Beautiful water tank tower near the old Hanoi quarter. Beautiful architecture and eye catching. Seems old construction but not sure. It's near the Hang Dau Garden and lots of Cafe and restaurants around the water tank. Easy to locate it and take some photos, won't regret it to stop for a while and take pictures. Thank you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Cool water tank. You can’t go inside. There’s a lot of coffee shops and restaurants nearby though. It’s not a must visit if you are in Hanoi. Just look at and move on.

Reminds me of a roman tower. Unfortunately you can't go inside and can only admire it from outside.

Honestly don't remember walking past this but Google asked me to review it. I'm sure it was cool at the moment but I don't remember. Please don't hate me.

This is a famous historical place in Hoan Kiem district. It has been remodeled and preserved to become a check-in place for tourists and even young people to visit Hanoi Capital.

This water tank was built by the French to supply water to Hanoi city. Nowadays, it remains idle, and becomes a tourist attraction. Many people visit this place to take photos as it looks really beautiful, especially in the autumn.

At the heart of the city, you'll find the water tower standing tall, an important part of Hanoi's history. Even though you can't go inside, this landmark adds to the city's culture and architecture. It stands as a reminder of Hanoi's long history, giving us a peek into the eras that have shaped the city's identity. While we can't explore its interior, the water tower still stands as a significant symbol of Hanoi's past.

In fantastic condition but not worth going out of your way for. Cannot enter the building.

Beautiful piece if architecture in the middle of the old quarter. Great place to take some photos and relax. There is a nice park right next to the water tower that often has something going on.

A French-era water tank, one of the French remnants here in Ha Noi. For ainited time, they have it open to go inside, it was nice.

We went here as part of our tour with back street tours led by Jack, and I was on a bike with Phi. This place is really nice. Thanks, boys, for showing us around Ha Noi.

Used to be a water tank in the colonial time. Now it is just a unremarkable roundabout but young people love to take picture with it.

Very interesting and architecturally rather beautiful, despite being surrounded by what would otherwise be an ugly roundabout. The structure itself manages to cut up the space such that the roads look less intimidating, although they still are. The upper tier of the tank is made of stone which has been smoothed over, with the lower half being constructed of exposed brickwork.

As vegetarian people, we found this place very nice. The food is perfect and you have a lot of choices. And the view on the rail is super! We really suggest it!

I didn't realise that this structure was a water tank at first. From the outside of looks like cylinderical tall structure. It doesn't look like a water tank at all. It is located near a junction. Beside the tank is a garden / park. It is a building that will not eacapevyourcdight as you pass through the area. Also if u are trying to locate anyplace here be sure to use this as a marker .

Can only view from the outside. Wouldn't put this as a place to explore unless you are passing by.

Nice historical landmark, from the appearance surely no one will know it is a water tank. There is also a very good motorbike rental store there, with the garage nearby. Fair price, good bikes. Worth a try!

An old historical relic from French time, with a nice park right next to it. There also is a very nice motorbike rental store here with its own garage. The owner is truly a legend! Don't miss it if you ever need a motorbike for getting around.
