A beautiful and Historic Pagoda in a beautiful location. The only downside is the Guides are so pushy and very persistent to take their service. And at the end try and sell souvenirs and also expect a minimum payment of 200.000 VND.

Really interesting temple. Well preserved. Spend time to explore every nook and cranny. You will see interesting detail. Entrance fee is 10k. At the end of the temple. Explore the cave on top of the hill.

Nice place! But be careful with the tour guides inside the pagoda. We have to pay 300k vnd for the tour fee including tips. 400k vnd additionally for the products that we have to buy. Be careful! Don’t take anything or you will have to pay 200k-1000k vnd.

Very nice quiet small Pagoda on a little lake. Worth going up the 261 steps on the mountain to visit the Temple compound with cave.

Good experience, really nicely maintained, cultural and worth the 15k fee. Surrounding area is lovely with the mountains and pond. Also the pagoda cat is so cute!

Went here on a sunday afternoon and it was very peaceful. I was the only tourist walking around at that time. I am not sure if the structures have been renovated before but they have retained that old/ancient feel to it. If you cross the left bridge you will see a sign leading to the stairs towards more temples/pagodas on Sai Son mountain. I booked a grab bike from Hanoi for around 130K VND and took the bus going back. It is still within Hanoi but far from the city center.

Chua Thay is quite close to Hanoi, so to travel here, you can choose to go by motorbike, car, or bus. By bus: Take bus 73 (from My Dinh bus station to Chua Thay) with a ticket price of 10,000 VND/one-way. On average, there is a bus every 10-20 minutes. By motorbike or car: Drive along Thang Long Avenue. After reaching Sai Son overpass, turn right, continue for about 1km, and you will arrive at the temple. The current admission fee to visit Chua Thay is 10,000 VND. In addition, the parking fee for motorbikes is 10,000 VND/bike, and for cars, it is 30,000 VND/car. The temple is very beautiful and ancient. If you only visit below, it takes about 20 minutes. However, if you climb the mountain, it is recommended to wear sports shoes, as there are many beautiful spots to explore with stunning scenery. For those who are interested, you can also visit the fascinating Cac Co Cave.

Beautiful ancient pagoda attached to the mountain. 20km from Hanoi's center and it serves incredibly fresh atmosphere and views. Super quiet and not touristic at all.

An old temple in the rock moutain where you can see the view around in top. There is a small lake here with an ancient bombax.

A perfect sanctuary inside the busy capital. Around 40minutes grab bike from the capital's center. This place is a mixture of physical and spiritual essences to those who wanted to experience a quiet place of worship and an exciting nature trail to test one's physique. I'll rate this 6/5 stars if possible.
