. Traditional desserts, no fuss, lots to choose from. Whats not to like? Coconut milk base, with tonnes of treats you can add such as tapioca pearls, yam and sweet potato jellies, grass jellies, mung beans, sago and many more. Im usually used to the jellies being a little more firm and less gooey, but i can learn to enjoy this style too. The overall dessert is not too sweet which makes it very palatable and refreshing. A great bowl for a hot days out in Hanoi. ✨ Overall score: 8/10 ✨ ******************************* Can Eat One Mehhh??? 🫶🏻 Yes!! Also the shopkeeper lady is very friendly and is fluent in English. 🤭

A really lovely place for dessert!! I stumbled across this dessert place on the way back from bun cha. The shop is sooo cute and the desserts sound so good we had to try! My Sister and I shared the caramel mixed bowl as we were already full however we devoured the bowl within seconds! They are friendly and have really quick service. All the desserts we saw other people order looked lovely! If you are looking for a tasty dessert or drink i really recommend!

It's a small shop, probably a house cum shop. We missed it and were searching where the shop is 😆 We tried Traditional and Caramel with Ice Cream. Both were very good. Lady who takes orders and prepares desserts knows little English. You have option to sit inside the room or outside on the footpath on their low stool and table as the locals do. Great place to have taste of Vietnamese desserts

Found this place on Google. It’s the local Vietnamese dessert. Just chilling and sitting outside like a local. Really nice place to hang. Prices are affordable too. They gave you extra ice if you find it too sweet. Overall I will recommend tourist to visit this place. Worth a try.

Yummy spot for dessert! I personally recommend the durian one for 35,000d. Very flavourful but not overpowering. The traditional one was good too, 25,000d. The toppings taste delicious. You can add more ice if it’s too sweet.

really yummy traditional dessert bowls for great prices ranging from 20k~40k each, refreshing drinks at 20k-30k each. Really enjoyed their caramel mixes bowl - the caramel flan was silky smooth and a light intensity creamy. Their other jelly was nice and tasted fresh too! Really cute setting and seems pretty hygienic. Recommended!

Cute dessert place serving delicious jelly-yoghurt-condensed milk – the owner lady speaks no English, but her daughter came to help. You can order off the menu or make up your own as you want.

It is really really yummy, for those who like durian I suggest you can order the durian flavored ! The dessert bowl all has alot of cool stuff inside , like pearl and some jelly like things. It’s all yummy! The caramel flavored is actually vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce , the pudding is REALLY nice !! 🥹🥹 They let you add the ice yourself quite weird hahahaha but all in all it’s really good !

Amazing Che Thai. We had the mix bowl one and it was very nice and refreshing with jellies , fruits and milk. It was so good that we came back another night to try out more. We had durian bowl and hot taro and cassava. Both were delicious. The place is also very cute and clean. The price range is also reasonable.

Was happy to see this little shop survived through COVID. This was one of the early dessert shops which I had patronised since 2016. No change to her menu. Not your typical Vietnamese desserts you'll find in Che shops. Ordered the Caramel Mixed bowl for 30,000₫. A fusion of modern day jellies with Flan. The owner hasn't changed one bit 😊😂

Cute Place, with different jelly/bean bowls and ice cream bowls. Had the caramel bowl and really liked it. The bowl was my highlight in texture, the kumquat-green tea in taste.

I highly recommend this little place for an alternative fresh tasting dessert. The flavour was spot on and the lady that works there is such a nice person also. I will be a return customer for sure! If you dont know what to get, try the Mixed Durian Bowl.👍

Your enjoyment of this dessert depends on how much you enjoy sago soup (it's a sweet dish). As it's essentially the same thing but with other ingredients added on top. The store is owned by a very friendly lady, however she doesn't speak English so prepare to be clear about what you want (point at the menu). It's an interesting dessert and worth trying, but a little over hyped in my opinion. Again, do remember I'm not the biggest sago soup fan. I know people who are though and they would probably cross a mile long moped packed Vietnamese road to get here.

3 bowls. Nice dessert. Not to sweet. Just the chairs are low. Younger pretty lady boss speaks English. Older lady boss no English. Menu not expensive. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic desert place in central Hanoi. I tried it 3 different times and the combinations were wonderful. I thought the caramel option was going to be sickly sweet, but it actually contained a subtly sweet 'creme caramel 'Unbelievably cheap for what you get, an absolute find. BTW the dessert looked a lot better than this at the beginning. Wonderful!

Try the Caramel Bowl and it tastes good, suitable during day and afternoon. Not too sweet, the flan balance the sugar. They also provide ice to lessen the sweet factor. The owner is very nice and helpful too.

Cute dessert place. I had the Durian che which was delicious and full with different toppings. The staff is friendly and they have WiFi.

At first I was a bit sceptic, because it looks different from what I normally call a dessert. It is SO GOOD! I came here twice. Nice staff and nice place as well. Great vegan options.

This dessert was amazing! It’s very different from what we are used to eat outside Asia, and it’s not so sweet which I loved. The staff were amazing.

Perfect place to have a dessert. I chose the one with durian and it was delish. They asked me if I ever had durian before, and that was thoughtful of them. The bowl had many interesting ingredients, so it wasn't the same texture throughout.

Small but cosy dessert place tucked between two arterial streets. Had the traditional mixed bowl dessert which which came with a separate bowl of ice to keep it cool. Inexpensive escape from the heat.

Came I here twice in two days. Sweet Banana (20k) and caramel Ice cream (30k). Cheap and yummy!

Durian mix bowl is delicious, durian is fresh and helps to sweeten the otherwise bland mixed addons.

Little Bowl was amazing, I think we went here every day we were in Hanoi! The owner is absolutely lovely and the bowls were delicious, perfect thing for a hot day or a warm night.

Very cute little shop with outdoor seating, tried the traditional and caramel bowl, both were really good, the jellies delicious and ice comes on the side which is a plus. The owner was very sweet and spoke a fair amount of English. If you like cold Vietnamese dessert soup, give it a try, it's worth it ;)

Chè is delicious and the place is very cozy. Store owners are very kind as well. Came back all 3 nights I was in Hanoi to try a different one each time and they do not disappoint. The caramel kem is a must try! Can be a bit pricey for VN prices but it is worth the extra 5000-10000 vnd

A lovely place to try Vietnamese traditional dessert. They offer a variety of dishes and drinks. I tried a mixed one with durian - it is super delicious! I ended up going there again the day after. The owners are so friendly. The shop is well-decorated with a lovingly-painted map of Hanoi on the wall.

Really delicious little dessert shop! Was craving some glutinous rice balls with ginger sauce, and this place delivered an amazing version of that dish. Quaint atmosphere, with really friendly gals working there. Served warm, with a cup of tea, couldn't ask for anything better on a cold night. Loved this not too sweet dessert.

Cute little dessert store, caramel mixed bowl with ice cream (bottom left in picture) was delicious! Store also provides additional bowl of ice in case dessert bowls are too sweet for you and you want to dilute it!

I had the Caramel Kem and Sūa Chua. Both were very good although I am not a dessert person. What I appreciated even more, and the reason I am writing this review, was the kindness of both women working here tonight. It was the best service I had so far in Vietnam. I instantly felt welcomed and the atmosphere was incredibly inviting and calm such that I didn't want to leave. If I had the choice to visit only one location in Hanoi, I would pick this place without hesitation.

Such a lovely dessert! I got the Caramel Mixed Bowl with Ice Cream — the ladies of the shop are very kind and attentive. The shop is quaint with a lot of charm, and it is easy to access. I encourage you to give it a try!

Delicious deserts in a lovely place We had the Caramel Mixed Bowl with the Lemongrass kumquat tea. Both were very tasty and not too sweet. The place was decorated with care, and the owners were nice and welcoming. We’re certainly hoping to come back!

Really great spot for a cold treat — came here 2 nights in a row. We ate the durian bowl, caramel mixed bowl with ice cream, and the traditional bowl. All really great and the ladies that work here are fast and sweet. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Hanoi.

My friends and I really enjoyed the traditional desserts this place had to offer. Will recommend the traditional mixed bowl and the kumquat lemongrass tea! Both were exceptionally good. The place is old but tourist friendly and was run by a nice lady all by herself.

Cosy little dessert joint which we stopped by to try the Mixed Durian Bowl. Could definitely have a tad more durian paste/flavor but overall was very enjoyable. Yogurt with Jackfruit dessert was tasty, jackfruit slices were sweet and fragrant! As other reviews mentioned, these bowls are the right amount of sweet 😋 Only downside is their toilet is located in a dark alley next to the entrance (and it's not quite clean so we gave it a miss).

My favourite dessert place in Vietnam. Lovely lady creating delicious desserts. Loved the caramel mixed bowl with ice cream. We came here so many times! Quick service and we can see that she really loves doing this! Great wifi too!

This is one of best little shops that serves enormous ecstacy for having really worth the calories desserts in all of hanoi. A must try while you're here. And if you're staying at classy holiday hotel and spa it's stones throw away!

👍 Pancakes are fluffy (which is the main reason why people come here to eat). I ordered the classic ones and butter cream.
