Mr. Quang is such a nice guy and a friendly person. I came to exchange money and then he took me to back of the shop. He showed me his banknotes, coins and other things which are his collection and as a numismatist I had to ask him for some banknotes! He kindly accept my wish and we became good friends afterwards. The rate is amazing. Don't exchange at the airport if you are coming to this area!

Their exchange rate is very fair. I exchanged my Australian Dollars (AUD) to Vietnamese Dong (VND). I gave 50 AUD and got 790,000 VND, which is fair and close enough to what my app said (794,000 VND). Other shops gave me lower rates.

We were strolling Hanoi's night market and found this place to exchange our money. The person there offered the best rate in our whole Vietnam trip. We got 25,000 dong for 1 US dollar. The best we got before that was 24,680 dong/USD at EximBank kiosk in a mall in Ho Chi Minh city. We got our money within seconds and were out of the store within few minutes. Would highly recommend this place if you're in Hanoi's city center or scrolling through the night market.

Better rates than I got in hcm and other cities, so I’d definitely wait to exchange if you’re coming here or make sure to come here before heading out to another city so you can get the best rate. Their neighbor not sure if related seems to have better business. I went two days in a row and decided to try the neighbor on 2nd day and they quoted 300 dong more for every 1 usd.. however quang huy still gives higher rate than open market

Very friendly, but direct and no nonsense. Rate for VND>INR slightly better than XE. Other exchange places on the strip were offering worse rates and complicating the exchange.

Easily the best place in Hanoi to exchange USD. I went here three times and each time I received even more money than what was being listed at that moment on XE exchange website. And the guy who runs the shop is really nice.

No joke the most fair and the best rates in North Vietnam. Maybe even all Vietnam. Less than 1% below the trading value for today. I got 23700 per USD and exchange was maybe 23800? It’s wild. Bring BIG bills ($100) you will get better rates for them. If your notes are too small, or too old you may not be able to exchange them.

The best exchange rate we’ve seen for USD and owner was very honest! He made sure we counted to make sure everything was correct, and did not rush us either.

I walked all around town desperately seeking a plan e to exchange Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). I was drawn in to Quang Huy by the sign that said "exchange everything"! This guy gave me a fair rate for IDR. The place next door which for some reason appeared much busier offered me half the rate! Thank you Quang Huy. You got me out of a pickle! 🙏

I recently visited Hanoi and found that most money exchangers there don't accept old US dollar bills. However, I was relieved to discover this place that did accept them, albeit at a slightly lower exchange rate than for new bills. This was incredibly helpful during my trip, and I greatly appreciated their flexibility. I would recommend this place to fellow travelers.

Patient to deal with, first offer wasn't great though so needed to bargain. Took about 4-5% cut to go from New Zealand to Laos currency in the end. Better rate than others we tried and not all had Laos.

Exchanged money today with very good rates. $1 AUD for $15.9k (Google shows $16k). Much better than Ho Chi Min international airport 5 days ago which gave me $16k for $1AUD and it was $16.6k on google.
