Very beautiful temple where are many separate buildings inside. The place is popular by the people. There are two big impressive gates to enter and leave the temple. The atmosphere is is totally enjoyable and close to the water. There are beautiful trees hanging down in the lake. The views from from the temple are unbelievable nice.

There were lots of people when I went there, mostly locals. The temple complex is bigger than most in Hanoi. It is beside the West Lake but when I looked into the lake unfortunately there were lots of trash :( …

The Tay Ho District or West Lake district is located north of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. It is a residential area where you can find some nice restaurants including the restaurant run by Bobby Chinn. At the Tay Ho District you can also find Hanoi Rock City, a great venue for independent live music.

Visited the place with my ban ģai. The temple was pleasant enough. Nice views. Seems some kind of tradition to purchase young turtle and catfish and release them into the lake. People very friendly. We took lunch outside the temple, it was a local dish ,prawn on a kind of small pastry, delicious and cheap. Another lovely day in Ha Noi.

Historical place for worshipping and praying for good luck for locals. Especially busy during the 1st and 15th day of the Lunar Calendar. A whole different vibe during Tet. Entrance is free but parking outside will cost you. Lots of traditional food in the area.

There were lots of people when I went there, mostly locals. The temple complex is bigger than most in Hanoi. It is beside the West Lake but when I looked into the lake unfortunately there were lots of trash :( There were lots of small restaurants within the area serving local food. It is quite a distance from the Old Quarter area so I went there via grab bike. Then I had to walk for around 20mins from the temple since I could not book a grab bike from there. It was actually within a residential area and most of the people visiting have their own transportation.

A most famous place in Hanoi, both historically and culturally. Selfies pictures shot here and around the place is recommended for faraway visitors. Also a most famous place to pray for children (for barren couple). Can also pray for financial success. Good place to pray for love luck.

Nice, temple, peaceful, sunny and conveniently located close to turtle lake and pepe la poule, if youre in need of some peaceful meditation following a night of heavy drinking or eating at either one of these fine establishments don't hesitate to visit this place, just be respectful and don't disturb anyone.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag They're red, white and blue And when the band plays "Hail to the Chief" They point the cannon at you, Lord It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no senator's son, son It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no fortunate one Some folks are born silver spoon in hand Lord, don't they help themselves, yeah But when the taxman comes to the door The house look a like a rummage sale It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no fortunate one Yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes They send you down to war And when you ask 'em: "How much should we give?" They only answer: "More, more, more" It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no military son It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no fortunate one, one It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no fortunate one It ain't me, it ain't me I ain't no fortunate one
