We rented five XL 150 bikes. They ran great and had no problems. They are geared really high so they can drive fast enough to be on a lot of the highways, but they have no low end at all. If you plan on doing hill climbs or anything you will be disappointed. The people who rented the bikes were knowledgeable and friendly and were able to meet with us despite our unusual schedule.

Hey, I just want to share my experiences with that amazing company! I have rented bikes from many places all over Vietnam, but that place is definitely nr 1. Started from such a lovely customer service. The guys were so nice, patiently respond on all my questions ( their english is great btw.) Secondly the bike was just other level. Almost brand new - wow what a maschine.<Honda xr> I drove from ha noi to China I haven't got single problem with that bike, was so comfortable, smooth, and looking so good. My friends bikes which they rented from other X companies broke down multiple times on the way. I'm so glad I found off road company. I'll always rent bike from them, and I'll always recommend that to others. Thank you!

Brilliant service by these guys, we didn't do a tour, we rented their XR150s, but they helped us as much as they could and were very friendly. They have a bunch of useful information for you if you need it. They speak great English. The bikes were in good condition, we had no problems with them, and if there were any problems, we had a couple of spare parts and mechanics numbers for our journey. Can't wait to get back to Vietnam, and when I do I will be renting here again.

We rented two CRF 250 for 3 weeks in January 2024. The motorcycles were in very bad condition: over 8 years old, with over 60,000 km on the clock, all levers worn out, throttle grip and Hand guards broken and the suspension had no oil or the springs were broken. The motorcycle jumped like a horse on every bump in the ground. On the second motorcycle the gear jumped out 5 times a day. The best thing was that the alternator broke in the mountains on the way and we had to go back to Hanoi. We had to buy two batteries for this. The owner didn't want to cover the entire cost of the two batteries we bought. Incredible! He also does not want to reimburse the costs for the two days lost. This company cares more about sales than satisfied customers. I have no idea how this one gets good reviews. I can only STRONGLY advise anyone not to rent here. On the way we met a lot of motorcyclists who had rented with other companies and had much better motorbikes.

Rented 2 Honda XR 150L bikes from them to drive around northern vietnam โ€” no issues! Was affordable and the owner spoke good english. 1600 kms and the bikes engine/breaks worked awesome. I even had slight damage on my bike after a couple of slips, and the repair price was totally reasonable. Would recommend for sure.

Great place to rent a bike for the northern loop - I checked around and they were the cheapest. They provided a perfect working Honda xr, proper helmet and goggles, loads of useful info and they even got my laundry done for me while I went on my trip!

These guys were amazing, couldnโ€™t recommend it more. Everything was swift and easy with no troubles at all. My grandad and I rented two Honda XR150s and they ran perfectly throughout our time in Vietnam, they were amazed by his great age (84). We didnโ€™t do a tour but they recommended a route that we take all in the north of Vietnam which was amazing. We told them the amount of time we had and what we wanted to do and they recommended places to stay which were great and a route to do which was also amazing. Really helpful and nice bikes, would recommend.

If you are looking for the best off-road tour in Northern Vietnam, you found the right place. These guys were upfront, honest, gave us lots of options, let us customize our tour and made great recommendations as they do this all the time. Our guide, Thon, was such a great guy and we had a blast with him for our 6 day tour. We ate the best food, stayed with great families and he took us through the most amazing single track/scenery we could have hoped for. This was the highlight of our month long trip to Vietnam and we will be back for another tour with Thon soon. Also, I read all the one star reviews before going to talk to these guys. If you have some time to kill, read through them. The replies from the owner are awesome and you can tell he cares about his business and his reputation. Both the owner and Thon were great and a pleasure to work with.

The owner is so kind and approachable. The motorbikes are all in good condition and good price. We rent a vision model last july 2022 and we used it for more than 7 months. They werenโ€™t any problem or issue when we were using the motorbike.

I can't fault this operation. They have great bikes (we took 2x Honda 250 CRF's) and covered 1,000 km in five days, probably half of that was well off the beaten tracks, it rained almost constantly and yet the bikes were sensational. One flat tye, luckily next to a major town was easily fixed thanks to the tool kit and spares inner tubes they give you. Such a joy to deal with these guys, nothing was too much trouble, no question, too stupid and when we did cause some cosmetic damage to one of the machines, they took it in their stride saying that these things happen. 100% the guys to book with and whether or not you take the guide, you will have an amazing time. Just beware, if they say it is cold in the North, they mean it. We froze for three days purely because it was hot in Hanoi when we left town. Offroad Vietnam have all the right kit you need, take it! But above all, book with them, they are GREAT.

It's been a week since I finished an 11 day Ha Giang tour through North Vietnam. I keep reliving the experiences in my mind every day. The tour is the experience of a lifetime and I've been lucky enough to tour with Off-road Vietnam three times now. This trip I went with a couple of mates and our guide tailored the experience exactly to our needs. Anh Vu's communication is excellent and you will feel safe in his company's capable hands.

These guys are amazing. They checked and repaired my motorbike even when I didn't bought it from them (I've got a special exception :)). For sure they know what they are doing, they've changed the steering, cleaned the engine, repaired the suspension, test drive it and warned me about oil. Great job guys, thanks a lot! If you need a proper bike, go to see them!

I had an awesome experience renting from here. I had a short trip so I only rented for 3 days, but defiantly wish I spent a couple weeks. I put on about 850km in 3 days though, up into Ta Xua mountains and didn't have a single issue. I rented the XR150 which was pretty new and in great shape, he takes very good care of the bikes and has some custom features on the bikes (raised handle bars, rear racks, ect). He provides you will a tool kit, chain oil, detailed instruction map in English if anything happens, everything you need. Defiantly recommend, no scam, no issues, awesome time.

The guys are ace, give you a full repair kit to ride with. Bikes up to 250cc and you have to stop every so often to let it cool ( realistically every 1.5 / 2 hours) fully serviced and good tyres, but this is Vietnam, the bikes have been ridden a lot, don't expect them to have the power of a new bike_at all, or anything like Thai bikes. But they do have them. Again great service and very prompt email response for any queries - top lad

I have previously tried and failed to learn how to ride a motorcycle, but the Offroad Vietnam team gave me some one-on-one training before we left, and then we set off on a magnificent 4 day tour, including some dirt road motorcycling, from Hanoi to Sapa. There I ended my tour to go trekking and my bike was loaded onto a bus to go back to Hanoi. The whole trip was very well organised and adaptable to our preferences. Our motorcycle/cultural guide Xuan took very good care of us both on the road and when we stopped, staying in both clean hotels and charming homestays along the route. Excellent value for money. I would certainly travel with Offroad Vietnam again.

Yesterday we did a 1 day motorcycle tour. We rode 150/ 250cc dirt bikes from Hanoi City, out to farmland/ banana fields. We rode through small towns/ suburbs outside the city. Did some fun small trails. We got out where there was less traffic. Our guide Tony treated us like a friend. We drove onto a small ferry to cross the river, where we sat with some locals, and Tony broke the ice with some banter and included us in the conversations which was very neat. We ended up circling the outskirts of Hanoi and ending up 45 mins north of the city where some dirt bike tracks were in some small beautiful mountains that allowed us to throttle up some fun elevation! We ended the day driving though the traffic of Hanoi city to arrive back with massive smiles on our faces. Highlight of our trip thus far! The owner Anh was very easy to communicate with, listened well to our questions, and made it fun from start to finish Thank you!! Canโ€™t wait to do another one of your trips. Brad and Ashley! Oh and 1 more important thing. I told Anh that we are two 100kg people and needed 250cc bikes. My wife is less confident than me on motorcycles. He had her on a more forgiving 150cc bike. End of the day, Iโ€™d only rode sport bikes in the past and didnโ€™t know what I was talking about. The owner, Anh, made it seamless. AND, traffic is CRAZY in Hanoi. For my wife, she ALWAYS felt safe following our guide Tony, and he made it clear what we were in for. Itโ€™s like an ant farm, no one really ever stops and just dodges each other, itโ€™s FANTASTIC and I love going into all the traffic and buzzing around, but most importantly my wife felt secure even in the busiest of times. It was seriously something she would have never done, and now cannot wait to do again.

Well here I must say to all foreigners to contact Off-road Vietnam Motorbikes for any kind of bike requirement they have all from per day to monthly and yearly basis. From 50Cc to 250CC. Best part of them is they are too good in service anytime anywhere you need them. And the last but not least they speak English very well which makes your problem of language solved. Happy with OVM Hanoi All the best

Very easy to rent a Honda XR 150 (manual). Absolutely THE best bike to ride in Vietnam. Had no issues with the bike. Took it for a little road trip to Ninh Binh. The scenery wasn't that special riding down, but the bike was a beauty. Ninh Binh was stunning. Experiencing Ninh Binh on a powerful dirt bike is an amazing experience. Would 100% rent again if I needed a bike.

Vietnam - it was my first time there and its easy to whole heartedly say the countryside, its endless greenery, misty mountains and rivers are majestic, one of the wonders of this world. Alongside this, the Vietnamese people are so special. They beam with contentment and joy. I'm grateful to have experienced Vietnam in such an intimate way on this tour. From bustling cities to highland villages, from mountain tops to white beaches, by road or dirt track you see it all. The food throughout the trip was absolutely incredible, there wasn't a dish I didn't like - in an unexpected way it was the ultimate food tour by motorbike. Our Guides Tan & Xuan were outstanding, they were the perfect duo. Both were knowledgeable in history, geography and culture of each province as well as being professional, reliable and funny. Organiser Vu Anh was exceptional, his communication and delivery was floorless. All in all I couldn't think of a more effective way for the intrepid adventurer to experience Vietnam.

Ive been renting from Mr Anh Wu from Offroad Vietnam for about 4 months now. He is a true gentleman, and speaks English very well. It's even the little things that shows the good service he gives, like replacing my helmet clip free of charge, or giving helpful tips from any conversation we have, even when it has nothing to do about motorbikes. He always has been very helpful, and informative about lots of things. Service has been beyond excellent, and highly recommend Offroad Vietnam to anyone.

If you're doing a self-guided tour, stay far away from this business, unless you want to deal with a shockingly rude, unprofessional person who cannot think about anything beyond money and does not care about you or your ride. I had red flags from this guy right from the beginning when I emailed him about renting a bike. I wrote it off as cultural differences and decided to go with him. Big mistake! From the time I landed in Hanoi and reached out to him, to the time I left, he was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. He rented me a bike with a crack in the tire (my mistake for not doing a thorough inspection, trusting that he was a professional). I noticed it after a couple of days. He kept gaslighting me and telling me that the tire would be fine. What kind of a person would rent a bike with a cracked tire to someone new to their country with a 2000 km ride ahead of them, on a tight schedule with no time to waste on tire changes, and telling them it would be fine? He did not care about my safety or about needlessly delaying my trip. (And no, this is not a Vietnam thing. When I asked Tigit Motorcycles, they also recommended that it be replaced as soon as possible.) At this point I was so disgusted with him that I just replaced it out of pocket and stopped communicating with him. (He paid me later on for a portion of the cost, just what he would pay for a tire from China. So professional!) This guy says on his website that they will be with you on the road all the way if you rent from them, but in reality he will tell you that you "ask too many questions", give short unhelpful replies, and try to make you feel like you're stupid and unused to Vietnam riding. Throughout my ride, whenever I had questions, I would message Tigit Motorcycles, who kindly replied with very useful answers, even though I did not even rent from them!! That's how you know who is a true motorcyclist at heart. I've ridden all over the world and rented motorbikes in many places and I've never had such an awful experience. I've hosted motorcyclists from foreign countries and been their support because I truly want them to have a great time in my country. This guy does not care about motorcyclists or what their experience in his country will be like. This is just a business to him. Stay away.

I have rented many Honda XR150s from Offroad Vietnam, usually with friends, but most recently for a solo trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh. Vu always ensures the bikes are in great condition before we go. He is extremely friendly, helpful and well-organized. I've never had any problems with any of the bikes I've rented. He made my trip to HCM a breeze. He checked up on my to see how my trip was going and he organized for someone to pick the bike up in HCM for it to be shipped back to Hanoi! The whole process was stress-free. If you want to rent a bike for a trip from Hanoi to anywhere in Vietnam, I highly recommend Offroad Vietnam! Thanks again, Vu!

If you are in Hanoi and want to rent a bike, this is the place for you. The owner is so much genuine and very kind. The bikes are in excellent conditions, the staff is very helpfull and prices are also good.

Linh is the best! Great service. Great knowledge on rides/roads/trails. Personalized support. Engaging and fun experience at the shop. Very social experience. Meet other riders and create riding crews. Ultra low mileage bike. No problems. Honda XR 150. Linh provides parts, oil and reimbursements for service work. I had no issues. I loved my experience. Everything was perfect.

Poor customer service and rude conversion when I wannted to do direct inspection prior to renting! It cost lives if things go wrong, why not allowing client to take direct inspection? Idiot and ego!

Due to the ongoing travel restrictions I was lucky to have some time off and explore the beautiful north of Vietnam. Renting a bike from these guys was easy, communication was great and the bikes were perfect. We took an XR150 and a CFR250. Both priced reasonably with all the support and service needed. Would rent again anytime! Top notch.

Have rentrs bikes from them many times and everytime they have been great! They teach you how to drive and what to do if something does happen, they also give you spare parts in case you find yourself in the country side where some parts are difficult to find. Defiantly rent their bikes for your trip!

I rented a motorbike XR150 and I 've been very happy about the service. The motorbike was good and well maintained. I had just one little problem on the rear brake but the service was good. I called the agency and they support me well.

Used these guys for an XR150 solo trip through the NW, absolutely no problems at all. Communication was very good and flexibility great as well. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend the highly.

I had a multiday motorbike tour last year, and it was the most amazing trip I've been on. I cannot wait to go back for round two!

Great bikes, well maintained bikes and very good guidance! Even though we did a self-guided tour, they helped us a lot with the route and for instance, spare parts such as inner tubes. Would recommend because of the large amount of knowledge and great hospitality!

Great little motorbike rental and and tour company in center of Hanoi. It's a small shop, but very professionally run. I did a single-day offroad trip with an experienced guide to the mountain areas north of Hanoi. It was a lot of fun, seeing the country from single-trail tracks and ripping through the mountains. For a single-day trip, it made a lot of sense to go with a guide to get you out of the city fast and back in again. We were riding on two Honda CRF 250s which are the perfect bikes for this type of terrain. The bike was in a good condition and seemed to be well maintained. The guide was helpful in finding challenging, but not too difficult routes. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely do it again, ideally for a multi-day trip.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Very good and competent travel agency. I could definitely recommend you to book your vacation with them. They arranged our whole trip in Vietnam for around 2 weeks and we had such a good time. Also very fast in responding if you have any questions or issues.
