The foods taste great! The prices are reasonable. The staff are great. It’s one of the best authentic cuisine in the old quarter! Try it yourself to believe it! 😋🥰

We ordered vege pho, summer rolls and the pancake! Leo showed us how to wrap and eat the pancake in rice paper! The food was amazing! Tasty, fresh and Leo went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience! Highly recommend!

I’m a big fan of Pho and I can tell there is something wrong with their. Not even hit the standard. Kind of disappointed. No taste in the soup at all, like they just cook in the water for me.my friend ordered the same Pho but it came later and still no taste. And after other customers sat next to our table and ordered Pho. I looked at them, they didn’t happy with their food either. Obviously, I asked them to get the fish sauce, it helped a little better. I expected it because they have cook class too. No offence but all facts. Hope you consider this review and develop your Pho menu. If your soup isn’t ready to serve better to offer other menus. Pho can not go wrong in Vietnam. Good luck!

Great atmosphere but very slow service. Didn't able to get our drinks even when we finished our meals. Foods are bit blend and pho was no good. Would not go back again.

I came here for dinner, the space is clean and the food is good, a part of the menu is in vietnamese only. There is quote a bit of meat on the menu and its delicious in general. The prices as anything in old town is a bit on the high side still low for european standarts. The service was great anna was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is good too especially for old town, but can not compare to something like aonang beach for example.

I had a great lunch here with my girlfriend. They where very polite and spoke English pretty well! Can recommend Rick he really made the experience. I messed the names of the dishes up, you can always ask for Rick😅 We had; Tofu clay viet(idk for sure)- this is a vegetable stew with tofu and egg. Tasted great especially if you like to have a healthy meal with enough vegetables. Sir fry noodle with fry flavor- there noodles are just the right amount. Not like other restaurants where the cheaper ingredients are most of the meal.

The squid was really. The coconut shrips were also good but a bit too much for me . Zin was serving us. He did a really good job to satisfy us. I can only recommend this place. Cosy atmosphere.

This place was amazing and very accommodating to my wife and I. The young man who took our order spoke very good English and helped recommend great dishes and kept the beers coming like I asked. Prices are honestly quite reasonable, but note that they are definitely more expensive than street vendors. All in all, the restaurant owner really made our evening and a great first night in Hanoi.

We have 3 orders, Coconut soup, Grill Chicken and Stir fried pork. I ordered hot lemon grass+ Ginger+ honey. It's excellent. Besides the cold weather (12°c) Overall, Zin is a really welcoming person, very good service and very GOOD ENGLISH, it's really rare to communicate with Vietnamese in English. I give him 5 stars for his service and chillis he added it into my sauce. For a Thai, like me without chillis, without life.

Madam Tran, the owner was extremely hospitable and her food variety was really good. Most importantly every dish is very tasteful and meticulously done! I would definitely come back here again! :)

Incredible Vietnamese food! We were looking for a nice restaurant after shopping in the nearby streets and couldn’t have found a better place. Definitely worth a visit! Special mention for Henry, he made sure we were well looked after!

Cute spot with plenty of meat and vegetarian options. We tried the vegetarian Vietnamese pancake. The portion was big enough for 2 people to share as a snack. Our server (Lewis) was also very friendly and chatted with us. His English was great!

Had a lovely meal here. I tried some local beers and egg coffee, had the Vietnamese pancake and beef rolled in here. Recommend to the foreigners looking for true Vietnamese food. We loved the food. We had some summer rolls and a pho and it was really delicious. You can also choose, if you want it not spicy at all or add some spice. Our waiter Jason was also very kind and courteous. He also could speak English very well. The atmosphere was great: relaxing music, beautiful decoration, fan and AC. I would definitely recommend it!

We had 5 dishes to share of Hanoi spring rolls,noodles, and extremely Yum yum buncha.Sat upstair has a great balcony where you can smoke, nice street view. Ensure to comeback! Madam Tran restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter has great service and amazing food for our vegetarian family. Really enjoyed the Rice and Eggplant Tofu and Pumpkin Soup.

We had a nice dinner at Madam Tran with some friends I met during my travels in Hanoi. Anna served us well, very kind and happy. I loved the Vegetarian options they offered.

By far the worst Vietnamese food experience we ever had. We ordered Bun Cha, coconut beef soup and beer. The meals were quickly warmed up in the microwave (it was served within 2 minutes after our order). The soup tasted not fresh and had no taste. It had also very little beef that tasted like rubber. The noodles of the Bun Cha came cold and could barely be separated from each other. The pork (if it was pork at all: question mark) was very hard to chew on. The beers did not have any foam or bubbles and it seemed to be diluted with water. The lady in charge did not seem to care at all, so we left after a few bites of the food and sips of the beer. This place does not deserve any star. Ps. Probably they know this is the worst restaurant in town, because they are online difficult to find (it is acting under various names) and yet it is rated high.

We are 7 and kids who traveled around yhe north and stop over at Madam to eat Vietnamese cuisine. It is true amazing Bun cha and noodles. We did try some once at A Newday restaurant but honestly here we found much better. Very comfy seats with street view. Priced was superb cheap, all 20 beers and foods for 8 we couldn't immagine with total costs is only 65 bucks. Very yum yum. Ensure talk to Tom, very nice boy .

I search for Best Vietnamese Foods and Best vegan restaurant near me, I found it. Best Noodles soup with beef and grilled pork rib. Yum yum spices , so fresh salad and tastiest Peach cocktail ever! Thanks Lily, she was a great staff!

Worst Restaurant we visited in Hanoi. There service was bad No cutlery was brought after we received our food and we had to get it by our self. The drinks were brought after we finished our food. I ordered a fancy dish served in a pumpkin and received some fried rice without salt served in an uncooked uneatable pumpkin. The waiter spilled my drink when I received it and my girlfriend's drink was warm. She ordered an completely different dish but reiceives the same fried rice as I did. They completely forgot the side dishes we ordered. Not recommend!

Great prices. We paid will less than $20AU for our meals (two mains and a side, plus a beer each) and couldn't finish it all! Air con, polite and a dipping sauce that was lovely.

Tried their hot pot and it was great! It can be shared between 2 to 3 people, and the taste is excellent. Service was lovely so we really enjoyed our experience. 👍

More than an expectation, all came excellence tonight since we came to until we leave. Staff Ki was so professional on giving us a nice dinner and this point was reasonable priced for our group to visit. Menu with huge choice of local dish, very clean dinning, very delicious salmon hotpot, Pork spring rolls, and yum Buncha and steamed fish. 8 of us very happy to leave with full stomach. Hanoi vegan option available restaurant 😋 One Waitress and Host can speak english and she's so kind! When I find eggs in my dish, She changes it to a dish without eggs and the host told me to tell you anything else I need. It's not cheap, but I felt like I received enough service and care

As a vegan, finding a restaurant that offers a variety of delicious vegan options can be challenging, but Madam Tran Restaurant & Cookingclass exceeded my expectations. Their vegan menu is extensive and the flavors are incredible. Highly recommend trying their vegan pho and tofu stir-fry!

Cheap Price, Amazing Restaurant 2 nights in Hanoi We chose to eat here.. All of our meals have been fabulous, only out done by the service from the amazing Tina! She suggested amazing Dishes that were authentic Vietnamese and so very tasty. It was so great getting to know her, about Hanoi and the amazing food here. Street view was so cool, we felt like local people here. Ensure to come back by chance.

My guide, Tony, was absolutely fantastic. This was such a fun experience getting to see the market and then cooking and learning about Vietnamese food, and of course most importantly getting to eat it! Everything was amazingly delicious and I loved getting to partake in making it. Tony is the kindest man and I couldn’t recommend this tour/cooking class enough —— you won’t regret it when visiting Hanoi! We tried to come here the other night but it was very busy, came back tonight and it was worth the wait! It has been the best Vietnamese food I have had whilst being here and amazing vegan and veggie options! Highly recommend the braised eggplant with coconut. Rick was also so lovely and made our experience joyous and fun
