Great place in Hanoi to catch a movie and the place for your IMAX experience here in Hanoi. English proficiency of the staff is good. No break, so get your drinks and popcorn beforehand.

Visited while in Vietnam as I’ve never seen imax before and also wanted to see the new dr strange film. Imax didn’t seem as great as I expected, basically just a big screen. The cinema was really good though. I rate it 2 stars because I thought the staff were rude and unhelpful, I was waiting but then they started serving local people before me, perhaps because I’m white and perhaps the person didn’t feel comfortable speaking to me in English but the service was poor so unfortunately I have to mark them down.

Great place to watch a movie in Hanoi. The IMAX cinema is clean and comfortable, the seats recline slightly and the temperature in the cinema isn’t too cold. The sound and experience is exactly as you’d expect from any IMAX cinema! The cinema is located inside Vincom Metropolis which has many restaurants to grab a feed at before or after your movie, if you haven’t already filled up on popcorn!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting CGV movie theatre in Vietnam and the experience left me thoroughly impressed. The visual and audio quality, especially in the IMAX room, was simply breathtaking. The high-resolution visuals and immersive sound system truly heightened the cinematic experience, making every scene come to life in vivid detail. On the culinary front, the cheese and caramel popcorn were exceptional. The cheese popcorn had a perfect balance of savory and cheesy flavors, while the caramel popcorn was delightfully sweet and crunchy, a perfect accompaniment to the movie. The collectibles, including themed popcorn boxes and water bottles, added a charming touch to the overall moviegoing experience. It's always great to have mementos that tie in with the movies being shown. Lastly, the theater and lobby design, themed around movies, was captivating. The attention to detail in capturing various movie styles and incorporating them into the decor truly set the mood for the cinema visit. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're transported into a world of cinematic wonder. This location is great as it has the VIP cinema where you can lie on a large bed while watching the movie. Also, it is not crowded so easy to get a seat.

Spacious. Nice place for family & couple Wish people get to know this place more.

I have a chance to join the Avengers Endgame offline fan in here. It's an unforgettable and interested experience. One of my favourite here is Caramel popcorn. It's just my opinion, its taste is so sweet but i dont know why i like it much

The imax screen ia extremely dark, i could not see anything, its horrible, i'd rather watch non-imax screen instead. The only kind of pop corn they sell there is sweet and cheese. No salty popcorn, EVER. Also coke zero is only available in can not fresh. Staff is very rude and not cooperative. This is a stark contrast from other CGV facilities even though this is like the only imax in Ha Noi. The other imax screen is in Aeon mall which is very far away

Very nice IMAX theater, Dolby Atmos sound system is also really good. Quality of the 3D is also very good. However I faced an unexpected issue. I was bitten by bedbugs 3 times. It's really unexpected at a state-of-the-art theater like this. If management see this post, they should inspect the seat K15

Went to see Super Mario in IMAX, there was not light, no nothing… Turned out, they forgot to start the movie… Fantastic!!

Smallish mall of about 4 floors. Has a big Vinmart supermarket in the basement. Other shops are usual mall suspects. This mall is mainly to serve the apartment complexes there more than anything else. Little out of the way from French quarter area. Nothing special to draw me here again.

For s.o need. At the same F of CGV, there is an ice cream shop (Thailand style, I guess), and for durian fans, they have durian ice cream with crunchy cone: 50vnd. 1 scoop only

Nice cinema in Liễu Giai. I went to cinema at noon so it was not very crowded. Totally enjoyed!

Great Imax screen. Comfortable seats and seating arrangement . Sound was a bit low , especially for an Imax. (Saw Across the Spiderverse)

When in for the Oppenheimer on Imax, shouldve gone for normal 2D instead, the film is not worth to watch on Imax.

On July 16, our screening for the film flash started at 23:05, but they only let us in at 23:12, and the film was already on, we missed the beginning of the film and all the trailers

Modern and comfortable lobby while waiting for the movie to start. Very comfortable chairs in the movie theater. Good sound and big screen. A spacious garage and easy elevator access to theaters.

Their customer service staff are awesome! They provided us with splendid service, plus they helped me walk through the online reservation process. The place is impeccable and their popcorn is to die for.

Clean, organized, nice staff. Went here to watch GOTG 3. The cinema is very nice. The only complaint I had was it was really hot in the theater room and I had to ask them to turn up the Air conditioner which they did.

I watched Avatar 2 in IMAX. It was great. I want to watch the movie again. I wish the movie was little bit louder.

Finally I can watch movies again in Hanoi!! Watched the Spider-Man No Way Home in IMAX, but one big problem is they don't even have a counter/machine for redeeming the tickets with QR code, if we bought to them online. The whole idea is to not wait in line and grab the tickets easily. I really hope they can make it easier.

Movie theater with an IMAX screen at the top floor of a mall. The screen is big and the chairs are quite comfortable. Popcorns are not great.
