We had a reservation for an Executive Suite for two nights, and after been charged even with the extra 3% commission for using the credit card at the time the check in, they gave us an Standard Room because no rooms available that day and tomorrow we will see ( as they told us) Next day the manager offer to change to the room we booked and one night difference in rate (obviously teen cents) only if we don’t give them a bad review online Anyway, Standart rooms not clean, very small and missing a lot of everything The Executive suite nice space but not even for a quarter of the price we paid The best part of the Stay was leaving!!!! Beside our bad experience in the same block you have much better options and even better visually cleaner! They are not honest for what they offer

Pros: The location is highly convenient, right in the middle of the old quarter. The room is relatively small, but my overall experience is still okay. Some staff are incredibly nice, but some are not. I really like the female receptionist without glasses. Her English is good, and she is willing to provide info regarding the surrounding areas. Cons: Not many breakfast choices. Be aware to come early, if you come late around 9.00-9.30.(breakfast serves until 10.00) the food runs out, and the staff won’t assist anything with it. I have one additional comment; one side of the closet cannot be opened, and I don’t know what is inside, so I asked the receptionist (the female with glasses), and she couldn’t explain anything or even reassure the guest. I don’t think it will be something terrible inside, or it might be just the design, but I think the staff should handle this situation better and provide enough info.

Despite been a simple and unassuming hotel, location is Superb, close proximity to main central tourist area. 👏 Service and breakfast staff were hospitable, accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. We had a wonderful stay ! We will definitely consider accommodation at L'Heritage Diamond again if we ever return to Hanoi

This hotel location is perfect for visiting Hanoi. It is located within the Old Quarters and within the street closure with food and street stall right next to the hotel. It is only 2 mins walk to the lake. The rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning, very comfortable bed, very clean room and toilet, quality bed linens and come with a firm and soft pillows. The shower water flow and hot water is good. The daily breakfast is tasty and include international fares and local Vietnamese dishes with different menus daily. The waiters are ever ready to serve us with bespoke coffee and dishes if we need help. Most importantly is the level of customer services and care provided by everyone in the hotel with special mention to the e-commerce manager Martin. He provided clear communication from the moment I book the hotel to ensure my booking is accurate and according to my requirements. he continue to provided information for my tour requirements and ensure my stay at the hotel is comfortable. I will definitely book this hotel again when I visit Hanoi. Thank you for taking care of my family during our 3 nights stay at your hotel.

We spent 2 nights at the Hanoi L’Heritage Diamond Hotel and Spa. The staff are great and they go out of their way to welcome you. The room we stayed in was quite large clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and there was a good selection catering for every taste and all beautifully presented. They offer freshly prepared scrambled eggs, omelet or pho style broth with noodles. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the location was great, there is a really nice Coffee cafe on the corner which we throughly enjoyed! Now for the not so good bits. While we were wasting time after we checked in and waiting for our room to be prepared we decided to have a massage. It was good and we did enjoy it but one of the masseurs asked for a tip which left a bit of a bitter taste. When we arrived and we’re trying to check in the manager was asking us to cancel our reservation on Agoda so that they could “upgrade our room” I found this a bit strange. We couldn’t and said we need to pay the hotel directly which we did. The next day I received a notification from Agoda stating our reservation was cancelled as “No Show” and debited my bank account with the full amount of the accomodation as cancellation fee. All this do that they don’t have to pay Agoda’s commission. The manager at the hotel was desperately trying to sort this out with the owner but I had to go back to Agoda with the receipt that I had paid the hotel directly and they processed a refund. I find it disgusting to do this to your guests and to put the manager and reception staff through an average experience.

Have booked executive suite for 3 night and paid while check in. The Room I got was a standard , hotel try hard to convince its one other type of suite . After they didn’t succeed try to discount the rate. Finally have to cancel the booking and look for one other hotel. Not a good matter of hospitality!

Nice location and great view from the restaurant on the 10th floor. But the bath rooms should be renewed...showers not available, only old style bathtubs which should be repaired. There was always a lot of stuff of the cleaning personnel laying around in the narrow floors. You had a hard time walking from your room to the reception/entrance without any obstacles on your way. Changed money once for a very poor exchange rate. That was much better/fairer in other hotels.

Amazing staff and great location, the only downside is there is a weird smell in both our rooms. They are otherwise very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fine, but not the freshest. The staff, however, is truly delightful. The woman at the front desk is the most helpful and friendly of ANY I have encountered at any hotel of any price, in any country - and I have travelled all over the world and stayed in some very nice hotels. Truly makes it worth it. It would be 5 stars if not for the funky smells and average breakfast. We had the family rooms on the second floor, but other rooms may not smell funny. We would stay here again for the friendly helpful staff, amenities, and good location. Fair prices too.

I booked 2 suites with bathtub and balcony. Note that their balcony comes in different size. One had a seating area outside, the other only had standing space. Room size is smaller than what i expected of a suite. Toilet was huge, with seperated areas for toilet bowl, shower and bathtub. Had the usual bar fridge, small dresser with chair, open concept wardrobe, water boiler, lcd tv (with some satellite channels eg bbc, cna, but the kids channels had vietnamese dubbing). Not sure if its due to covid and that the room was vacant for sometime but my bedside drawers had moldy flowers inside. Told the reception to get it cleaned but they only cleaned one side. Was quite disappointed. There were also deflating balloons stuck to the ceiling. Not sure if it was there pre-covid. Location is ok. Its at the upscale side of hoan kiem lake and food selection is not as good as the other parts of old quarter. All in all its an ok experience for the price paid.

Though the service was great and the staff were so nice but the room was too small for our family. Due to our request they put a extra bed in the room and there is no place to walk for our kids. But if you are travelling alone or you are a couple, I will recommend this place but not with children. The location is very central and lots of shopping, eatries are in walkable distance.

Stayed for one night in between transfers to ha long bay and Sapa. Wish we had stayed longer. Room was good, breakfast good, location was great close to the lake and the service was excellent! The very friendly staff gave us recommendations for dinner close by (a great pho place, ask for it) and plenty of excellent tips for our trip to Sapa and Bac Ha.

I highly recommend this hotel. Your room will be ready at your arrival and they give you with a cold welcome drink. The service staff made my experience so much better and they were really helpful with everything. The room service is really always puntual and the room is nice and smell nice. The breakfast was really good and the pho is amazing. I would like to personally thank to ms. Sabi for the recommendations and the assistance in all the bookings. 10/10 would recommend this place and for sure I will return!

All in all, the hotel's location, room décor, and service personnel are excellent. Even so, there were payment problems (caused by a malfunctioning machine and a malfunctioning machine connection), and I was charged twice. The personnel, particularly Ms. Sabi, who proved to be a great assistance in resolving the matter. Since the payment had already been processed, we ultimately receive our money back in cash. Additionally, it's crucial to confirm that your card payment was processed (particularly if the transaction failed). The team has guaranteed that we will have our money back, and they handled the entire matter with extreme caution and attention. Extremely dependable and recommended. Plus, they give away free red wine as a free gift.

Pros: - Nice staff - Comfortable bed Cons: - Bathroom full of mold - Room very much in need of maintenance, broken stuff - Window between bed and bathroom, which curtain doesn’t fully cover so no private toilet experience I do feel very much misguided by the positive reviews and after giving feedback to the hotel about the room they asked not to place a bad review, and being really very nice staff I was kind of inclined to indeed not place it. On the other hand I feel like they focus more on damage control than prevention, and instead they could also just make sure guests have a good stay, invest a bit in maintenance of the rooms, use a bottle of chloride, replace moldy curtains and sheets with stains and fix broken stuff in the room. We cannot be the first guests to have had this experience. We were happy we only stayed for one short night.

Excellent location with many shops and food choices around. Very friendly and helpful staffs, including Martin and Ms Sabi who kindly provided recommendations for local finds for us. Brilliant service and they go above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Clean and cozy rooms as well! Would recommend!

We stayed here on two separate occasions in different rooms. Our first room was a little small but very clean and ideal for a one night stay. The second room was much bigger and much more comfortable for a longer visit (recommended). The service in the heritage diamond was brilliant. They arranged everything we needed help with and allowed us to leave our bags there on our last day in Hanoi even though we stayed the previous evening in Ha Long Bay. Couldn’t recommend this hotel high enough in terms of service. The facilities and breakfast were really good too.

Really very very very friendly staff. The rooms are small but cozy. Location is the king. Breakfast is basic but awesome, especially being on rooftop it's refreshing to have breakfast with open view.

I had a chance to experience this place last week and it impressed me so much. The location is center and convenient for me to explore destinations in Hanoi. The room is cozy and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staffs, they are very kind and hospitable, especially Mr James. He was very very nice and helped me so much in finding tours. I appreciated that.

Good 4 star hotel with friendly staff. The only negative for me ws the window facing directly a large window of neighboring building, which is open all the time. So I have to draw the curtain in all the time.

Just about everything. We were made to feel so welcome. An oasis of calm in a sea of bustle that is Hanoi. The staff..everyone, went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. We would absolutely recommend the hotel. It is a culture shock going anywhere in the old town if arriving off the plane..but trust me, absolutely safe, friendly and we would stay there again in a heart beat. Probably would not look to stay anywhere else.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Right at the heart of the Old Quarter, super close to the church and to lots of restaurants, cafés and the lake. Cleaning was good and staff was polite, very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room with window but the room was really small (smaller than it looks on the pictures) and there was no space to put our clothes or luggage. The reception needs some maintenance and remodeling..it´s very dark and a bit old..it looks a bit abandoned. Even though the staff is nice, the reception doesn ´t feel very welcoming. Breakfast is ok with a lot of asian food and a few western options. There are no vegan options besides bread, jam and some fruits. Bed and shower are really good. Overall it was a ok stay.

Our stay with the hotel has been very pleasant, we stayed a week here. The staffs and hotel manager were very hospitable and helped out in every way possible. We had a lovely time there, knowing that we would be taken care of in every aspect! Location wise, it's strategically located near the cathedral, lots of recommended food options are around this hotel too.

Not a 4* hotel in my opinion but fairly good value. The rooms are clean but tired. The location is good and the staff were friendly. Nothing to strongly like or dislike.

Excellent hotel. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They kept our luggage for a week while we did a motorbike trip. Hotel is situated within easy walking distance to the old quarter.

  • 5/5 Gerry A. 4 years ago on Google
It is small but quaint. It is typical old quarter hotel. S all. But good service. Breakfast on top of building let's you see the city skyline. Your next to the old cathedral. Walking distance to most old quarter areas. Also, you can section off rooms for a family suite. One door closes a hallway but you get the privacy for the family. Plus, has a spa on site to relax at end of day. So 5 stars based on old quarter style hotel.

Whilst the room was nice and the staff friendly, the hotel was clearly advertised on Agoda as including a full breakfast. On check in i was told there was no breakfast available at the hotel, no restaurant and no tea or coffee. A bit disappointed.

  • 5/5 Claudia S. 4 years ago on Google
After our long journey we received a very warm welcome from the staff at e central. The location is great, just on the edge of the old quarter within walking distance from all the main sights. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. The staff at the desk helped us out with taxis, and recommendations for local restaurants and Street food. We were given a local map and tips for our stay which we found very useful.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel was beautiful and elegant and the location was excellent for exploring the old town. Breakfast was great and the room was spacious. Most of all, we received the best hospitality we've ever experienced. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us, including letting us keep our luggage here when on an overnight trip to Ha Long Bay. We stayed here at the beginning of our honeymoon and it was definitely the right choice. We felt sad when we had to leave! Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Hanoi and for making our honeymoon so special.

Room was very comfortable and clean. The most satisfying thing was their service. They explained Hanoi in detail so we could enjoy our vacation fully. Also they served medicine properly for emergency. (My mother got burn during the tour.... And they helped us to get suitable care) The spa service was also good!!

Excellent stay at a wonderful hotel. My wife and I checked in for just one night before we set off for Danang and our stay couldn’t have been better. The staff at the hotel were nothing short of amazing. The room was superbly clean and big. The room was very comfortable and the bed was big. Would definitely stay again.
