Booked this hotel but didnt have an opportunity to stay because of the renovation. Communication is terrible, as I wasn't proactively contacted about the delayed renovation, luckily I accidentally found out myself

Almost brand new after a refurb. Was fairly quiet and the staff were friendly and very keen to help and provide good service. A few teething issues to sort out but will come good I am sure. GM is positive and personable. Well worth a visit!

Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi is located in Hoan Kiem, a neighborhood in Hanoi, and is in the city center and near a train station. Hanoi Opera House and Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's notable landmarks include St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hanoi Old City Gate. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's going on at My Dinh National Stadium. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including outlet shopping.

Beautiful hotel, our room was very cold on arrival but the staff brought us a portable heater. The chocolate hour is great. The breakfast is very good. The staff are outstanding

Friendly staff and great service overall. Excellent breakfast. However, I am disappointed with the cooking class the hotel helped book for my company along with the taxis back home to the hotel that wouldn't give us any receipts. But everything within the hotel was great. And your employee Ha always had a smile on her face and made everyone smile with her small talk when serving us coffee during our breaks. I hope you take good care of her and help her with her dreams of attending a hotel management school. regards Andreas

Your hotel is absolutely money for value. Your breakfast is superb with a good spread of western and locals. Your room and bed are very good. The afternoon high-tea and chocolate is the highlight of the stay. I would have given you a perfect 10 if not for the croissant which I think can be improved further and be 'the icing on the cake'. Your hotel provides free city map which is good, but I would like to suggest that you should include pictorial representation of places of interest, tourist sports, mini market etc.

The staff at Movenpick Hanoi are some of the friendliest and most welcoming my family and I have come across during our travels. All staff members we came across smiled and greeted us throughout our stay. As a Platinum ALL member we were given private check in as well as access to the Executive Lounge, including breakfast, chocolate hour, a light dinner and drinks, which was appreciated by us all, especially the kids. The pool and gym were outstanding, the rooms comfortable and the location central and within walking distance of the Old Quarter. Thank you to the staff for making our stay and experience memorable.

This is my second time staying at the hotel, same great feeling, the staff are delegated to Make Moment and it's done. The hotel looks super clean, the whole team especially F & B are very helpful. Lots of choices for breakfast with excellent taste. We can feel the effective leading skill from the General Manager. BRAVO!

The hotel is located just slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi city and proves to be convenient and accessible. On arrival the lobby is somewhat small but acceptable in design, you'll notice that the drive in will not be suitable for large buses, where I suspect the rooms are quite limited. The rooms though are welcoming, reasonably sized and cosy enough. Showers only in my room, and I particularly liked the flooring. Bed was a little hard for me and sheets were somewhat rough. Probably should get some better quality ones with high thread counts. Gym was nice with great selection of weights and machines. Breakfast spread was average. Would have hoped for more variety. Overall the hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The staff at the hotel are really warm, kind and professional. I loved the breakfasts. Many good hotels have a buffet, but usually it's the same food every day. I have happy that the warm vegetable menu changes daily. The soap, shampoo, etc. have a very nice aroma. The location is also good - close enough to the French Quarter to walk, but not in the center of the noisy traffic and sometimes dirty streets with puddles. The only caution I would have is not to recommend the hotel to a REALLY old person who has difficulty walking because getting in and out of the shower/bath requires good balance and strength.

The hotel is in a GREAT location. The room decor, amenities, service were excellent. My husband and I are very happy to stay in the king suit for 1 night. They also arranged beautiful fresh roses and some fruits for us. Thanks so much for everything. We enjoyed our stay very very much.

Mövenpick is located in the center of Hanoi, within 1.4km big shopping markets and shops, Lake, old city and dozens of Cafes and street food opportunities to see the traditional vitnamese food and meet new people.

Of course I love this hotel and everything in the area because I spent 10 years of my childhood right in front of nowadays Movenpick hotel, in number 68 Ly Thuong Kiet street…🥰 So much emotion came in while staying in Movenpick and looked out to the old home…

Nice hotel. The room is not modern but very comfortable. Good breakfast with the traditional Phở, either beef or chicken. Croissant was crispy and well baked. The best is the location. It's not so close to the old district but within walking distant to shops that I like, giò chả Quốc Hương, bún chả Hàng Mành, bánh cuốn Hàng Gà, or Ngon villa restaurant.

Service was great. Room was clean and spacious. 99.9% of the Hotel staffs are very professional Only 2 minor issues 1) One of the staff, standing near the door with a coat, was quite rude when he mentioned entitlement for water is only 2+2. Neither could he understand when i requested for toothpaste and change of towel. Because of his poor command of English, he couldn't understand when i told him i have NO housekeeping thus i will not to be able to receive the above. This person is neither the polite staff by the counter nor the the staff that open doors for hotel guest. He will affect hotel image. My advice to the travelers, only communicate with the counter staff to prevent someone spoiling your day as he was quite rude (assuming you are sensitive). From my observation for the past 4 days, his role is definitely not related to communication, perhaps for a reason. 2) Hotel guaranteed taxi - took a longer route. Problem was solved, however it does affect the image of the hotel. Took GRAB after this incident. My advice to hotel guest, use grab.

Excellent Hotel in Hanoi. Best customer service and service mind from Front desk, bell and operator. I was very impressed when I entered to the hotel. The staff is very friendly always ready to help especially the girl from receptionist. Location is easily to find and very convenient. I've recommend this hotel many time to my friend and my family. I will book this hotel again and again when I have a trip go to Hanoi. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Keep doing well .

I stayed at this hotel 7 years ago. The impression at that time was very good and I stayed again this time. The inside of the hotel and the room are clean and very calm. I will use it for my next stay in Hanoi.

In the room ,no slipper, no hygienic tools (toothbrush, shaving). All service is the best except check in and check out are very slow. I really like the Front deck manager and Food & beverage manager. They are really have fast action and service.
