I was a huge fan of this place with excellent cakes and nice service. Now is just a terrible mistake to go over there. Service terrible (u will check by yourself and you will see). I do not know how much they pay the staff to work here but apparently not enough or without bonus if they don’t care about the clients. Quality of the cakes unfortunately is going down and the price is going up. I am agree to pay more if the service and the quality is here but it’s not. The cream is not good and full of fake butter, palm oil, condensed milk … bad ! Not my “fantastic” place where I was so proud before …. Sad to see than the owner doesn’t care. Never again !!!

Beautiful and tasty pastries at very reasonable prices, at least for foreign visitors like me. Then, after paying for the pastries we picked, we sat down next door at the local cafe and ordered their coffee to go with the pastries! Super chill.

This bakery was worth the walk from the old quarter every time! It has a great selection of baked goods and everything we had was delicious. The most outstanding item for us was the coconut macaroons. OMG,OMG,OMG. If you are a coconut lover do whatever you have to do to go here and try them! They are the best we have ever had! Real coconut not too sweet and I think they may fry them?? Whatever they do they are the most moist, tasty and fresh macaroons ever! Not too sweet like the North American version. Honestly they are totally perfect. All of the bakery items we tried were lovely but these babies were the ultimate and we never found them at any other bakery. We will always be stopping here when in Hanoi! One of the best bakeries we found.

Lovely boulangerie across the road from the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. Sweet and savoury pastries for not much money. Grab a tray and tongs and roam the aisles. Take the tray outside and sit at the cafe that flanks the bakery - it’s the same cafe. The coconut coffee is recommended if you’re on genuine sugar rush mission! Enjoy!

All glam and no substance. Many of these cakes look great but taste bland and stale. For a place to be successful, you need your customers to say Wow! I wish we had one of these near me. I really struggled to swallow some of the food without water, was so dry and tasteless. It's rare for me to leave food that I have paid for but these items were truly awful.

As w most places, it's not difficult to find a tasty bakery in Hanoi .. amidst the gluttony of lots of local street food, to fine french cuisine, we cannot resist the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, .. so much more can be found around every corner in the city .. We obviously had to go sit (almost squat) at the tiny table, in front of Madame Huong, watching the millions of bikes whizz by ... Madame Hương is a delicious bakery known for its Vietnamese specialty cakes tt r popular during Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year .. It's an old & famous bakery in Hanoi, founded in 1996 in Phan Dinh Phung Street, one of the main streets of Hanoi ..

Our family’s favorite cafe and bakery in that area. Cakes and tarts are worth a try, such big ones like in the photos i took we have not tried yet. We also like coffee Nau Da here.

They can bake!!! I love the breads and cakes here! I think this is the nest bakery in town. Considering the taste and price, yeah it is the best local bakery in Hanoi! They also offer coffee and some drinks on the sidewalk, in front of the store so you can enjoy the Hanoi vibes Ngon qua!

I have only tried their baguette, which was nice, and a coconut snack. The snack is a bit too sweet for my liking, but I think it probably goes well with coffee. The baguette is nice. I brought it home, toasted it, goes well with curry!

The desserts, the juices and coffees I've had were delicious, plus the service was super friendly. There is nothing to complain about, the place deserves 5 stars from.

I've been here twice and going again today. Many varieties of pastries and good tea and coffee. The pastries are is good as any I've had in Paris. It's fun to sit in the outdoor cafe and enjoy Hanoi streetlife with a pastry (or two) and coffee. 2 pastries and coffee about 85,000 dong.

We ordered 3 desserts here to go (red velvet, coconut cake, and a green tea cake with some fruit in it). This place came recommended by our tour guide and it wasn't good. The cakes we ordered were not fresh. They tasted bland and stale. Don't waste your time here.

Huge selection of pastries with reasonable price. There is an coffee shop next to eat so you can enjoy and watching the street. Bit crowded and the flavour wasn't outstanding.

Super super good desserts omg. PLEASE TRY THEIR STRAWBERRY TARTS AND THE MATCHA TART!!!! The matcha tart was a 100/10 and it tastes like white chocolate. Gosh, it’s a pity i didn’t buy more.

Famous bakery shop, but the taste is just average

  • 3/5 Xin Lin A. 1 year ago on Google
It's just like a typical bakery in Asia, with soft bread and buns, not much baguettes can be seen, but we bought the mochi bun and sausage bun, they were ordinary

I heard it is the most famous . But a little bit disappointing. There is no place to drink and eat. So, I had to go to next door cafe. But bread taste is so good. I chose bread which everyone like such as egg tarte, croissant with ham and cheese.

Nice appearance of cakes and pastries. However the taste was less appealing and only dominated by sugar. Crusty looking items are not crunchy at all.

Classic French giveaways bakery with very consistent products. Their seasonal selection is very nice
