St. Joseph Cathedral is an architectural gem nestled in the heart of Hanoi. As you step onto the cobblestone courtyard, you're greeted by the grandeur of this Gothic-style cathedral, with its towering spires reaching towards the sky. The interior is equally breathtaking, with intricate stained glass windows casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the nave. Whether you're here for worship or simply to admire the craftsmanship, St. Joseph Cathedral offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of Hanoi. Don't miss the chance to visit this historic landmark during your time in Hanoi. It's truly a must-see destination for architecture enthusiasts and spiritual seekers alike.

Beautiful church in the heart of Hanoi. Such a tall external european style external structure. Inside there are big side altars and the main one. Closes @ 7pm. There are services in the evening but in Vietnamese. Nice quiet place to come and pray before you get back to exploring Hanoi

Lovely, solemn English language mass today (Sunday) at 11:30am. The grounds and the building itself are quite a sight, standing out with its gothic architecture from the surroundings. The inside is quite grand when lighted up. There were a lot of places to light candles with donation boxes but i was unable to find any candles to light🥴 Located within the old quarter with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood.

The rather brutal looking exterior belies the lovely, but generally simple interior. You enter through the small entrance to the right of the building as you look at the front of the building.

It's nice place for sightseeing around center tourist area of Hanoi. It's close from Hoan Kiem Lake and many cafe and restaurant surrounding this area. The church is beautiful with old europe design. The building and area not too big so it's good place for stop by and take Hanoi typical photo.

Lovely cathedral. Beautiful architecture and the interiors are nice too, many altars. I attended French Mass here and it's very reverent. There are small TVs for the text so that you can follow along. The Sunday Vietnamese Masses are very crowded. There is also a store on the left side outside the cathedral. Do note to dress appropriately and be respectful when you enter. Please do not start walking about and using your phone when Mass is in session. Current Mass schedule are as follows in the picture:

St. Joseph Cathedral in Hanoi is a captivating blend of French Gothic architecture and cultural significance. The towering spires and intricate details create a majestic atmosphere, offering a serene escape from the bustling city. The interior, adorned with beautiful stained glass windows and religious artwork, exudes a sense of spiritual tranquility. The cathedral's historical importance adds another layer to its charm, making it a must-visit landmark in Hanoi.

Saint Joseph Cathedral in Hanoi has been assigned as the cathedral of the archdiocese, The cathedral was built in 1886 in neo-Gothic style. This church is worth stopping by, especially at night when it is lit up. The next was a rock grotto surrounding Jesus and Mary. I also recommend visiting the gift shop inside.

One of the beautiful churches in Hanoi, Vietnam. We, as Catholics from Thailand, have a chance to get inside the church on the day we visited because there was pre-wedding rehearsal. It is a really grand, great and holy place. We also prayed and took some pictures.

In Hanoi, this amazing place of worship, brings the youth to sing, pray and celebrate their freedom to profess the Catholic religion. The architecture, from the French colonial times, has left a jewel to be admired. I certainly did. Montserrat 2022.
