The Temple of Literature is a cool place to visit. It’s peaceful and not too crowded. We did not get the audio tour but wished we would have in order to learn more than what you can read on the signs.

Not much. Just an arch to enter the next of the layered enclosure. Have to see this in the context of the overall layout of the garden.

Located on the campus of the Temple of Literature, Khue Van Cac is an important building and can be said to be a symbol of Hanoi city. Built in the Nguyen Dynasty, Khue Van Cac has gone through more than 200 years of history but is still strong and is one of the places that attracts the most tourists when coming to Hanoi.

The gate pictured here costs 100,000 dong. It's a quiet space that belies the bustle of Vietnam. It might be a good idea to come here when you want to take a breather. However, when tour groups arrived, it instantly became lively.
