I must have passed with tiny, beautiful temple a dozen times. The bridge and entrance way is very pretty and the plants inside give a very calm and peaceful atmosphere

The ancient Cau Nhi Temple, also known as Thuy Trung Tien Temple, is located about 30m from Thanh Nien Street with a beautiful campus, surrounded by many ancient trees with a green stone bridge embossed with an arc-shaped dragon and phoenix connecting from Thanh Nien Street leading to the three-entrance gate. Ancient legends say that the temple is embedded with legends and folk beliefs related to the event of King Ly Thai To (974 - 1028) ascending the throne and moving the capital to Thang Long. According to some books, before Ly Cong Uan became king, there was a dog in Co Phap continent (now in Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province) that gave birth to a white puppy with black spots forming the two words "Thien Tu". with this (because King Ly was born in the year of the Dog). From there, the King built a shrine behind the shrine and moved it to Truc Bach lake island and exists to this day.

Really beautiful. Gorgeous view of the lake. The templekeeper had a cat who just gave birth to some kittens

Cute little ornate temple on a small island. The dog there barks but is very friendly and was happy when I gave him a scratch behind the ear. He licked my palm in gratitude. He is on a chain. Good break from more crowded places. Nearby many cafes for coffee.

A lovely small temple in an island in Truch Back Lake. Their is a bridge you need to cross to get there. Though the water below the bridge was dirty at that time. This temple is near the Tran Quoc Pagoda so you can visit both places in an hour.

it is a feeling to be here either for a short visit or a long picture taking session According to an ancient legend, this place was built by King Ly Cong Uan to worship the pair of mother dogs and puppies who became gods. When the puppy is born, there are spots on its fur that combine to form the word "Son of Heaven" corresponding to King Ly Cong Uan's accession to the throne. In 1980, the old temple was demolished to make a playground and warehouse. After that, this place was once used as a refreshment shop. The temple restoration project was approved by the city in 2014 and was implemented in 2015. However, when the temple was inaugurated, the Management Board decided to give the temple a new name, Thuy Trung Tien temple, and no longer call it Cau Nhi as before. We didn't visit it because it was already closed. But the image from the outside, with the beautiful bridge that connects the islet to the mainland, is very aesthetic.

A temple was built on a small island in the lake, with a quiet environment and a lot of incense.

This was by far the best temple I visited in Vietnam. It’s located on a small land surrounded by a lake. There aren’t many people who visit it, and there are some cute puppies and birds inside the compound. It was very quiet and well-preserved. After paying my respects, I could just go and sit in the back and stare at the lake, traffic, and surroundings.

What a quiet little oasis which we stumbled across accidentally while we were on our way to the tourist trap across the road. Not a soul in sight. Beautiful, small, peaceful.
