Almost great every time. I would love to give this place 5/5 but every time we went something was just slightly off. It was our local brunch place to our hotel, so went most days for about a week. The flavours were there, especially with the smoked salmon bagel, but the food was quite inconsistent. Sometimes the bagels were overdone, bread was soggy and the burrito bowl sadly lacked flavour. The drinks were tasty, I really recommend their iced teas. All, but the last time, the staff had been lovely and we never had any reason to complain. However on our last trip we found the staff rude, and one of the bagels came out completely rock solid. There was no apology, and had to wait for another bagel for a while. Really disappointing that they’d let food leave the kitchen like this, and left us with a tainted view. Such a shame, and could’ve been dealt with way better, instead we left unhappy.

If you want a filling, tasty, Western-style breakfast then this is your place !! My group and I came here twice during our time in Hanoi and we were NOT disappointed. The only thing I would recommend is that my veggie bowl was a bit soggy from the liquid of the vegetables. They probably just needed to be drained more or pan fried for a quick second. The bread here is so good as well. The coffees were prime and the smoothies—yum 😍 Good value for money and decent portion sizes too.

TL;DR: Just good enough western breakfast/brunch food for foreigners who are craving brunch but have very limited options. The food is very mid, but it’s the best when you have no options. Friendly staff. The good: super nice staff who speak impeccable English, including one guy who basically had an American accent. While this isn’t necessary or even really relevant, the commitment to understanding foreign guests is commendable! Hash brown side is good. The bad: the chicken satay bowl left much to be desired, or, in the words of my fellow diner, “mid.” While we did substitute the chicken satay for scrambled eggs, the resulting product was truly wet and flavorless. Prices too high across the board, and it feels like you’re getting nickeled and dimed: for instance, if you ask for a little extra jam, they charge you 7.000 VNĐ — nominal, but small extras like that should be complimentary. And international credit cards carry a 2% fee and AMEX is 3%. The ugly: The avocado products, including the guacamole, are truly atrocious and completely flavorless. The guacamole is wet, soft, and slimy, and is completely unseasoned. Even though I know sodium isn’t great for our blood pressures lol, guacamole needs seasoning.

When we came in the staff told us to go upstairs, just upstairs not any specific floor(there is 2 and 3). We went to the third one cause we wanted to sit outside and on the second floor it was fully occupied. We were waiting for about 15min and nobody came. When I went downstairs to ask for somebody to take our order, they just said the third floor is closed but nobody came to us to say that or notified us about this when we came in nor there was any sign suggesting that. When we informed the waiter why nobody said it or came up to us when they knew we were sitting there waiting. His attitude was rude and no apology whatsoever. I ordered chipotle beef with pita, portions are very small nothing like the pictures. It was supposed to come with avocado smash and on the picture you can see there is none, my boyfriend got a simple grilled cheese, it was burnt, there was a lot of bread and one slice of cheese. On top of that we got donuts cause apparently they are really good. WRONG, such a scam. We got one oreo and cream and Nutella toffee. If it’s says Nutella and toffee that’s what would you expect, but the filling is made of some nasty cheap pudding. Oreo and cream are gross it’s not tasty at all, it’s just sugar with sugar no flavor. I would not recommend this place due to the rudeness of the staff and food being not good at all. Atmosphere is also so so. I’m surprised it has such a good reviews, there are way better places in Hanoi than this one where people are actually nice and food is tasty, matching the description. Overall 1/10, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Stylish All-Day-Brunch shop. Fusion Tom Yam Eggs Benedict were amazing. Good service and western price level.

Filling breakfast/brunch to keep you going! Western friendly menu - not much going on for Vietnamese options. Seating upstairs with aircon and balcony if you want open air. Coffees were really good. Loved my Vietnamese Black Coffee with condensed milk! Full English was ok - not my favourite sausage and the baked beans lacked sauce and flavour for me. Also missing mushrooms, which love with my cooked breakfasts. My Beefed up Shakshuka was delicious - but have to say it was basically a chilli con carne haha luckily I love a good chilli! Service was very efficient and helpful.

Many tourists visited this place. They have nice vibes and i would love to give them at 5/5 but the donuts & cookies were only a 2/5…. Their mains and coffee were really good and affordable!!! The filling in the donut wasn’t as dense as i expected and their chocolate chip cookie didn’t even taste like a cookie. It was dry & tasteless.

whoever put these dishes together knows flavors and how they come together. both of our breakfasts were really very delicious. the smoothies are sugar free and also made with carefully chosen combinations.. so good. we’ll be back

Greatest breakfast place in Hanoi! They have a great variety of food and are a bit American oriented food-wise. I really liked the atmosphere the staff was super nice! You need to get a donut for sure! They are super tasty and they have great sorts! Enjoyed my time here and will go when I'm again in Hanoi!

Best brunch I have ever tasted. Great food selection mostly with avocado in it. Feels healthy to be here. Amazing interior however small it is. Feels like everyone is cramped inside esp when there are too many "giant" tourists/westerners. Stairs are quite small to step on. Servers are okay and can speak English. Their doughnuts are heaven. A must try!

👍🏻 - Best brunch place in town imo! - Great portion size. I was stuffed when I got out of the restaurant! - Reasonable price for the food and service quality. 👎🏻 - The wait can be a bit crazy in Hanoi’s summer. - Table arrangements need some work.

This cafe caught our eyes the moment we saw it. So much so, we scheduled our next day’s brunch around it. Pet friendly and a great staff welcomes us to have a seat upstairs. We had a vietnamese iced coffee and a coconut cream coffee - both were great. Rich and full bodied, dark roasted and robust in flavors. Lovely - 9/10. Donuts were their star - they have pictures of it everywhere so we ordered both that were recommended - the earl grey and the salted caramel. Unfortunately, they were both overly sweet. The doughnut itself was not the lightest nor fluffiest doughnut… it felt heavy and dense. The earl grey one had a subtle tea flavor but was again quickly overwhelmed by the sweetness of the icing. 4/10 🍩 Overall Score: 6.5 ✨ ************************ Can Eat One Mehhh??? I didnt try their other brunch menus so i can’t comment on those. But i would not go for these donuts again. 😕

After looking at the reviews I was anticipating an truely overseas expensive. Bagel with cream cheese was a bread shaped correctly but not a bagel, it just wasn't a bread roll or a bagel, hard to describe but as a bagel lover a real let down. The cream cheese on the other hand was excellent. The avacado cheese sandwich, look great but the avacado needed more salt and pepper to avoid being green mush, the cheese was a lacking flavor+ net result very bland. The brisket Benedict was by far the best of the dishes, could be enhanced with some fresh onion, but otherwise pretty good.good enough to want to try Thier sister bbq restaurant. Tried the milk coffee and the salted caramel donuts the donut part a bit of a let down, the dressing though was fresh and good. Fresh orange and tea were great.

To be honest, it is hard to call Benedict cause the egg is too firm for a poached egg; it is a much more soft-boiled egg 🤷🏻‍♀️ the flavour is fair, and nothing’s special. However, the portion is quite large, and it could make you be full until late. Suitable for backpackers who are craving their home food 😄

A good place to have a brunch in Hanoi if you’re missing a melbourne style brunch. I live how they decorated the place look like Melbourne. They have a lots options in menu so its easy for people fussy like me or my vegetarian friend. One minus point is food not outstanding

Quite a nice place to grab breakfast/brunch. The cafe has a good street view. 👌 They serve different kinds of breakfast and strong Vietnamese coffee and fresh juices [must try the orange juice]. To add to that, they make donuts 🍩 too. There is a super adorable doggo 🐶 who sits right at the entrance of the cafe to get as many pets as possible.

There is some space for improvement not gonna lie, but I am talking about some little details like pepper pot didn’t work and meals could have been more salty.. I am saying this just because in restaurants like this one is, details are important because people paying a lot of money for you services. Anyway, great place, lovely food, nice personal, and that’s the most important thing! Thank you for proper breakfast that we haven’t had for a while, while we’re on our way around Asia!

First off, I appreciate the vision of this place and that they brought an all-day brunch to Hanoi. The presentation of the food and donuts are appetizing and beautiful. I just don’t feel like the quality and experience matches the higher prices. My mediocre Americano was 49,000vnd, which is more expensive then my favorite Americano from an artisan coffee shop here in Hanoi. A lot of it was spilled out on the saucer when they served it to me. The burrito bowl was tasty but nothing special. It also came with arugula, something I dislike, which wasn’t mentioned on the description on the menu. It would also be nice to have pictures on the menu or elsewhere to help decide on what to choose. The burrito bowl was 150,000vnd, reasonable. I ordered a donut to go and ate it when I came home. I didn’t take a picture because it didn’t look so great after the ride home. However, I was disappointed because it did not taste like a donut that was fried that day. I really want to like this place but I think they are more concerned about profit than quality and customer experience. Also, no Tabasco sauce or anything similar, either.

Unsurprisingly, place was filled with westerners. Grilled cheese was nice but a bit cloying. Thick layer of cheese. The bread itself was soft and tasty. Hash browns were well-seasoned. Scrambled eggs were done perfectly. Magic latte with oat milk was not too bad.

I really enjoyed the breakfast and smoothies here. I unfortunately was stuck in Hanoi for an extra unexpected week recently, and getting a different breakfast every morning was a bit of a highlight in an otherwise pretty dull day! The mango cashew smoothie is freaking great.

The donuts are below average and won't quench your craving if you're from the US and need a donut. Definitely do not get the peanut butter one. Rocky road was ok. We also got the pulled pork grilled cheese which was delish. The Kim cheese omelet was pretty good, though the bacon was served soft and cold - ew - so I sent it back. The place is expensive. They served a lot of their food cold because they pre-make it and let it sit there. That's inexcusable for a restaurant of this price in this city.

This is a tourist trap, their food is average and there are hardly any locals. It looked like most tourists came in via the high ratings, which seem to be coaxed. The juices were great, the avo toast was smelly and tasted spoilt. The waffle with cream was ok, the cream tasted sour. The scrambled eggs were average. They do not switch on the aircon most times, and the server refused to switch it on despite a request, while it was quite hot. Enjoy the sad picture of the avo toast.

Amazing bagel and 10/10 mac and cheese.. staff very friendly and served us immediately. Even though it was busy we didn’t wait long at all for food. Would definitely come back to try more options!

Fantastic brunch cafe! Awesome food, great coffee, good vibes! The only downside is their poached eggs are a lil hard (despite requesting for runny). But their scrambled eggs were amazing!

Lovely place! We had to wait about 10 - 15 mins to be seated so if you’re not keen to wait I suggest calling to reserve a booking :) The coconut ice coffee is amazing. For lunch we had the Sautéed Cauliflower salad & the Nourish Salad 🌱 portions are a good size. Waiters were friendly :)

Everything from the space, decor and lighting in this place is pleasing. They had space heaters on the upstairs patio so you can dine alfresco without being cold and fans for warmer weather. The menu is awesome and the food was absolutely delicious. It can be difficult to find western food that's still yummy and maintains that western vibe and this checked all the boxes. Their donuts are also the closest to what we know from home. Really yummy.

Tasty dishes, really big portion so be cautious of the number of dishes you would love to order if travel solo. I tried Balsamic salad, Avoca cheese toast and Pink Grapefruit/mint beverage. All really good ☺️ Highly recommend.

We had a bagel/ grilled cheese & cinnamon rolls when we visited. The food was very good, but a little on the expensive side. A great place for back packers/ tourists for a quick lunch, but not many tables. Service is very quick and efficient. I’ve seen some bad reviews on here about the avo on toast- personally, I saw someone else in the cafe have one while we were there, and it looked fine.

Good place I used to go while I was living here in Hanoi. I recently came back while on holidays. Still as good as it used to be. Welcoming young staff, good food , use of bamboo to replace plastic.

This place has a good location - right inside the Old Quarter areas. It would be nice to sit in the balcony of 2nd floor, but the other seats are not very well-designed and quite uncomfortable in my opinion. The food is not so delicious but the idea behind is fine. I believe this place still has potential to improve in the future.

I’ve tried almost everything here and they were all good. I ordered tomyum benedict the last time I came here and was a bit disappointed as it tastes like the spice in vietnamese instant noodles if I’m not wrong 😳 anyway, good service + excellent brunch + yummy donuts 🥰

Great western breakfast place. Offers a good selection of options including combinations such as English breakfast and pancakes which is good. Decent value. Busy when we went around 10am on a weekday but still got a table straight away.

Best western breakfast in Hanoi! Food was great! We had Eggs Benedict with pulled pork on toast and a cheese and pulled pork grilled toastie both 10/10. Donut was also Amazing probably the best donut I’ve ever eaten

The restaurant is very cute however the personnel is rude. I ordered an avocado cheese toast and a cinnamon roll. The avocado toast was unseasoned and not that good. The cinnamon roll was maybe old since the crust was very hard. Tbh for the price you pay, they should at least offer a better service.

  • 4/5 Lidia S. 1 year ago on Google
Portions are big, if you want try something less Asian (after certain time some of us do need it) it's a good choice. The place is really popular, we had to wait in a line for 20 minutes. I cannot say I were fascinated with the food...I mean not bad, but... and for that price (breakfast for 2 with cofee and donut) in Vietnam you could have more. We have a bread with avocado and eggs (good), salmon bagel (as I'm a salmon lover I was disappointed a little, expected more, but there were enough salmon), cheese sandwich (could be good if the bread pieces were not so thick)

  • 5/5 Holic J. 1 year ago on Google
It's yum! Especially, the bread tastes great! It's fresh, soft, and moist enough!👍 I love to come back another time soon. Oh! Remember this. If you pay with credit card, they'll charge 2% more on your bill.

  • 5/5 Bil C. 1 year ago on Google
Great western menu with some nice differences. Pork Eggs Benedict with beet hummus were delicious as was the caramel macchiato. Could go back many times to try other tempting choices. Busy place...we had a short wait.

  • 4/5 Dhruv K. 4 years ago on Google
Must say is a great place for a brunch. The place is pretty packed always so expect a little wait. The staff is happy to get you seated. They tend to go away after taking your order so either press the bell for more service or just catch them as they pass you by. The portions are not the biggest I have seen but are filling. The food is tasty and served hot and fresh. If you like doughnuts better order them quick they sell like hot cakes.

  • 4/5 Elsa F. 1 year ago on Google
Great brunch spot. Quick service, reasonable portions, delicious food AND they have an option for oat milk which I haven’t seen much in Vietnam. Highly recommend the pulled pork eggs Benedict and wouldn’t recommend the hash browns as they are a bit dry. It is a little on the pricier side for Hanoi (hence the 4 stars).

  • 5/5 Em 1 year ago on Google
Great brunch place, loads of different options on the menu. Great coffee and tasty doughnuts. Nice atmosphere and quick service. Popular with westerners, more on the expensive side but that’s what the place offers. Went again the next day- that says it all I think!

  • 3/5 Emily M. 1 year ago on Google
A queue to get in when we arrived which is always a good sign. We were seated after a couple of minutes of waiting and our orders were taken promptly. We ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and the pulled duck sandwich. If you don’t like fatty meat don’t order the duck, it was meant to be shredded meat but didn’t come like that. The coffee was delicious as was the grilled cheese. Definitely would come back but would order something different.

This place is amazing, we came here three times, as our hotel was just round the corner. The quality of the food is great, portions are huge, we were never able to finish 😁 and the staff are really professional and hardworking. We once came during Sunday rush and the waiters remembered everything, taking orders and amendments on the go, running up and down. Even though the place was packed, the service was still speedy. Hats off to the staff!

Food was awful. Ordered a salmon and cream cheese bagel and had to leave it all as it tasted strange. Food looked horrid too, the cream cheese had just been squirted on and there was no effort to try and make it look nice. Requested for it to be taken back to the kitchen, at which they said they don’t take back food and handed it back to me. Was charged for it and a complete waste of money. Coffee was nice enough.

👍👍 It's such a great and wonderful Pizza 🍕 😋 I ever have. I can't explain how wonderful it is. Also Spaghetti 🍝 😋 was so good. They cooked 80% for the spaghetti. For half chicken teriyaki and half 4 cheeses, is such a very good smell from the charcoal stove. It's very harmonized tasted in one full...
