktail. I highly recommend it!

Awesome place! Kind of a speakeasy vibe. We got there around 8:30 on a Saturday, and there were plenty of seats, but it started to fill up over the next hour. We got the pho cocktail and the under bridge cocktail, both of which were amazing. It's obviously a more expensive place to get a drink (160k to 225k per drink), but worth visiting and cheaper than home (the US)!

I was doing a little Pho cocktail research and found out about Ne from another bartender. Was supposed to meet a friend but she could not make it so it was a solo night. The pho cocktail has a subtle herb flavour and tad bit too sweet for me. I actually requested for less sugar but I guess this was not picked up since the bartender made two at the same time. Presentation is very beautiful though. I have to admit this is not the best Pho cocktail I’ve had in Hanoi so far. I also had the chilli negroni which I thought was going to be different from the rest of the Negronis available but I was wrong. It was too spicy for me - or anyone else as a matter of fact as the chilli level is on explosion mode... Bartender was very nice to offer another one but I said no thank you because I was going to leave already. It's actually a very very nice drink if it has a hint of spiciness instead of a bomb of spiciness. I felt their drinks are less gimmicky - straight to the point good drinks and reasonably priced. I am definitely interested in other drinks - Will definitely return if I do go back to Hanoi!!

Recommend trying the pho cocktail - it is prepared very intricately and the taste is mind blowing - the drink is a spicy one. The tofu cocktail was unique but the taste was kind of bland. Also tried the pandan cocktail but did not like it - found it too sweet for my liking. Bartenders and staff were really warm and friendly. It’s a cosy bar!

Great cocktail bar recommended to visit in Hanoi! Especially “Pho Cocktail” 🍹 The famous “Pho Cocktail” with the story and interesting process that represents Vietnam in a smooth way Placed on the sub-road but not far from the main road, can walk here, the front is full of restaurants. If come on the day that has a live band, that could be great too. Have a seat at the bar, small table, and sofa area, and also have a toilet inside. All the staff is very welcome and nice 😊

What an experience! Absolutely loved the drinks. Got the Pho, Trang Tien, Omai & Ap Tho. Loved them all! Would’ve loved to try all of their signature drinks.

The highlight is definitely the Pho cocktail. When I say it tastes like pho I mean it in the best way. The bartender showed us how they infuse the liquors with all the spices that make pho broth. Incredible and tasty. But doesn’t taste too savory! The other cocktails I tried were also good but this one took the cake by far.

The Pho cocktail lived up to its name. WeA came for the cocktails, which were all amazing, and were astounded with the service. As our bartender made the Pho cocktail, a wait staff came to explain the elaborate process - like a tour guide. We will come back for sure

This was my favourite bar experience in Hanoi. We had to wait a while to get seated, but the waiter came out with some water for us while we waited. The bartenders were nice and skilled. All of the cocktails tasted really good. It’s a professional place and you can understand why they have won awards. They incorporate local flavours in their cocktails and I always find that a great way to get me interested in trying signature cocktails. This is a top bar!

First and one of the best bar experiences in Hanoi. We found this place from one of the must visit pages and have ordered some of the cocktails mentioned in the review. Firstly, it's the pho cocktail. Not kidding, literally. You will not be able to savor your pho anymore as this place introduces you to the dark side of enjoying your pho with a small punch of gin in it. Then it was Touch the Blue. No I am not color blind, the drink below (blue Curacao) is actually blue, but the foam has that nice and light shade of green. To describe it as a cocktail is not to do this drink justice. It is an experience that you spread over the night. Served with the savory rice cracker on the side to off set that sweetness of the cocktails itself it brings the heat up as you are hit with a moderate level of spice from your first bite. It's quite small but cozy place. Perfect to kickstart your nightlife journey in Hanoi. Highly recommend.

The place has a nice ambience and the staff were welcoming and helpful when questioned about the cocktails. We started with the pho and moonlight shadow. Both were excellent and a must try here. Next we tried cherry blossom and the forgotten, the CB was quite nice especially if you like sweet cocktails. The coffee egg mix in the forgotten was nice but I wasn't a fan of the white wine underneath it and found mixing it didn't help much either. Lastly we got the Hanoian and city of stars. I was not a fan of the Hanoian but probably because I'm not a fan of campari as it's so bitter. I assumed melting the coconut ice cream into it would make it sweeter bit it just made it taste almost like bubblegum flavour. The city of stars was nicer but a bit sweet for me. What spoilt our evening was when attempting to pay the staff said the machine was not accepting my card and they did not seem to care. I gave them 3 cards to try and with none working they just blamed the faulty machine. Luckily I withdrew a lot of Vietnamese dong before coming here and paid with that. Won't be going back just due to this.

The Pho cocktail was definitely a star of the night if not the highlight of our trip in Hanoi. The flavour of pho that this place was able to encapsulate and put in the cocktail was a mind-blown experience that I will never forget.

Great little cocktail place! Cocktails were not cheap at all (even by Western/ UK standards) but the bar was cute, service was great, the cocktails were very nice (and the facilities were decent). They even gave us free water and bar snacks! The entrance is on a busy road and it can be easily missed as the sign isn't clear so just follow Google and look for the dark entrance! Worth a visit.

The Vietnamese food inspired drinks blew my mind! The pho cocktail was my favourite - absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. The cocktail engineers are skilful and friendly. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in Hanoi! A definite crowd favourite.

An extremely unique menu that shows off Vietnamese flavors in incredible ways. My boyfriend and I each had 2 cocktails and loved them all. You could tell a lot of creativity and love went into every drink on the menu. I have told all of my friends about this bar and will definitely be back! The staff here was incredibly kind as well. They made excellent suggestions. Try sitting at the bar so you can watch them make the drinks! It’s super cool.

If a cocktail bar could feel like home it’d be Ne. The past few weeks have been spent in Vietnam, Hanoi being the main stay of the trip. At night we’d bounce around the city trying different cocktail bars. While we found several and enjoyed most, some more than others. Ne stood above the rest and frankly it wasn’t close. The menu entails a list of classics and signature cocktails and while some of the places have an overlap of the same the drinks were superior at Ne. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar and watched in awe these guys behind the bar do their thing. The staff is what makes this place. True artisans of their craft from the guys that make the bar revolve to the drink makers themselves. The phrase “this is the best place ever!” gets thrown out so often it has watered down the meaning of it. While I’ve been to some cool cocktail bars and have had good drinks all over the world, I’ve never experienced the feeling I felt while at Ne. It was like hearing my favorite song for first time or watching my favorite band up close. My brother in law and i were simply at a loss for words throughout. We closed it down only to come back the next night and do it all over again. This is my favorite bar I've ever been too and will make my way there every time I go back to Hanoi. Keep it up, Gents!

After trying their entire signature cocktails list, over 2 night, I can honestly say they have Brilliant and Creative cocktails, along with great service and atmosphere.

Most top50 bars would have a few cocktails that stimulate, give you a surprise. Nê is no different. The herb obsessed country is definitely utilizing the local flavors, using locally sourced ingredients with a local twist, pho and a few other local themed cocktails are definitely a must try. These cocktails are ranked among the top in the region and worth every penny you spend. One suggestion for the bar is the choice of snack offered
