I had an excellent experience here! I emailed ahead and made an appointment for 1 hr for Swedish massage with acupressure. I had a wonderful masseuse who was attentive and checked in on her strength level with me several times. The room is a shared room with curtains separating the stalls. The decor is simple but the space is clean and straightforward. It was an excellent price and a wonderful experience! I get many massages and this was probably within my top 5 best massage experiences. I wanted to tip after but I was told that they only accept tips into a communal tip box. I really wanted my masseuse to have it but I also enjoyed the no pressure atmosphere. I did put it in the box so that hopefully she will get some of that. Overall, I would come here every day if I could. My boyfriend waited for me in the seating area (he hates massages) and he said there were around 7 people that came during my massage. A very popular place and rightfully so. They shared the WiFi password with him so he wouldn’t get bored.

I had an unfortunate motorbike accident that left me with a pinched nerve in my back that was so horrible I had to crawl off of my bed to the bathroom and even with tramadol from the pharmacy I was still in pain. I had never had acupuncture and didn't know what else to do. When I got to yakushi, when they lightly touched my back, I almost jumped off the table. After one session, I could shower and get in and out of bed again. My pain went from a 9 to a 2! Everyone there was so nice! They even emailed me the next day to see if I was feeling better. Definitely recommend!

Its more likely a therapy but a massage. I felt reborn after therapy and almost call therapist mom.

One of best massage clinics in Hanoi when it comes to price-quality ratio. Very professional, relatively clean and always has English speaking staff in reception. Massages are reasonable priced and ones I have tried (foot and body massage) have been highly professional. Also in this place they tell you not to tip massagers so you don't have unexpected hidden costs to your massage.

Straightforward no-tip experience with strong, skilled masseuses. The prices are phenomenal value and if I lived in Hanoi (which would never happen) I would probably come here once a week. If you have limited time in Hanoi and want the best legit massage you can get, this is the place. The only thing is that this place is exceptionally hard to find! The alley it's on is not very conspicuous. Look for a narrow lane that slopes steeply down off the east side of Xuan Dieu, and follow it around the corner to the end.

It is not an atmosphere where you are quietly focused and getting a massage. The staff outside are very busy and noisy. Especially on weekends, it looks very busy and tends to change the reservation time unilaterally. Their skills are not as special or as good as hearsay, and they are very nomal. It is a service that fits the low price level.

Great place to take care of your physical health. The staff are well trained and polite. You can book with the receptionist before coming and inform them what you need to do. The price is clear and affordable.

Yesterday we visited this place. So...maybe they have good therapists...but I had bad luck. I have big experience with salons and different kinds of massage. It was just touching . The girl didn't pay attention for problem zones. Nothing for shoulders. I don't recommend this place. My feet and hands were so cold. Her hands as well. My friend had blanket and I had only short towel😂 Just roulette....maybe you will have good luck.

Best place to go when it is raining in Hanoi. Had a fantastic one hour, hot stone treatment. So relaxing! Left feeling fantastic. The services are also very reasonably priced. It was about £10 for a massage which is SO affordable compared to London. Carve out an hour in your schedule and enjoy some me-time in Hanoi.

I got a massage here for the first time today at the recommendation of a friend. It was so nice. You have the option of getting a lighter massage or getting one a little more serious, like a sports massage. I opted for a mix, and it was so good. You can also ask for them to concentrate on the specific area where you are having issues. My masseuse encouraged me to let her know if she should ease up or press harder. I have a lot of trigger points/ knots in my back, and she found them and worked on them really well. It was the first massage I’ve had that felt more like massage therapy than a wimpy little spa massage. I definitely hope to come back soon. They also have a little juice bar, which I didn’t get to try, but it looked soooo good!!

I had chronic pain in my neck and shoulder for over a year. After about a week of treatments I’m almost fully healed. The workers here are incredible. I’ve had massages all over the world and this place ranks close to the top. Accupuncture here is amazing, too.

I have been a client at Yakushi since 2018 and I can say that they are the best place for massage in Hanoi (and the rest of Vietnam where I have been) for me. Here are 6 specific things that I love about them : 1. Consistent quality of the service: all staff are trained and equipped to deliver the customer promise. Really good therapists!!!! Aaaaand good variety of the types of massages & packages. Gift vouchers are available and I am always confident to use them as present for my friends😊 2. Responsive and proactive stuff: they work with you through out the whole experience (meet and greet, identify needs, manage expectations, availability during the process, flexibility in making adjustments, proactive approach with feedback from the clients) 3. Quiet and calm atmosphere during the massage: phones off / quiet mode is applied for both therapists and customers alike. What I particularly like is no " where are you from chit chat" during the massage - the only communication is related to checking in with the customer about their sensations (see #4) 4. Therapists always check in with you if the pressure is ok, encourage you to communicate your needs (they always say "please tell me if you want it to be harder or softer"- I love it so much!). They can provide with extra blankets, adjust room temperature, etc. You can ask for this before the massage or during the massage and they are always ready to support your needs. 5. Prices are more than reasonable. The no tip policy is a huge plus for me as it helps to create this calm atmosphere during and after the session (as nobody will be on your case right after the massage is over like in many other places in Hanoi!) I really appreciate the respect for personal space here too! 6. Yakushi is a very tidy and clean space. Towels, blankets always feel clean and fresh, smell good, beds are comfy, bathrooms are tidy and clean too. It is just super pleasant to be there ❤️ I want to say thank you to the Yakushi team for all their work that they do and their investment in the health and well being of the residents and travellers alike🪷 P.S: I recently found out that Yakushi means healing Budha and I can say that it does feel like a healing place😊 Thank you, thank you, thank you🙏

I Made an official confirmed booking. When I arrived on time there were 2 tourists ahead of me who had just arrived. I was told they had made an error in booking and I would have to wait an hour, mean while the 2 tourists were served. I refused to wait and left. I then received a message from them saying their receptionist would pay 30% of my next booking to make up for it.

although I live quite far from this spa but I still come here whenever I have problems with my shoulder & neck. everything seems quite simple and I feel healing. hospitable & high qualified spa therapist 👍
