Stayed here few days ago and absolutely liked it. Staff is super duper nice, friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. Girl at front desk, I think her name was Mia, was the best and others were good too. She helped us book trips, give us local recommendations, call restaurant that we couldn't find the entrance to (found out the entrance was inside an eye glass store), book taxi. We had breakfast included and they made special vegan food for us. Overall, the best hotel service I've experienced. They do money exchange for those who are short timed. Room was spacious and housekeeping did a very good job of cleaning. Breakfast had plenty of options including western and local food and fruits. Highly recommend Bonsella to all my fellow travelers visiting Hanoi and want to stay in old quarters which is close to many activities and convenient for day trips.

The staffs are very nice and hospitable!!❤️ They helped us to call many taxi drivers for helping us to go back to our company's hotel, which is far away from Hanoi. Although the room is not very big, it's clean. There's also some beautiful scene on the roof.

Amazing location in the heart of the Old Quarter - very easy to walk around to tourist attractions as well as food and drink places. I stayed at the Premier Room which was nice and clean, and the front desk service is very helpful. Note that they close the hotel entrance at around midnight, so if you plan to come back later than that, inform the front desk and make sure that you have a mobile plan to call them to open the door (it took me a few tries for them to pick up the phone).

Outstanding service. Tracy, Anna and Ocean are a credit to the hotel. Super helpful. Rooms are 20+ sqm and very clean. Breakfast - great view, spread is decent, including fresh fruit and made-to-order pho. One street away from Hoan Kiem Lake. We stayed 4 times (7 nights) and were upgraded to the Executive Room (pictured) on the 3rd and 4th visit, very nice.

If you want to travel to Hanoi, I highly recommend this hotel! This hotel located at the crowded street, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to tourist attractions! And when you check in, you can get a welcome drink and free fruits in your room. The hotel receptionist is really helpful and friendly, she mark all the tourist attractions on the map and recommend the local food for us! Not only her, even though others receptionist was very friendly!

We drank a few beers at the skybar of the hotel. It has a nice view, staff was nice, but the bar itself was deserted and seemed a bit neglected. Prices were triple as high as we’ve seen at much nicer places. We’re going somewhere else next time.

We are allow to check in early. Room are cozy and clean. Excellent aircon and shower. Located 5min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Simple breakfast and their Pho is good. And top floor is a rooftop bar. Best hotel staff. Keep it up.

Exceptional service and great location. The hotel receptionist named Eddie was really helpful and informative. He provided us so much information and suggestions for food, and places to go. The room is a little bit small but the decoration is really classy and cozy. We had great experience during the stay. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My lengthy stay at Bonsella hotel for holidays turned into a surprisingly pleasant experience. Your friendly staff Andrew made me feel like I was staying in a home-away-from-home. He never fail to put a smile on his face and for the 7 days 6 nights with you guys were absolutely amazing. I honestly think Bonsella Hotel is so fortunate to have a Part Time Staff like Andrew who put in 100% of his effort to do his job well even though he toggles between university and work at Bonsella Hotel. I hardly write reviews but i feel this is important because there are far too much people around the world who truely deserve one but didnt get the recognition.

My husband and I stayed here last week and enjoyed our experience very much. The rooms were clean and nice, the hotel is in a great location in the Old Quarter, but more importantly the front office staff did an amazing job. Mia was very helpful and friendly!

They may call themselves a 3-star hotel, but their service is up there with the 5-star ones. We were honestly not expecting the kind of hospitality we received here. The staff always had a genuine and happy smile on their faces, they eagerly rushed to help us with our luggages and made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger (we love you for this btw, after a long flight, carrying heavy luggages up a set of stairs was a daunting task just to even think about), always opened the doors for us when we arrived and left, remembered to get us umbrellas when they saw us leaving empty handed toward the drizzling rain, helped arrange shuttles to and from our next destination, and so much more. They also kept us on the same floor when possible, and when more people in our party joined, they found rooms on adjacent floors so we could be close together. They were incredibly friendly and so so so kind and thoughtful. They recognized us every time we entered, reminded us what time our rides were coming to pick us up, and remembered to deliver our laundry to us after we came back from a long day out. I honestly cannot recommend a better hotel experience than this. Come here and feel like a part of the Bonsella family.

Good hotel to stay. Front desk staff Tracy is a great lady. Location wise, Hoan Kiem Lake is just 3 mins away, and this hotel is near to everything.

I had a 7days great stay at this hotel! Location is very very good, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious (noodle and egg were provided when asked ^^*) and the staff was soooo kind and friendly! The staff is able to speak in English and very little Korean was always so helpful whenever I had questions about my stay in Hanoi. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly & very helpful. The location is in Old Quarter so close to the city center lake and tourist stores, attractions and restaurants. But, because it is near city center, it can be noisy, but bearable. Breakfast is included. There are quite a lot of customers who took their children to stay there as well.

From the first day, I called Bonsella Hotel regarding a booking and spoke to Tracy, we were treated with such professionalism and friendliness. Tracy booked us in and arranged for a ride from the airport, even asking us to let her know if there were any problems on her day off!! I would never expect such dedication to an employer as Tracy’s dedication. She offered so much great advice in our seven nights here and was always free to chat on WhatsApp when I asked questions of her from restaurant suggestions to spas and more. Not only Tracy but Janice and Van spoke fabulous English; they are friendly and accommodating and excellent hospitality workers. I commend them. Mr Ocean and Ms Anh are both friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Always willing to lend a hand and give suggestions. One day Anh spent a long time with me helping me with airfares, and drivers, suggestions, bookings and much more. She was fabulous. The three bell boys were so sweet. Always serving with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. The location was amazing. We tried many places but this is the best!!!! We will be highly recommending Bonsella hotel to all our Australian friends and others. The location is marvellous, and the service is wonderful. The room cleaning was excellent and facilities top class.

Small but clean and comfortable boutique hotel. Staff was very accommodating, hospitable and helpful. Food has a small selection of choices but very fresh and tasty. You can request Pho for breakfast 😋 2 mins walk to Hoan Kiem lake and is very convenient to get to everywhere. All of these for very reasonable price! I will definitely come back.

Perfect holiday accommodation! Affordable and right in the middle of the bustling city. Short walking distance to everything. Ocean and team were SUPER. We were greeted with friendly smiles and conversations. Breakfast had a good variety - worth the price! Go up to the 12th floor for beautiful view of sunrise - very quiet and beautiful space. They were informed of my birthday and they prepared a personalised cake and surprise! Forever thankful. Will definitely be back next time. Just note that you gotta climb a short flight of stairs up to the lobby reception. When you’re back late at night and the shutters are down, just ring the bell at the right

Very friendly staff and a great location. Close to the night market but far enough from all the noise. Their sky bar overlooking the Hoan Kiem lake is quite nice too.

Wonderful boutique hotel. If you are a tourist, probably an excellent location for exploring Hanoi / the old quarter. Rooms are smallish but very clean, comfortable and just great. Excellent service: the staff even helped me get the carry-on handle fixed (which broke on the way over), and packed breakfast for an early morning flight. You couldn't ask for more friendly and welcoming people who go out of their way to help you. The only bit I didn't understand is why I paid VND 470,000 for an airport pick-up but only VND 350,000 for the drop. But that's just a minor quibble.

Excellent hotel in the middle of Old Town, accessible to lots of landmarks. Rooms are clean, amazing view, excellent breakfast included and staffs are attentive.

Staff are very helpful and professional! They treat us like friends in a very polite way. Breakfast buffet is nice, and with choices of crepes, pancakes, omlettes, noodle soups and French toasts. Room is quite clean for a clean freak like me. The only down side is that the next building is under construction. It gets a bit noisy from about 6.30 am. Ear plugs are provided in the room. Overall it is a pretty nice stay.

We stayed here 5 nights before and after our travels through SE Asia. It was our favourite place to stay on our 7 week trip. The hotel is clean, bright and comfortable. The staff is amazing! Everything is within walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and we loved it. The location is perfect near by the lakes, not so crowded and noisy. The rooms are nice, light and clean. The staff in the reception was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was outstanding and the girl 😍 who served it, was really nice smiling and gave us the best service we had in Vietnam. Amazing hotel with superb staff. We immediately received great service when checking in and were positively surprised when we first saw the room. It was extremely clean and simply looked great. Great breakfast and even received a small goodbye gift when checking out. Very good value for the price and the location is also ideal. 10/10 will definitely recommend to others.

I can't say enough positive things about the staff here. Exceptionally friendly and helpful, and just made you feel like you were coming home when you returned from a day out. Our family room was large and had everything we could possibly need -- they've included thoughtful touches that we really appreciated. (Like, we had other hotels leave dragon fruit on the table, but only Bonsella thought to include a knife.) Breakfast was so good (my son recommends the banana crepes, while I can vouch for the pho). And the location could not be better.

Rooms are clean, directly in Downtown. Staff went above and beyond to book activities with information, security and services for the airport. Amazing breakfast. I stayed for 3 days and booked again went I came back in Hanoi. Would recommend for everyone. Price is challenging the hostels nearby and it’s worth paying a bit more(6-10$) to have a confy bed with your own restroom.

The hotel was great! Awesome accommodations, great location. The staff was soooo helpful. Let us come back (when we weren't staying there) and let us leave our bags there for the day as we galavanted in Hanoi (flight that night). Helped us with transportation to the airport, different towns in Vietnam, train station, etc. Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant manager was super kind and aimed to please - very cool guy. Highly recommend! Loved waking up to the sound of the market in the mornings in the street.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is epic, the rooms clean, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast make sure you have rice noodles which aka is fresh pho. Excellent location, you can walk anywhere, close the one little lake, great vendors and food near by and just all around excellent service.

Staff was very warm and accommodating. Also were willing and eager to help at every corner.... Luggage, taxis, booking tours, recommendations. You name it!!! Room was clean and comfortable. Location was amazing... Near the lake and the night market.

We stayed in Bonsella for 4 days. As soon as you enter the hotel, the front desk staff gives you a download of do's and donts' in the city along with a pamphlet listing places to visit. Most sight-seeing places are walking distance from the hotel or a few minutes ride away. The hotel is located in the Central market and is 2 minutes from the Hoan Kiem lake. They even assist you in booking sight-seeing tours to Halong Bay, Sapa Valley, Cat Ba and Ninh Binh. The rooms are spacious and have ample natural light. The breakfast was quite good - would certainly recommend their Pho. They have sufficient vegetarian options as well. They even packed us breakfast because we had to leave early one of the days. The staff also kept our luggage after we had checked out. There is a bar in the basement which once can try. They've vegetarian/vegan restaurants nearby too. Would recommend them 10/10.

The best location to walk to  Ta  Hien Street, Night Market,  Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi.  and Hoan Kiem Lake.  The staff are also very friendly.

Great location for exploring the Old Quarter. We used Hanoi sort of as home base while exploring other regions of northern Vietnam and had a great experience here. The rooms were pretty standard, decent size and clean. The staff was what made it so wonderful. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. They booked us a bus to Sapa just two days before departure and arranged everything perfectly. They were also helpful in getting us to and from the airport and just general knowledge about Hanoi. Highly recommend for the staff alone.
