I have attached the picture of the regulations at the entrance of the Mausoleum and there is nothing saying that! So I have spend 1 hour waiting my city tour for this stupidity! I would no recommend visit that the security were very unfriendly saying baby not cannot wall? What does this means ? You are working in a mausoleum and is unable to speak international language English ? What the heck !!!! Families do give a try to this thing it’s a complete waste of times ! Cheers!

Bac Son Monument is a war memorial monument to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for freedom and independence of the country. It can be viewed from Bac Son Street, opposite the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, next to Thang Long Royal Citadel and Ba Dinh Square. No entrance is allowed to the war monument. Visitors may only view from the gate or take picture there.

I wore modest shorts and shirt long enough to have been accepted into all temples and pagodas, but not good enough to go see a monument and pay respect. Disgusting.

If you're into spatial design, then this monument will fit the bill. It is beautifully and simply designed and perfectly aligned to the Mausoleum.
