Vietnam best hotel to visit rooms are awesome Stayed here for 3 nights in a Premier Lake View room and had a wonderful time. The hotel is very impressed by the decorative design, splendid with gold-plated details that give me a unique and new experience that I haven't ever seen in other hotels before. The room is very large and well-equipped with golden cover bathtub, automatic curtain, automatic coffee machine. Also the open lake view from this room make me really relax. Large and fresh Breakfast Buffet restaurant at 3 level with stunning views of the lake also. Best ever coffee

One word - disappointed! 1. I called to make a reservation. Your staff told me that the price was the final price, included tax and service charge. The day after there was another staff called me to ask for my card detail, told me the same that it was the final price. My bad to trust you and did not check your email which said the opposite. So, I was unhappy to pay extra money for what I was told included. 2. I was tired after my flight and I was sleeping but your staff kept calling me, 3 times, just to tell me that he checked and no one took responsibility for informing me the wrong price. He requested me to come down to pay the extra money. I paid 2 million deposit and I was sure you could have taken from that without annoying me, 3 times. 3. I was told that the price was included buffet breakfast. Not until I paid did you tell me that buffet breakfast was not available because you had just opened. I do not mind having à la carte breakfast but I would have been less disappointed if I had been noticed. 4. Your staff told me I could order as much as I want from à la carte breakfast menu. 10pm, she called me to tell me that I could only choose 3 dishes from the menu. Then in the morning, at the restaurant, I could order unlimited. Don’t you think your staff should have known better about what service you provide? 5. There was a hair in my breakfast. 6. I ordered beef pho, your staff served me chicken pho. I asked for extra vegetable and until I finished my pho, there was still no vegetable for me. 7. I had a friend visiting me at the hotel. No one told me she had to leave her ID at the reception. We were in bikini ready to go to swim and your staff came, insisted on her getting change and going down to provide her ID. 8. Your hotel is not complete. There were people going around with flash on their phone to check the elevator, builders at the swimming pool staring at me and my friend. That was super rude and super uncomfortable. 9. Your staff asked for my contact and promise about an apologise. 3 days and I have not received any email from you. 10. This is not really a complaint but I just feel uncomfortable when your Vietnamese staff replied my Vietnamese email in English. I feel like it’s an automatic email reply. You are not wrong to have an automatic reply email but it just makes me feel uncomfortable so I mention it here too. 11. You told me this hotel is still under construction and has not opened yet. Any explanation please?

Its all golden, everything is touched with gold, and well kept. The service is also golden, very attentive and helpful staff from check-in to room service to concierge, great hospitality. Comfortable bed and pillows, got a really good night's sleep.

This is my second time staying here. Last time when they first opened, there’re mistakes which made me really disappointed. But I think they deserve a second chance. And they did a great job. I’m satisfied. 1. Amazing facilities Everything is golden plated. Heated rooftop swimming pool. Warm enough to swim in the winter 👍 They provide Salvatore Ferragamo shampoo and shower gel, smell so good. 2. Caring, good service They call to inform me the weather and remind me to take some warm clothes. Better than my boyfriend at this point 😅 They pick me up at the airport with a gold plated Jaguar. The driver wears formal suit. I usually have terrible car sick but not with this driver. He drives safe and very carefully. They prepare chocolate and a card welcome me in the room. When I still keep the tag “do not disturb” on the 2nd day, they call to confirm if I don’t want to clean the room or if it is a mistake. 3. Good food Variety buffet breakfast with good cheese including goat cheese and blue cheese with gold on top. 4. Affordable price Last time I stayed here, the cheapest room was 12 million. But now they have more types of room cheaper, around 2 million as far as I know.

Hotel of Gold, what an amazing experience where you are surrounded with gold everywhere. The luxury at the step is what we found and with amazing infinity pool and other amenities. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed it a lot . The hospitality was awesome, and people are polite there and also understand english. You can have many Indian families staying there with other tourists also. Good honeymoon time, we enjoyed the luxury of Vietnam .

I stayed here for a few days during my birthday week in Vietnam. The staff was so kind and polite. They really helped us get around the city and otherwise too. Anything we wanted to buy or anywhere we wanted to go, they gave us the best recommendations most of which we never saw on google. One night, I told them I did not know that restaurants shut so early there and they made an exception and let me and my friends order food after closing time which was super delicious as well. I would recommend especially foreigners who do not speak Vietnamese to stay at this hotel because they are resourceful and will help you around 🏩

My stay at Dolce by Wyndham Hotel in Hanoi left me with mixed feelings. While the entrance and reception staff were welcoming and helpful, a few observations stood out. The surrounding area lacked cleanliness, accompanied by persistent odors. The breakfast buffet, though diverse, didn't cater well to Indian preferences. It's worth noting that a single day might not be sufficient to fully experience the hotel. Overall, a decent stay with both positive and room for improvement aspects.

To start off with, as the name suggests, the hotel is covered in gold.. inside and out! You've got to experience it to believe it. While the location of the hotel is not ideal as it's on a busy street but the hotel itself is very luxurious. Another point they could use to improve service is to have more bellboys as we had to carry out own luggage to our rooms upon check-in. The rooms are pretty big and comfortable with all possible amenities that one could want. The bathroom too is huge with a remote-controlled WC and a bidet, a huge bath tub.. all of which is also covered in gold. The hotel has a heated infinity pool which looks over the lake from the top floor. The continental breakfast spread is awesome as it not only had many vegetarian options but also had a separate counter specifically for Indian food. Only drawback is they didn't tag the food items to clarify whether it was vegetarian or non-vegetarian. So we were dependent upon the wait-staff. One of them was extremely uncooperative when asked to serve coffee or hot chocolate.

There were some initial issues upon checking in as well as in some of the facilities in the room, but the staff is as helpful as it can possibly get in a hotel in Vietnam. The building looks tacky from the outside, but the rooms are actually tastefully appointment with gold accents where they can be installed. There are definitely other hotels with better views, but the location makes this place perfect for business travelers due to being center to most of the financial hubs of Hanoi, as we as for for those who are looking for staycations without having to travel far from the city. The in-house restaurants (F29 and Golden Lake Palace) serve reasonably-priced food and with good quality to match. The Set Lunch at F29 is bang for buck, while the Dumplings and other dishes at the golden palace were some of the best and highest quality Chinese food I've had in Hanoi. Dinner and Breakfast buffet are good, but I've had better in other hotels. The swimming pool (gilded in gold and temperature controlled, is one of the nicest parts of the experience, having a panoramic vista of the city. While one could wish it was a bit deeper, it is nonetheless, a very nice pool to have. Perhaps foams/mattresses would be great additions to the sunbeds? I will definitely stay in this hotel again, as it is a convenient, accessible escape right in the heart of Hanoi.

Beautifully put together. Incredible view on the lake side. Unfortunately they just haven’t got a few things together. Lacks consistency in dining, breakfast finishes at 10am (on the dot - don’t expect to be able to get anything after). To dine in at the restaurant / room service is wildly expensive. As is laundry. Probably some of the best views at the rooftop pool but no restaurant or bar. We got told off for bringing champagne and sitting on the deck to watch the sunset. As a side not - the hot water in the room ran out daily. Would definitely stay again, but it could be better for 5* Reception and concierge staff are lovely. Breakfast staff are not very friendly. Tried to order an omelette from the omelette station and was refused, being told to take a cold one that had been sitting there.

Over the weekend, I stayed in a Premier Lake View room. The room was spotless and had an amazing location with a fantastic view. However, I was taken aback by the deposit amount, which was much higher than that of other 5-star hotels - at 2,000,000 VND per night. Nonetheless, what made my stay the most unpleasant was the customer service. The staff were unfriendly and had no smiles on their faces. The bellman saw us arrive but didn't offer to help us with our luggage up the very high stairs. Furthermore, the guard at the motorbike parking spoke to me in a very impolite tone, asking me "why are you here?" when I arrived at the parking. The breakfast selection was not diverse, and the staff at the coffee counter was always busy with her phone. When I asked if they had condensed milk, the staff was hurriedly pouring too much into the cup. When I asked for less, she was annoyed and said, "why didn't you tell me beforehand?". During my two-night stay in Hanoi, I had the pleasure of experiencing two different hotels. The first night, I stayed at a local hotel and was blown away by their warm welcome and exceptional service. On the other hand, I spent the second night at this 5-star hotel which was lacking in comparison. I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the lack of hospitality.

I was curious about the novelty of the golden rooms, so I checked in for 2 nights. Although it's a pretty hotel, I found it a little outdated. For the price I found it to be too expensive in comparison to other hotels for same price like Lotte Hotel nearby. My room was interesting with golden fixtures and an usually big bed that was very comfortable. Upon arriving I noticed that the tv was not working and took a full day to be fixed and the AC pointed exactly to the bed which made me get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. The location is not the most convenient, but it's surrounded by some interesting cafes and restaurants. I didn't try the Chinese restaurant in the hotel for I didn't find it appealing. But if you like the opulence of gold, you will find your stay here comfortable and luxurious.

This is the most unprofessional and unethical hotel I have ever came across in my entire 22 years of hotel industry experience. If you have a corporate business or important clients never ever trust the sales staff for anything. They do not exist on the weekends irrespective you give them 40 rooms or more in a month. They have made a policy in their own way and follow it without any consideration. A zero star on service standards. They should not be in the hotel business . As running a hotel comes under service industry which they totally do not fit. It’s like any other small hotel with no Ethics. You pay for the room and use the service in their conditions which are set by them. They keep a deposit which is more than the room rent and that money is freezed irrespective of the circumstances. Trust me guys. Please take a hotel with a no star and you can still get a better service.

This place has a golden theme and the king-size bed is really comfortable. However, the hot water supply is not stable, so you can’t take a comfortable bath. It's a pity that they have a golden tub, but it cannot be used. Additionally, the level of cleanliness is not up to par; there are stains on the end table.

$400 a night (cheapest room) for: - Not everything gold plated as advertised. The golden paint of the toilet seat literally peeled off. - Very average breakfast cooked with cheap ingredients. Instead of a buffet, as mentioned at the reception, you get a Bread basket, pho bo and full English. Everything was quite disappointing, especially the latter - Being called 5 times by the reception, including a phone call at 10pm, to confirm the breakfast options and the final price to pay - A general feeling of incompetence, maybe due to the recent opening; however, not something acceptable from a 5 star hotel. Final opinion: For the same price you can get much more elsewhere.

Just checked out today. The service is really superb. We got upgraded to the Lake View, and since it is our anniversary, the hotel gave us a nice box of chocolate. It is out first time to go to Hanoi, and we were pleasantly surprise with the hospitality of the hotel staff. Thank you!

Great location. Rooms are quite nice and spacious. Lake view is great especially by the night. You can walk to many attractions. Close to Lotte Center, by walk 15 minutes. Lunch and dinner buffets are rich in variety and food is delicious. Breakfast buffet is also good but if you are carnivore or on keto diet you may be little restricted. All buffets have small Indian corner also.

The place is actually a hotel and is what they claim - Hanoi s best hotel to visit and stay . We had 2 rooms , The rooms are awesome . I Stayed here for 1 night in a Premier Lake View room and other has a side view on the 15th floor ; kids had a wonderful time in the room . The hotel is very impressive by the decorative design, splendid with gold-plated details that gave me a unique and new experience that I haven't ever seen in other hotels before. The room is large, spacious with super large bed and a well-equipped with golden cover bathtub, automatic curtain, automatic coffee machine. Also the open lake view from this room makes up for the extra space. Large and fresh Breakfast Buffet restaurant at 3 level with stunning views of the lake also. I had great coffee although they preferred to provide coffee mate , they give you soy milk if you ask. I asked for almond milk , as I love to have my coffee with it , The machine in the room was perfect and they refilled on request. The swimming pool was stunning !! Gold gold gold !! There is a K Circle near by for water and munchies .There are 2 small bottles of water for each person They do not provide extra water which is standard in Vietnam. All was perfect . We were a little late at check out and wish they could be swifter for it. Rest is all good.

BEWARE PEOPLE..the staff here plays cheap tricks on guest..like filling ur toiletries with water and then keep on laughing at u...and if by mistake u lock urself out and ask for another key card they will stick cheap notes in ur room.I was wid my small kids but they didn't even cooperated in breakfast menu... Hotel's golden theme n swimming pool are nice but the hospitality doesn't make u feel like staying there...even the manager is not concerned about the guest. I travel a lot and this was my worst experience..felt like we paid to get humiliated and harassed..

Not a very good experience. Initially stay rooms were good.,which were on the 19 th Floor. But later towards the end of the trip when we again came to stay the 6 th floor rooms were not maintained . Paint was peeling off., Shower room drains were choking, toilet sensors were not proper.

Nothing spectacular about this hotel other than everything everywhere painted in gold. I would say its an ordinary 4 star hotel with comfortable bed and tidy room. The usual 4 star hotel standard. Breakfast was so so, can be a lot better. The service boy at the main door wasn't good enough for such a hotel. Not up to the attentive standard a 4star hotel should have.

Gold Hotel. Nice swimming pool with great panoramic view. Rooms are nice and clean, bed is really comfy🛏👌🏻 Bathroom amazing 🤩🪙Buffet is good, many options. The only minus in that hotel is hot water in Bathroom. Only 10 minutes of hot water for bath or shower 🚿...after U have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to get back hot water ( old system).

Everything from the tea cup to closet is gold inside the hotel room. It can be too much some times 😅 but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Only drawback was there was literally no view from my room. Even the windows were sealed from outside stopping from natural light entering to the room. It’s such a shame for this fabulous property

One more experince with Dolce , Since 21 July till now, 19 days, despite of all efforts, and exchanging email, Zalo chat to (Sales Cordinator at Saigon, Dolce), and after submission all required documents , The refund of 14,000,000 VND is not processed , Reasons unknown. This is the deposit amount asked for my guests to pay , All Guests checked out and all payments made . Now its their time to refund the deposit . they all are sleeping on the files i presume . i see no one seem to be interested or have any etics to communicate on official mail till now on the refund process . when i was not able to provide 200 USD ontime when they had my deposit on 1400 USD ( Document avaliable as proof if to be shown ) , They have not extended my check in for next day stating that , They will only release the keys once the amount reflects in the bank account . So the moral of the story is for a Room rent of 90 USD , You pay 100 USD extra as deposit ,However the deposit they will not refund for uknown reasons .

It’s really mind-blowing to see such a dazzling and luxurious hotel built up right on the spot where old socialist communist residence buildings of the early 1970s used to stand. A mixture of nostalgic & mesmerized feelings for me, who spent my childhood in this area.

The service menu is not enhanced however they have few halal options The rooms are beautiful and the pictures would be Instagram worthy. It is not exactly in the centre but there are few restaurants around but you will need cash Otherwise Grab is your best option There is a mall near by for you to visit. Overall the rooms are spacious but that’s the only thing I could acknowledge for now

After having seen a blog on this hotel, I had been curious to visit this place when I visit Vietnam. We reached the hotel around 10 AM, as per the hotel policy the check in time is 3 PM but the staff were kind enough to arrange and provide 1 room out of the 3 rooms booked by 11 AM. As seen on all the viral videos and reels, most places and interiors (including the bathtub and commode) are plated with gold (as per their claims). The interiors are all very well done and very neatly maintained. Handling the commode can get a little tricky as it's managed by a remote control. The staff were courteous but only during check out they were hesitant to keep our lagguage for the reminder of the day. It's a very unique experience on the whole.

Further the dining staff were very noisy (pic.) and the restaurant manager was helpful to tell them to be quiet, but they don't listen

Upon checkin a cheaper rate was offered to me than my direct book online rate. The hot water worked intermittently, the breakfast was terrible (dry pre made dishes), repeated room key failures, cheap gold painted decor and bathroom fixtures, and most of all, rude horrible customer service when approached about the issues. There are much much better places to stay than in this dark dreary dungeon.

We have never placed any orders at this hotel, including room service. But they told us to pay for the Vietnamese noodle when we checked out. We kept saying that we had never ordered the noodle, but we didn't do it properly for a long time and it disrupted our scheduled schedule to move elsewhere in the morning. I felt very bad about the staff's attitude and their education will have to be improved. However, the hotel's room condition, cleanliness, and swimming pool were really good.

All that glitters is actually gold. The obsession for gold is clearly visible in everything this hotel has to offer. From gold bath tub to basin and even the WC. The infinity pool at the top deck is the star attraction with wide sweeping views of the Hanoi skyline.

Was provided with the accommodation from 17 to 23 May 2022 by Vietnamese South East Asian Games Organising Committee. The hotel deserves my 5 stars. I am already missing the hospitality and warmth of Vietnam. Would surely put it as my 1st choice when I visit Hanoi with my family. Though there may be some difficulty communicating, the staff made every effort to ensure they deliver a great service. Using a translation app would make a better 2-way communication, to show good respect to each other. Thank you Dolce By Whyndham Hanoi Golden Lake Hotel for the great memories.

We stayed 2 nights on the 18th floor but the view wasn’t worth any extra that we paid for a high floor. The room was nice, quite spacious with a large bathroom with plastic gold coloured fixtures. The staff were fabulous, as always here, and had the best spoken English of all the hotels we’ve visited on this trip and were her knowledgeable and helpful when needed. The pool was stunning when the sun was setting but no clear skies, presumably smog or just hazy. They were closing it the next day, 26th Dec 22 for refurbishing which is probably why there was no cafe/bar there too, just a large empty room. Their Gold Tomahawk steak was 12m vnd so we gave that, and their restaurant a miss, it did all look nice though.

We LOVED this hotel! The facilities were amazing, but the best thing is the gold pool on the rooftop with the amazing view of Hanoi! Great staff, great food, and a very comfortable bed!
