Excellent staff and service! Beautiful 360 degree views of Hanoi and the lake. Staff are friendly and accommodating...this chic spot would be perfect for sundowners with a small or large group of friends, especially if you only want wine or beer. All of their cocktails are lacking in flavor, substance and quality. Stay away from the cocktails. Food was ok, but again, probably not the wisest choice for dining. Stick to the view, a cold beer and the sunset and you can’t go wrong.

We could see just in front of us a bar full with backpackers, probably with better prices and better views. 95,000 for a beer, which was among the cheapest things to order and then an additional 15-18% service fee. At similar price I get better views and craft beer in Australia.

Diamond Sky Bar is one of my favorite go-to places when it comes to drinking in old-town Hanoi! It is situated in the luxury hotel La Mejor, which is just in the heart of Ta Hien Street. The rooftop bar has a chill vibe. They have some promotions before 7 pm on cocktails that call Happy Hour. They have a creative menu and the prices are a little bit on the higher side.

As I sit here sweating at this rooftop bar I ask myself why they don't have any fans dotted around the place! The drinks were really good (even though they were ice filled) and the service was excellent. My only disappointment was the lack of fans in this glass house rooftop!

We went to New Year countdown party, not knowing the tickets included food & wine. So we got the cocktails and initially we thought they were a little pricey. But they were the best cocktails we ever had! The bartenders did excellent job with them, I can see from a distance they take a lot of time and work for each drink. The drinks were definitely worth the price. I can taste all the amazing complex flavors in each sip. It's not watered down with juices or anything like that so we got hangover the next day from just 2 cocktails each. We will come back for sure before our trip back to Australia.

Beautiful Spot!! Best place for Rooftop Drinks!! Staff is amazing and will even come check up on you which is such a pleasant experience. The manager is such a wonderful, friendly guy and he made our experience! They offer live music which is refreshing, fun and relaxing (we went on a Sunday night and it was perfect! The guitarist was an amazing performer & great music selection!) Beautiful city views, prices are a bit more than some places but the drinks are strong and delicious!! Seriously, they have the best cocktails here in Hanoi!! So it’s worth a little splurge ☺️ Food was delicious as well! A go to spot- especially on Sundays when they have a musician! I recently visited Diamond Sky Bar during my trip to Hanoi, and I have to say, I was impressed. The view of West Lake from the outdoor seating area was stunning, and the atmosphere of the bar was relaxing and sophisticated. The drinks were reasonably priced and well-made. I particularly enjoyed the cocktail recommendations from the staff, who were knowledgeable and friendly. The food was also quite tasty, although a bit more expensive than some other places in the area. And I was so impressed of the staff friendliness and willingness to accommodate my requests.
