What is sad about this place is that it'd take so little to make me give it a higher score... But no one in the staff seem to notice that there's a total lack of cleaning in the rooms. Showers/bathtubs, drain, faucets and sinks, bathroom floor, bathroom mirror - ALL - are disgusting. Drain smells and water won't go down, the room smelled because of it. Wouldn't dare to enter the shower without slippers. Seems that "cleaning staff" only supply new bed sheets and water bottles... Unacceptable. The reception staff and the kitchen staff are very friendly people and helpful, and honest. Thank you for that. I'd come back if cleaning got better and of you're not fussy about cleaning. Also, it's really a calmer street than we thought (after about 22-23 o'clock it's quite quiet). I also think the breakfast is alright, better than expected from the reviews.

I booked the room 1N2D via agoda. It literally stated check in 20th of august and checkout 21st of august 2023. And ironically it includes wifi, welcome drink and breakfast. When I arrived, receptionist informed me my booking for the room is only 3hours. I even showed them in agoda it stated 1NIGHT “PAID” even. Receptionist was so rude and acted it was my fault * yes in room details it stated “lounge access 3h”. I wonder he understood the meaning of “1 night” and “lounge”

We stayed there for two nights. The lady at the desc orders us a taxi and made us pay alot extra for the taxi ride to the airport so she could earn some extra. Unprofessional!

We booked this hotel on Hostelworld (and from reading the reviews I see others have as well) and were turned away at the front desk because they “do not use Hostel world to make reservations”. Unfortunately our booking was not honoured as they were full and we had to go elsewhere. If this hotel does not use Hostelworld then they should make every effort not to be available on that app. The entrance is also hard to find through an unsafe construction zone. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Very cozy little hotel tucked into downtown. The service was very friendly. Price is reasonable and the room is comfy with cold AC. Overall I recommend!

Missed the entrance as it was not along the main street. Reception was very helpful and friendly, with food recommendations for my late supper (checked in around 2200hrs). The room is small but clean enough, even if a little spartan, but then it is wallet-friendly. I was a little dismayed that there seemed to be no amenities but found the toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap and shampoo sachets behind the bathroom mirror above the sink. No towels, though, so bring your own! Also, I did not mind that the window looked at the wall that was a metre opposite. But I hated the smell of secondhand smoke that seemed to waft into my non-smoking room.

I stayed here for three nights and must tell that everything was amazing. The location of the hotel is quite close to my destination as well as some other business centres in the city. As for the room, it is excellent and surprisingly comfortable. The staff welcomed me to have lunch with them and was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I had a great time staying there and would definitely return. Without a doubt, I'd suggest this motel to others.

Really wanted to like this place as woman running it is very friendly and the stay was mostly comfortable. Unfortunately the bus trip she booked me on was a bit of a scam. She showed me a picture of the bus when I booked a ticket, which appeared spacious and nice. However the actual bus was a cramped disgusting nightmare. So disappointing.

Seemed like every hostel in Hanoi was full but managed to get a room here last minute. The private room was a good size and bed comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helped book a bus for us. It’s not really a hostel, more of a hotel so not a sociable place but good for a overnight stay

Little Hanoi hostel is an amazing place to stay for your visit in Hanoi. Pro: - Good rooms (size, beds, minibar) - Good breakfast - amazing staff (Mr River and his brothers help us organise our next transfers and a trip to Halong bay —> although the busses were rather on the expensive side, the Halong trip was quite cheap; they even helped us out when we had trouble with the trip even though we weren’t staying in Hanoi anymore) - good location Cons: - bathroom wasn’t the best (the shower and the toilet leaked a bit) - No window All in all I would definitely recommend staying here.

We booked this hotel after seeing the photos and reviews on HostelWorld but it was worth it. Rooms were small and had not window for any ventilation. Towels were not clean. Shampoo and shower gel dispenser was not working. B'fast was terrible and were given hard bread which was hard to chew. Only good this about the place was location and staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. they arranged for a cab to airport and even for some local sightseeing. They really need to improve on their infrastructure.

A great place to stay in a mint location. Right in the city center. The staff are very kind and helpful and the rooms are clean and tidy. This place is good value for a low budget.

It was in a really good spot with food and everything just a walk away. The staff were really friendly and nice. The breakfast was delicious and overall, the hotel was a pleasant place to stay in. The rooms weren’t the best though and could do with a bit more cleaning since some of the bedsheets and pillows had dirt on them. The beds were quite comfortable and easy to sleep in. The shower wasn’t very good with little water pressure and the temperature was very on and off.

Little hanoi hôtel is a lovely place to stay. It is really well located. The workers are sweet and will do anything to improve your travel. The ceilling are low so be careful if you're tall

Both of the receptionist are 10 out of 10. They are really nice, friendly and helpful, one of them helped us to move luggages to outside the street. the only minus thing is the heater ran so weak, it was not warm up enough. However, I will be back.

Very, very small room. Also cheap… don’t go through hostelworld, they dont deal with hostelworld anymore and is cheaper without it.

Rooms are different from what is shown in the photos. It is actually small and smelly. I didn't like the room. The only positive thing is location.

I think they were overbooked since after arriving the host told us that he doesn’t have the room that we booked available. After arguing a bit we got private room but there was no window and the room didn’t look like at the photos. Neither did the breakfast. There was a glass in my omlet once!!!! But the host was very nice and helpful. Location very good

The hostel is ok for short stay to visit places around Hoan Kiem lake. It's just about 30m to the lake.

Located in quiet alley (by Hanoi standards) next to Hoan Kiem lake, about 100 meters away is large supermarket with lots of imported product and about 250 meters away is the cathedral district with all its cafe and resteraunt... So location is very hard to beat. Breakfast is served daily 0700-1000 , which is enough to get you going each day. Room is clean and everything works well. Staff are friendly / helpful, price is right and most importantly for me it is very quite during the night so good sleep can be ensured. So 5 star from me... :)

I stayed there one night at little Hanoi 2, 7 May 2018. room were clean but unfortunately walking up 4th floor is killing my knee. Breakfast set was great too. I ordered bun with bacon and omelet, fruits, juice and coffee free flow. Eric the most wonderful receptionese there agree to get us lower floor when i return from halong bay cruise, so we book extra night with breakfast. when we return we were told no room available at the lower floor so he upgrade us to another hotel,Tu Linh Legend Hotel room is clean no window but we dont mind. breakfast buffet is very good as well. thank to Eric, he book a tour for us in Phang Nha, we took paradise and dark cave tour from Eric, price is reasonable in Phang Nha the tour guide Tang is a very friendly, dedicated and kind young man. We truly enjoy our trip there. Thanks Eric and Tang, you make our holiday extra special.

Lovely place just beside Hoan Kiem Lake, near shopping area, eats, friendly staff, especially the smiling Miss Moon at the reception. Reasonable rates too, very affordable, we got the twin bed room with cabled tv, ensuite bathroom with tub, mini fridge, safety box, window facing the lake. Highly recommended!

I would give this hotel 4 stars solely on the room /vs price, however they deserve an extra star for many reason. -Receptionists are extremely helpful, -free coffee, tea and fruit. -Great TV reception with many channels -great location -free snacks in the room.

Incredibly nice reception staff. Excellent English spoken and made us feel super welcome. We only stayed one night and had an evening train the next day. They gave us a late check out and let us hang out in the lobby as long as we liked, forcing free coffee and tea on us.

We went for the 2 single beds. Clean spacious room with an above average bathroom. Has a tub. Has mini fridge Mattress wasn't too soft, so that's good for me. No elevator so if you're on the higher floors be ready for a workout (especially if you have lots of luggage). Staff is friendly and considerate enough, so they'll help u as much as they can.

Good standard budget hotel. The room was clean, and beds were comfy. The staff (especially Lilly) were lovely and very helpful with reconnections for good restaurants in Hanoi and advice for the rest of our trip in Vietnam.

Super friendly personel! Rooms were always clean. The personel always offered for help when needed. Good breakfast. One of the best hotels we stayed during our trip.
