French fine dinning. We had an amazing experience with both food and service. I had a chestnut soup which was good. A green salad with salmon which was excellent. The greens were fresh and with abundance of salmon pieces. Then I had scallops for the main course. They had a subtle taste and were nicely presented. Above all, the service was top! Our attendant was a great lady called Uyen who was attentive and a good listener while you hardly feel her presence. She offered my husband and I a complimentary starter and when we said we don’t eat ham, she quickly replaced it with fresh veg spring rolls. She said she chose veg for us because we will have salmon in the salad. So she was thoughtful and just perfect!

Very friendly staff. I came here for lunch as I was nearby and didn’t make any reservation. Staff was knowledgeable and recommended a few dishes. Had 2 cocktails - Pho and Secret Garden. I prefer Pho cocktail. Wanted something local with a bit of a twist. Ordered steamed roll with smoke salmon tapas, nasi goreng and fried vermicelli. Love love the fried vermicelli with crab meat.

We ate dinner (they have a lunch menu, so I can't judge that). The food was alright, but nothing outstanding or much memorable. There is no wine or beverage pairing. Mostly familiar pop songs were played in the restaurant. The service was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. All in all no bad restaurant, but with a price of 2 million > per person, it rates as high class restaurant and as such it has to offer way more.

A nice spacious place to meet up with people. In the winter, it's great to sit outside, too. We tried some food here and they were good, but to be honest, it's hard to choose the food on the menu because the descriptions are a bit vague.

Bring other half here for ambience and food

Very high quality foods. Truly original creation such as pho cocktail, onion soup ice/hot, pavlova ice /hot burned, and beef soup/ salads. We dine at many michelin rated restaurants and this restaurant seems far underrated perhaps due to slightly outdated music, interior and decor. Better experience than surrounding more expensive restaurants.

Had lunch here with my colleague and it was perfect. The food was amazing, very good and personalized service. Everyone has been so helpful and nice to us. Recommended

Press Club now is running a French cuisine restaurant and one luxury Lounge in 3rd floor. Open all day to anyone and overlooking the famous Metropole Hotel, eating and drinking are taken to an exciting new level. Here, in the splendid surroundings of old colonial flair, you can experience at “La Table du Chef", a unique 2 Michelin-star menu from Alain Dutournier (Paris) or enjoy at "La Plume Lounge” a choice of traditional Vietnamese dishes and the best cocktails in town from our world championship finalist mixologist, Mr Pham Tien Tiep. Images of this search result was not updated as my photos in attachment. The brand tried to contact Google to fix this problem because they lost the old gmail business account. But they have not received any feedback from Google yet. By posting this review, we hope we could inform to Google this error data and Press Club could get support from them as soon as possible.

Very nice place with great food and excellent service of friendly staff

It is an expensive bar, but the skills of the bartenders and the atmosphere of the bar justifies the price. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about spirits and cocktails.

I was really thinking about this post, because I don't like to put bad reviews but I believe this will help many people and the restaurant to improve. We came with the idea of a Michelin Star fine dining experience and everything was far away from that idea. The food flavour was lacking intensity and charisma. The service and the place itself is not bad but really far away from the real Michelin Stat places I've been. We left the place with disappointment and 120$ less in our wallets We've eaten more flavourful street food during our trip.

We came here for a drink after lunch , I ordered signature pho cocktail, it is AMAZING !! I think it is the best cocktail I ever had 🌟🌟🌟

Had the set lunch. Good selection and the food was excellent. Had cold eggplant soup, king prawns with savory cream, beef tenderloin filet and apple pie with vanilla ice-cream. Great ambience. Enjoyed it very much.

DISAPPOINTED......Me and my wife went to the Press Club in Hanoi expecting to have a great culinary experience of a lifetime as a two star Michelin chef had opened the restaurant and put his name on it. It was so disappointing. The food was not balanced properly, my wife's main course came out first and mine came out 15 minutes later. The lamb was overcooked. The food was over priced and such a lack of distinct flavor for a two star Michelin restaurant. Jackson Steak House or La Badiane food is so much better and priced too match. The dessert, Pear confit with smoked tea, dark chocolate parfait, caramel ice cream was the only exceptional item on the menu.

I had a customised cocktail here, but it tasted sucked 😭. However, the place is excellent, and the staffs are so friendly and caring. But I have to think twice about coming back

Spot was wonderful! Dining area was a bit traditional for sure. The food was amazing. Steak fillet and foie gras 10/10. Wine was on point!

Very nice staff offering the best service. The staff paid attention to my reservation note and even offered a birthday cake as a gift with a happy birthday note on the plate for us. Food was good in general. The foie gras was very nicely pan-fried (nice caramelised crispy outer layer), although the dish in my own opinion wasn’t nice overall (the fat-heavy foie gras was paired with a piece of oily deep-fried egg tofu with limited seasoning to balance the oiliness)

Imaginative, French inspired dining. A very enjoyable few hours tasting one of their set menus. Every course was a gem, difficult to decide which course was the best.

The food and the dinning area was good looking but the food was not that worth of money. I ordered 2 discovery set and was kinda disappointed. The highlights were the steak and cocktail.

Disappointing experience. Was there to celebrate my young child’s birthday and we were not informed they will turn the area into a more “lively” environment with a deejay performing his set. It was too loud and from outside, one would have mistaken the restaurant to be a club. Second, we were placed near the smoking area so when they opened the doors, the cigarette smoke wafted in which is alarming for a parent. On the flip side, the waitress Nguyen was extremely helpful and food was above average All in all, it felt overpriced since the whole point was to find a classy place to have a family celebration but we ended up having to return home for our birthday celebrations.

Food is far from the price you pay for. Smokers all over indoor while outdoor is hot. Car parking isn't convenient. Location is central but there are others nearby. Service is good, but customers don't require any special attention except the usual menu order. Not sure exactly what you pay for here.

We had dinner there on my bf birthday, food not excellent as expected, service not so nice maybe policy of restaurant we wanted have birthday song they said can not as many customers together with us, for Birthday cake they did not allow bring in but they service Birthday cake not nice as i wish even discussed with them as special day ... We both decided not come back for special day anymore

Located in the French Quarter inside the Press Club building bjustvin front the beautiful Metropole Hotel la Plume Lounge Bar is a wonderful decorated place. The atmosphere is romantic and nice and also view from the balcony is amazing. Service is really good as well the food and the drinks. Is a really good place to have a nice time with friends or as couple. The only reason I give only 4 stars instead 5 is cause is really a bit overpriced so can be really an expensive experience. Anyway should go at least one to this wonderful Lounge Bar you will surely love it!

Elegant place. If you want to find a place to relax and taste some liquor, take a chance on this. Surprisingly, I came at Sat night, but only a few customers. The price is reasonable, for my long island is 175.000 vnd.

Great bar with really interesting signature cocktails. The staff were friendly and well spoken; I want to especially thank Hai, who was working there on 31 April. He was tremendously helpful! We look forward to be back again another time.

Came here with my mom for a fine lunch. 1. Location: in the middle of Hanoi, luxury area but not too vibrant. Should come here on a sunny day to take marvellous photos on the street 2. Space: The restaurant has different areas to choose based on your interest, I chose a perfect table next to the window with an outstanding view to Sofitel Metropole Hotel across the road. Design is high-end but not overwhelmed, not too crowded. Such a perfect place for lowkey people like me. 3. Food: We got Temptation Set Menu with 3 courses, freshly start with smoked salmon salad & creamy cauliflower soup. Beef filet with red wine sauce was too good to be true. The most impressive thing was strawberry sorbet, fantastic ending. It’s was a pity that seafood quenelle failed though…the French oyster’s smell wasn’t processed well. 4. Suitable for: family, couples 5. Price: 690,000++vnd/ 3 courses (drinks excluded) Overall: definitely gonna come back to discover more
