3 of us kiwis just compleated a 6 day 5 night tour from Hanoi to Sapa near the Chinese boarder. We hired CRF250L motorbikes and they were well suited for the trip. Unreal scenery, food, roads, dirt tracks, rivers, bridges, dams, beer, corn wine, rice wine, and more food. Great price with the tour including bikes, admin sorting out motles and home stays, food, gasoline and a great tour guide with good English skills. Looking forward to doing a 14day or more tour soon. 8 Day northern Vietnam motorbike tour I just had the best 8 days of my life!! I booked a 250cc Honda with tour guide around the north of Vietnam. 16 day tour with the best guide ever! A friend and I went on the tour with Cong as our guide - went on a motorcycle tour of vietnam, 15 days in total from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh; can not express how amazing it was! Had a fantastic time, felt safe the whole time. We were really well looked after by Cong, and we can’t thank Indochina Tours enough. Really must thank our guide, friend and all round good guy Cong Kc - this guy made the trip so much better. He looked out for us constantly, took us to some amazing places, made sure we were comfortable and happy - made the trip ten times better than we ever could have hoped for. Greg and I are both planning to go back next year - fingers crossed we will get Cong again. From the first night in a mountain top home stay to many varied hotels along the way, it was just such an amazing trip to Vietnam! Thanks again Cong!

From South-Central Cambodia to Central Vietnam! What an awsome ride with great friends and a great guide .We did the 7 day tour with Cong & Visoth, and he was great. He had a good knowledge of the tracks and took us to places with great views. The home stays and hotels were all clean and welcoming. My girlfriend and I went on the 7 day Ho Chi Minh trail ride from Hanoi to Hoi An. We booked with Ala, who was accommodating and made sure we had a quality booking experience. We had several preliminary emails asking questions because of the level of experience my girlfriend possessed going into the trip and he made sure we understood (as best as possible) what we were getting ourselves into. When we started our tour, we were paired with our guide, Jackie. He was incredibly knowledgeable and knew all of the best food spots too. It was great to have a local guide lead the tour, and Im still not sure how we made it all that way without him using google maps or something else. The bikes were in good shape, with the exception of the speedometer not working, which isnt that big of a deal, but it would have been nice to know the distance that we had gone during each leg of the journey. Clearly, it was a great trip if thats all I have to say! Highly recommend that you book with this company. They run a great operation and while it seems expensive, the experience was well worth the price.

Hanoi to Ho chi Minh city motorbike tour. I was looking for an adventure holiday, (we are both late 60's going on 40). My colleague had done all the homework, and suggested Vietlong travel. Our guide, Cong, met us at our hotel on a wet Hanoi morning, and took us to collect our bikes; these were brand new honda 150's We survived the journey out of the city which was an adrenaline experience in itself; the drivers there are either brilliant or mad....both actually. Cong looked after us like mother hen, ensuring our safety, and catering for our preferences. The first night was totally unexpected; we stopped amid rice fields near the top of a mountain, and I thought, where's the hotel? We were to spend the night in log hut on a mattress with mosquito nets. It was warm and dry: it was superb, we were after all on an adventure holiday. The following morning saw a treacherous journey down the mountain track. I had no prior experience of such riding, but noticed that my tyres were much better than our guides. I soon realized what capable machines we had. I was back in my youth again. Each day was a new adventure, from crossing rope bridges to swimming under a waterfall. A brilliant holiday for those who enjoy life. Thanks.

I booked a solo bike tour through vietlong travel for 6 days / 5 nights. It was the best way to travel and experience the local culture and landscape. My local guide Cong has an excellent knowledge of the roads, culture and people and he was able to customize the tour to suit my interests. 5 Day Motorbike tour of North West Vietnam The Team at Vietlong travel were exceptional. From the beginning with organising via email, suggesting local attractions, tailoring the tour to suit the needs of our group. They arranged a day trip to see Ha Long Bay for us on a day we had spare which was amazing. The tour of northern Vietnam from Hanoi up to Sapa and back stopping at many villages along the way was awesome. We experienced a lot of rain but this made it a great added challenge for a group of men on an adventure. The guide and support was perfect.
