This lovely hotel is new, very clean and good location. You can walk to the lake, restaurant, museum and post office just in few minutes. Almost of room has windows, it's much better than most of hotel in Hanoi. I love having Pho in the breakfast room on top floor with great view of city. And the helpful & friendly staffs will make you a comfortable and enjoyable stay!!!

We had the most amazing stay. Brilliant location, spacious and clean rooms with toothbrushes, water and pot noodles. We arrived at 5am and were able to get an early check in, they also upgraded us to a much bigger room with a balcony (free of charge)! Lien, the manager helped us plan and book our ha Giang loop tour and organised for pick up to ha Giang from the hotel. She also arranged for a bus to Ninh Binh after the loop and spoke with our next hotel to make sure we got there ok. Hung who was at the front desk was there to assist us 24/7, he was so friendly and polite, he also messaged us after we left to make sure we got to ha Giang and then ninh Binh. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you’re going to Hanoi you must stay here!!!

Situated on Hang Tre street in the old quarter, I was surprised by the room's tranquility. Arriving late in the evening, I could conveniently book a room online and swiftly access room 801. While the staff was affable, I'm unlikely to revisit this hotel. The room doors, akin to patio extensions, had frosted windows that neither blocked light nor sound. The bathroom bafflingly featured a non-functioning washlet toilet, though a functional voi ve sinh, bumgun, shatafa compensated with low water pressure, similarly affecting the shower's functionality. (-1 point) Notably, the water heater required activation via a switch on the wall, which lacked signage, resulting in an unforeseen cold shower the following day. (-1 point) Considering these aspects, I opted to check out, a decision I appreciate since my subsequent hotel choice was remarkably better. The bed was relatively soft with a cheap foam mattress on a wooden base. (Neutral) Although the room advertised 28 sqm, cluttered furniture left no usable space, even necessitating the use of the counter top for opening carry-on size baggage. Those with larger luggage would struggle. The A/C functioned, albeit not optimally cool. An extra fan had been added. Placement of items was somewhat inconvenient; towels were absent in the bathroom, requiring a trip to the TV area. The provided soap appeared diluted and repackaged, raising concerns. (-1 point) Priced at around 550k for the night, the cost felt excessive considering the location, with 250-300k/night being a more fitting range for the quality they offer in this area. (-1 point) Service recovery involved the staff acknowledging the need for a sign in the bathroom to aid guests in operating water facilities. This approach seemed logical, given their existing sign illustrating what not to do in the bathroom. It's perplexing that this idea hadn't been implemented earlier, considering their years in business. In conclusion, I won't be returning. A rating of 2/5 stars seems fitting.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean and tidy. Safe to stay. We didn’t lock the door for an evening and didn’t lose anything. It’s a few streets away from the busiest area so it’s quiet at night. The breakfast has many choices and yum.

Firstly, this hotel offers airport transfer, but they are also really near from the bus stop if you take number 86 directly from the airport (about 40 mins ride). The rooms were small but the bed was big. The bathroom had 3 different modes to bath which was really helpful. I loved that this hotel was walking distance to walking street and it was really accessible. Have many nice food around as well. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. They also can help with booking of tours but I already had it done. Definitely a nice place to stay if you are a budget. The cleanliness could be slightly better as the pillow sheets were slightly dirty.

The rooms are very beautiful, and quiet. Room had a giant, comfortable bed. There's a kettle, A/C, fan, big wardrobe, desk, and a nice TV. It's located in the old quarter, and very close to Hoan Kiem lake. If you're leaving Vietnam, or entering, the bus to the airport stops directly across from the hotel which is convenient. Well stocked mini-fridge if you can't be bothered to go out, and not that much more than Circle K. Restaurant on the top floor which makes a nice breakfast for 50k. A/C main power is located in the lobby, so make sure they see you when you return or you'll be sweating in your room and unable to turn it on. That said, there isn't always someone at the front desk which could be a security issue. I had to fish my keys off the hook behind the desk a couple of times to get back into my room (you have to leave the keys at reception if you leave the hotel). Water could have been hotter - luke warm doesn't cut it, but I like really hot showers. Enjoyed my stay.

Front desk was exceptional. I didn't catch all the names, but Lily and Hieu were so very helpful and kind. We were enrolled into a food tour and a day tour easily. The room was clean, with a hot shower and a very soft bed. It was close to all the hub bub of the area, but super quiet at night. We loved Hanoi and Stella Hotel. I would absolutely book this room again.

    (1) Convenient location: in the Old Quarter area, opposite to the bus stop (esp. bus 86 to the airport), just 5 min walk to Cafe Giảng & 15 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. (2) Supportive staff & good service. (3) Flexible policy: they upgraded a much better room class for me without further charge; my flight was delayed and they just charged vnd 150k for more booking from 12pm to 3pm. (4) Not including breakfast in the package, but it's still ok to me. -From a passenger from Saigon visiting Hanoi in Nov 2023, room 401-

Pretty decorations near the stairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Beds are way too soft ( for us). Bathroom for the smaller room is a bit too small. Quite good in general.

A great hotel in a very convenient location. The staff are so friendly, we booked a limo bus to our next destination with reception and they couldn't have been more helpful. 100% would recommend.

We recently had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Hanoi Stella Hotel for three nights and our hearts are still nestled in the warm embrace of this exquisite establishment. Situated in the vibrant heart of Hanoi, the location afforded us the luxury of strolling through the city’s captivating streets with utmost ease. The rooms we were initially provided were a haven of comfort, showcasing pristine hygiene, especially in the bathrooms, which is always a big tick. The jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the staff whose proficiency in English was matched only by their boundless kindness. Their welcoming smiles immediately dissolved any travel-weary tension, making our interactions with them utterly delightful. Our adventure beckoned us to Sapa for a few days, but we found ourselves yearning for the comforting cocoon of Hanoi Stella. Without a second thought, we booked it again for our final night in the city. To our sheer joy, we were upgraded to a family room—a spacious sanctuary that made us wish we had booked it every day of our stay. The room was a cornucopia of comfort, boasting ample space, heavenly beds, and a top-notch air conditioning system ensuring a cool retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The reception was a redux of our initial warm welcome, the sweet receptionists again greeted us with tea, making our return feel like a homecoming. Their attentiveness added a golden touch to our already stellar experience.

Great hotel in the middle of the old quarter bustle of Hanoi. Clean, well stocked room. Our king bed was made of two mattresses and very soft. The hotel staff is extremely attentive and always interested if you have additional needs or would like help booking the next stage of your travels. Friendly and Good English. Bring cash if you don’t want to pay the additional credit card fee.

The staff were great. They just can't wait to help you sort out any tours you want to go on, or car to airport etc. Room was clean & comfy. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was up on the ninth floor so amazing views across the city to enjoy. Breakfast was good, we chose an omelette & pancakes from the menu. Both were very good. There was plenty of choice of other breakfast foods on offer as well as tea & coffee.

Lovely hotel, best location and nice rooms with balcony. And let me tell you about the people! The staff was super forthcoming and helped me with everything. I even stole their key for a week (oopsie) and when I came back they gave me the superior room frew of charge. I can't thank them enough, came as a guest, left as a friend. Hope to see you soon Kelvin, take care! Love, Fabian

Such a nice hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. I came a bit too early before check-in time and decided to go get some coffee. When I came back an hour later, my bags were put in my room for me and the A/C was turned on! How sweet is that?! I really appreciated it. My room was very nice and clean. Every single staff member I encountered were so friendly and professional- all spoke English very well. Breakfast was excellent- on the rooftop! Coffee was very good. I would stay here again!

The hotel staff were really helpful in providing us the information when we asked them for suggestion. They do not hesitate to help with the luggage once we arrived. The hotel is value for money. Suitable for budget travellers. The breakfast has limited variety. Overall stay was satisfactory
