The worst gym I’ve ever been to. The facilities are very nice, but everything from pushy sales, to having to bring several pieces of paper on check in, to lines three people deep at any station, to a million people just laying on couches on their phones just taking up space, to incompetent staff, to the fact that we are in Vietnam and they charge $35 for a day pass and $85 for a month, to their BS VIP club that is the only way to NOT wait in lines, makes me absolutely hate it here. I would ask for a refund, but that will just be a waste of time. Oh, and now they tell me my membership doesn’t cover towels. This place should be burned to the ground.

I went there to workout for a day. They didn't even offer me the option of paying for a day. I had told them I had a medical condition that requires me to stay cool while I work out to avoid getting major blood clots that require (more) surgeries. The place is hot and not air conditioned inside so there's no way I would have done any exercise there without a fan. When I told the sales guy this, he was totally unwilling to simply say, "yeah you could bring a fan" or "we have a fan you could use". Instead, he did everything he could to get me out the door ASAP. It's kind of dark and creepy inside. More like a dance club than a gym. And yeah... HOT and HUMID (no air con). One last thing: They have a spin bike room with so-so looking spin bikes. But they don't allow members to use the bikes unless there's a class going (which is about 2 hours a day). Don't even waste your time going there to see. Do a search here on google and pick any one of several other places for best results.

They only offer one day and one year memberships, no monthly or weekly - the one day is like $18 per day, no way is this gym worth $500 a month.

Avoid this gym at all costs - super rude and unhelpful front of house. I had a 14 day trial which was revoked after day 2 with no explanation but “computer says no”. Day 1 experience: crowded (at 6:30am), small and cramped gym, hygiene could be much better in the bathrooms, locker room located on 5th floor which is a workout in itself to reach via the many escalators!

I have had two month-long memberships to California Fitness, and I could not be happier. A month membership was about $90--similar to what I pay in the US for similar facilities. Group ex classes are great. I love Body Pump (same as states), Zumba, and kick boxing. Equipment is modern and well-kept. They could use lighter weights in weight room (6kg--about 15 lbs. is lightest). Locker rooms are modern with attendants, a nice vanity area with hair dryers. There's a nice coffee/juice bar. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. If I have one quibble, it's that the air temp is definitely warmer than my frigid gym at home, but I figure I'm burning more calories. I will be back next year!
