My Fiancé and I went on this amazing tour last night and we were so lucky to have Patrick and Chris guide us around the old quarter. It was our first day in Hanoi and it was the best decision going on this tour. The city can be intimidating so I am certain that without their help we would have missed out on eating these incredible local dishes. Patrick and Chris were so friendly and explained lots of history and gave us tips and tricks for surving in the city. Highly reccomend booking tours with them!

Communication with the agency was easy via whatsapp. We did the Vegan Food Tour Hanoi and had a good time. Our Guide showed us around Hanoi Old Quarter and let us try all kind of different vegan Street food dishes, and also explained us how we can order vegan dishes.

We had the best food tour from Kelly! She has excellent English, was really friendly and told really interesting stories. We asked loads of extra questions and she gave us so much information! The food was amazing and we were in a nice size group of 6 people. Kelly sorted everything out for us, it was really easy and fun. Thank you!

We booked this tour as we wanted to try a local cuisine and street food which was very hard due to not knowing the language. Derek took us to 7 different places, and adjusted it to our dietary needs and also avoiding the places which we already visited. Besides explanations about the food, he also provided us with some information about the history, culture and the city. I highly recommend booking this tour.

Book this on your first day in Hanoi so you know where is good to eat. Great selection of local foods and some of the history of old Hanoi. Kenny is a fantastic guide, friendly and patient. We did a private street food tour with Ha (Betia) as our guide. She was very knowledgeable, we learnt so much about the food and culture in Hanoi during our tour. She was very friendly so we had a great time chatting with her and all of the food we tried along the way was excellent. It was great value for money and would highly recommend!

My excellent food guide, Chung is a dynamic, thoughtful and detailed tour guide. He showed us much variety of foods as well as an egg chocolate and desert at the end. His enthusiasm and care about his guests shined through his food explanations. Def recommend a food tour when visiting Hanoi!

My fiance and I went on this tour last night for my birthday. Minh came and grabbed us from our hotel and we went and got the rest of the group. From the very beginning, Minh was bubbly, friendly and very welcoming. He made sure to ask us all if we had any allergies or foods we really didn't like so that he could make sure he was taking us so places that would suit us all. He shared a lot of history and local tips, which we really enjoyed, and even organised a surprise birthday cake for me and the group. Very sweet! The food and drinks we tried were all delicious! What a great time! My wife and I are traveling through Southeast Asia on our honeymoon. Chris was our tour guide for a Street Food tour and he was absolutely excellent! We are both foodies and Chris knew ALL the best spots to eat. Such an excellent array of different foods for us to try tailored to our preferences. And it wasn’t just a good tour. Chris basically included a mini tour of Old Town Hanoi with history behind each thing he showed us. This is a MUST DO ITEM in Hanoi. You’ll leave with a full belly AND mind. Can’t say enough about this young man and his tour. 10/10 would do again!

Quality vs Food Tour template - for the same price. Chris of Hanoi (actually from Hanoi) showed us how locals live in the old quarter, 8 family owned restaurants and the best dishes of each, and giving us lots of little facts about Hanoi and his neighborhood. Even got some fresh beer and eggroll stop. Best part was he shared a complete list of everywhere we went and other recommendations afterwards. Wonderful tour!

One the highlights of our Hanoi trip. Nice walking tour trying tons of different foods. Was able to customize the tour based on foods we had already tried, what we wanted more of, and Chung did a great job gauging how adventurous our group was willing to be (e.g. sandworm pancakes!). Saw some live music and Hanoi night life! Definitely recommend.

The street food tour with Minh was really amazing! We got to try so many different foods (savory and sweet) and we went to places which I would have never found before. I am Vegetarian and therefore always a bit hesitant to go to street food places without speaking the language, but we had at every stop great vegetarian food (next to the meat/fish ones) and I could more than enjoy the tour. Minh was a great tour guide - he went over and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, told us a lot about Hanoi and the food, and has a great sense of humour! Thanks Minh!

We booked a private food tour as we thought we may miss out on some of the best food spots in Hanoi without help from a local guide. Lucky was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He picked us up from our hotel, spoke perfect English, checked if we had any specific dietary requirements or allergies and provided great insights to the history of Hanoi and some tips for navigating the busy city. The food destinations were fantastic, the tour was well paced and thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city for the first time

Had a great time walking the streets of Hanoi’s Old Quater, it was a great way to soak in the culture and eat some of the local cuisine . Minh was a knowledgeable guide, he was entertaining and flexible with our food preferences. I highly recommend this walking tour.

Amazing Street Food - 10/10 Experience! We had a great time with Linh on the tour: we were able to try smaller potions of a lot of different dishes and tried some amazing specialities we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Linh made sure to check any allergies or preferences we had and gave us a lot of tips and tricks on the side. We really enjoyed our time with here and even visited a few of the places again after the tour. She also gave us a list of restaurants in other cities! Recommended!

Booked the private tour - it was an excellent experience with our guide Mint. She was friendly and personable, brought us to many different food areas and gave quite a bit of local insights (even walking us through the back alleys to see the real quieter Old Quarter neighbourhood for local residents!) Besides sending us the itinerary after, she even sent other local recommendations and places to go. It was a very delicious experience, I highly recommend it as a great way to experience the Old Quarter and Hanoi food with a local. Prepare your bellies as you’ll be eating A LOT! (4 mains, 2 snacks and 2 desserts)

Jenny was an amazing tour guide. She was thorough and prompt. She made sure we had a table to sit at each place. The food selection was delicious. Started with 2 appetizer dishes and then 3 main dishes then egg coffee and a visit to a sweets shop. There was even fresh beer that was light and refreshing.The portions were great as they were not full sized so there was room for all of the stops. She gave us a little history of the restaurants and Hanoi along the way. My favorites were the summer rolls, dry pho, and bun cha. Jenny even provided recommendations for any questions we had about the city and places to visit. It’s great the tour has a limited number of participants. Anything more than 6-8 people would be too many for the local restaurants. Highly recommend this tour.

Simply a great way to discover delicious street foods in Old Hanoi. Both adults and kids will love it. Ask for Bob, he’s a great tour guide with lots to share not only about food of course but also about Vietnamese culture.

Great tour. Went to places that we would never have tried on our own. The food quality was better than expensive restaurants. All our family enjoyed, including a vegetarian.

Our private Foodie Tour through the Old Quarter was a fantastic way to introduce us to some of the Hanoi classics and local cuisine we wouldn’t find otherwise. Our guide, Rocky, met us in the reception of our hotel and we set off on a culinary food adventure. Rocky was incredibly knowledgeable about food, Hanoi and Vietnam. The evening spent with him was fantastic. We visited 8 stops in total and were amazed and satisfied with the local street food we sampled. We learnt so much about what we enjoyed (and what we didn't) and we went back to many of the places he introduced us to over our next days in Hanoi to experience the amazing street food flavours and quality.

Such a great tour and experience.....definitely must do while in Hanoi....it's so much more than a food tour , its food, history, culture and everyday stories of Vietnamese people....a must do

Great value! Fantastic food and history experience! Chung was a very knowledgeable tour guide. He explained the story behind each of the meals. There was a wide variety of food provided which was very tasty and very filling. Each meal was different from the last. Chung also answered all of our questions about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people. In between meals, he brings you to interesting areas of Hanoi Old Quarter, and explains more about the Vietnamese way of life. Highly recommend! Go with an empty stomach. There is A LOT of food. 😁

Minh was wonderful; she began by asking us what we had already tried and what we would like to try. She then tailored the tour accordingly. All the food was delicious and varied and there was lots of it (more than we could manage). Minh’s English is excellent too and she is personable. Highly recommend!

This was just an incredible time. Fun and delicious. Rosie was an exceptional guide, with a great sense of humor, great grasp of the English language and an expert in Hanoi culture. Not only that she could drive the Vespa like a genius!

Went on a tour with Tony, he was an excellent guide. Customized to our likes and appetites, and was also able to show us a lot of the behind the scenes culture in the Old Quarter. Was also super accommodating of our being late heh. This was a perfect way to start our trip to Vietnam

We had a lovely time with Derek, navigating through the lanes of Old Quarter, having some of the best food we had on our trip. Derek is extremely professional, warm and knowledgeable about food and history. His cheerful personality puts everyone at ease in the group and it feels like a food tour with friends. My wife is a vegetarian and Derek was able to help us with veg friendly options of the food we had on the tour. Highly recommended !
