While I’ve seen many drastically overrated restaurants here in Hanoi, some probably due to inexperienced travelers excited (naturally enough) about their fresh experiences here, and others apparently from fake reviews, this is NOT one of those places. The place is beautiful, the food was both delicious (especially my Malaysian curry) and beautifully presented and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. Our server was pleasant enough though unable to answer most of our questions, even when presented in Google translate. He simply didn’t know much at all about the food he was serving, it seems. Still, an excellent experience. Fairly priced.

Great veggie place to visit in Hanoi! We spontaneously find it and were really happy to find it! Great service, tasty food and affordable prices. We had papaya salad, rice pockets with spirulina and some noodles with tofu. Everything was great and refreshing. Recommend

VEJO is a surprisingly spacious and airy oasis within a bustling neighborhood offering healthy and tasty vegetarian treats at a very attractive price. Service was lovely and everything is sparkling clean. I ordered from the afternoon menu that has a concise but nice mix of Asian and Western starters, mains, and fresh juices. VEJU is therefore perfect for both a healthy meal and a light snack.

Cozy place with a really unique menu of various dishes I've never tried before. The staff are polite, food is tasty, and most important it's all vegan / vegetarian.. unlike the other restaurants that claim to be "vegan" for search engine purposes 😅

Cozy and clean place with 4-5 tables around. The staff communicated via walkie talkie to inform the orders. They had a small open lift to send the food down to the seating area from kitchen. The vegetable curry with naan was decent. The curry was infact good and naan was ok. The curry had tender peas with peels and it was nice and crunchy to eat. Blue pea sticky rice had a filling inside the sticky rice and the dish was ok. They accept cards here.

Beautiful food, lovely staff 5 stars all round. Ate twice yesterday, at night was busy so got table upstairs on my own. Love people but was great to eat alone (& had great chat with staff member, he helped me & hope helped him.....life!). Oh & cool elevator for getting food from kitchen 4 floors up to restaurant floor. Had to include pics, NEVER stop learning! And beautiful food & drinks. RECOMMEND!

First of all, they can't make hot coffee, only cold, which means coffee is not fresh. Food? We ordered four different orders from the menu, one of them was 5/5 (blue sticky rice), miso ramen was 3/5 (could be 5, but as all ingredients were cold, the whole ramen became cold very quickly. Summer rolls was okay, little bit overpriced. We also got some soup with tofu, which looks like mexican soup with corn and spicy tofu, but tastes and looks like leftovers from the fridge. I love the idea and story behind the place, but in my opinion if you write in menu that you not using animal products, you shouldn't have milk or eggs in the same menu.

We ate here for lunch and dinner. Our lunch was the best we’ve had in all of south east asia so far. The patties and fried spring rolls and mushroom were AMAZING. absolutely incredible, such a joy to eat the entire time. Our dinner was tasty but not as good as our lunch. I would go back again - there are ton of options on the menu.

Solid place for vegans! The food portion is great for its price. Their mushroom dishes are all must-try! New selection of salad, which is more aligned to Vietnamese cuisine than their regular Western style salad, is so delicious. Staffs are welcoming, too.

Vegetarian eatery with vegan options labelled in the menu. Mainly Asian-Western fusion dishes as well as a selection of traditional Vietnamese food. I liked the emphasis on whole-food plant-based ingredients, though the light / clean / healthy taste might not be something everyone is accustomed to! Located a few minutes' walk from the entrance of the Train Street.

Food is very fresh and tastes amazing. I had blue sticky rice with seaweed and nuts and brown-rice noodle salad. Both were super tasty. Restaurant staff is also very helpful and friendly. They speak very English and suggested some good dishes to choose from.

One of the best vegan restaurants in Hanoi. The restaurant has a really cozy vibe and the food was really yummy. Brown rice tea was exquisite and the blue sticky rice apitizer was so comforting. Fried tofu with salted apricot was irresistible:) Highly recommend!

I love the food here. It has been difficult looking for halal, vegetarian or vegan food in vietnam. So when we stumbled across this place, we were really impressed at the taste of the food! truly worth it. They make one of the tastiest vegan dishes!! The atmosphere is calming, with serene music which just makes it all the more enjoyable. Would definitely come again to try other delicious looking dishes here! Had the ramen, glass noodles and miso soup. Appetisers of spring rolls and mushroom cheese which was delicious! 😋😋😋

A lovely find, all dishes we ordered was very tasty, the spring roll is a must (I forgot to take a photo). The eggs in the ramen miso is delicious. The ambience is very chilled, highly recommend if your looking for a meat free option.

The best veggie restaurant in town. I am so in love with the concept of mushroom. They definitely enlighten mushroom at another level. You should make reservation for lunch on weekdays, they are usually occupied. First time here? Take my recommend: Tha Thinh and Pumpkin soup. Also, they serve cashew milk with tea/coffee, love it!

Cute veg restaurant, with a pretty big menu. Portion sizes are really big so is the perfect place to come with a few people to try more from the menu! I went alone and had fried tofu with apricot which was delicious and the laksa minus the egg, which was really good and not too heavy, I was surprised how much I could eat as I'm not the biggest eater. The atmosphere is really nice, playing nice soft music with the perfect level of light. Service was prompt and friendly

Good location, tasty vegetarian food, decent prices, cozy atmosphere. Everything I personally demand from a veggie place it is here. They also serve coffee outside eating hours (dinner time starts at 17:00). Absolutely recommend the Miso ramen!

The food was delicious and high quality. We got the vegetables curry and naan. We really endorse vegan/vegetarian restaurant. This is cool to see that the whole-food, non-processed oriented diet is booming even in this side of the world. The dishes were very stylish. You can see that the cooks put their heart in them. We waited a little bit to obtain our food but nothing too dramatic. The menu is more pricey than the other restaurants and the portions could be a tad bigger.

Nice decorations. Food has been better. Service was much nicer half a year ago. Frustrating parking. Rice and noddle side orders are not listed. Too bad, I used to like Vejo very much.

Hands down one of the best places i ate in Hanoi. Cost was very reasonable. I am not a vegan, but cannot understand why there isnt a queue outside this restaurant most nights. Recommend going to Vejo!

What an amazing restaurant! Food was delicious. Went with a friend who's not vegetarian and he still enjoyed it a lot. The blue rice is a must try! Place looks really nice too. Would go again anytime.

I love this Place, I LOVE THE FOOD! we had our lunch here, they really cook with love and have amazing recipes. Full of locals, which is the best sign. So happy to find a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant with traditional Vietnamese taste. And actually for Dinner I had to have it again today, so I had it brought to the hotel via grab app. And they prepared it so well, it was totally fresh and I could put the sauces myself. Perfect.

One word to describe Vejo: WOW! If youre looking for delicious Vietnamese food, great service, and chilled atmosphere, look no further. My wife loved the food here so much that was all she could talk about. And honestly, I dont blame her. I highly suggest the Miso Ramen with vegetables and egg. Im drooling while writing this review just thinking about it😋🤤

Overall the food is good and nice atmosphere there. The only problem that I gave 4 star is the food portion, quite small for each. I went with the lotus menu and there was not much to offer...

we ordered miso ramen and a dish called mi y nha lam. it is supposed to be a spaghetti with mushroom and a red sauce. i’m not quite sure whether it is supposed to be a bolognese or a marinara. but the spaghetti dish was awful. it was very bland. but the miso ramen was good. i looooove the broth!

Quality food, quality staff, quality ambience. Even with our special dietary needs (no alliums) the staff patiently introduced each and every dish that we can eat. Food is very good, even better than a certain popular eatery starting with 'Uu'. Reasonable prices for the standard of food. Strongly recommended. Had their miso ramen, fried mushroom w salt, grilled rice powdered mushroom, fruit salad and roasted rice tea.

Great vegetarian restaurant in Hanoi. We went here and got blue sticky rice! Wow, this is a must try here. It’s like the texture of mochi/daifuku and it has a creamy chickpea inside filling, 10/10 ! We also got the curry with homemade naan and a tofu mushroom noodle soup. All was super tasty, it is a little more expensive than the average veggie buffets here in Vietnam but well worth it to try out some delicious alternative options

Were looking forward to eating here after seeing very positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were completely put off our meal due to our waiter who was continually coughing and spluttering and sneezing (including when he was serving us). The odd sneeze / cough would have been fine and normal, but this was 70+ times in the short time we were there. It’s a shame, as I’m sure the experience would have been less stressful if this didn’t happen. Unacceptable especially in these covid-19 times. The food however was nice tasting, great that it was vegetarian, even though we couldn’t fully enjoy it.

Great option for vegetarians or Kosher keepers. The restaurant offers amazing flavoured Vietnamese dishes made in a professional, neat, worldwide level. All that we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of surprising refreshing flavour. The service was great.

Great vegetarian place with vegan options! Stopped for lunch and had some beautiful food, including blue sticky rice and apricot coconut yogurt. Ambience was lovely, chilled, and the place is gorgeous. Has different floors to. Seat more people. Service was also great, very friendly staff!

Overall the food is pretty good, staff are polite and considerate. I like rolls, mushrooms with crackers the most. The salad sauce is a little salty though. I tried brown rice tea but it tasted too plain to me :)
