They do an amazing job providing quality coffee packed with amazing flavors to go with anyone’s preferences. I love introducing my family and friends to their coffee and look forward to my monthly delivery! Their coffee and accessories make great holiday gifts as well! Their team is extremely knowledgeable and have helped me expand my palate and try different roasts. Icing on the cake is that Alex is a bunt master.

I was warmly greeted this past Saturday at the shop and recommended some incredible beans (crazy fresh, too) that made everyone at my house party very happy. Each person that got an espresso had to know where the coffee came from. Will definitely be returning for fresh beans going forward. These two babies also enjoyed the bags they came in. 10/10 ⭐

Legitimately great coffee. We were able to watch and learn how coffee is roasted from various regions of the world. Excitedly, we purchased several kids. to bring back to friends and family in Colorado. We definitely plan on ordering more online to ship to the Rockies.

Great coffee and friendly, helpful service! The hours have historically been limited but they are expanding to be full time. We usually like to get the Hartford Blend since we enjoy making espresso, but we've tried various other roasts (pond hockey, spring blend, decaf, etc.) and all have been great.

My son brewed a batch of coffee after dinner. The aroma captured our attention but the sampling was the seller. Smooth taste tapered with a sprinkle of brown sugar and a shot of organic whole milk or just black and no additives this coffee is beyond high end restaurant coffee.

Spent the past week drinking this coffee at a club member's home in Miami and every single light roast variety that I tried was absolutely exceptional. Drip and pour over, everything had huge flavor with great tartness but low acidity and super well balanced. That bourbon wash 😍 this will forever be my go-to in Illinois

I've ordered several times in the last year, and the reason is because the coffee has been excellent, but I haven't ordered as much as I could have and still hesitate to order today. Sometimes the coffee has been roasted a few days before it was shipped, which is okay, but three times I was sent coffee that was roasted a week before it was even shipped--and that cuts down on how long it will be at its best, and I once threw out nearly half a bag because the coffee was noticeably past its prime. I never would have ordered again if the coffee wasn't as EXCELLENT as it is. I've adjusted how and when I order, ensuring I order no more than 12 oz and only when I'm nearly out of coffee, and I would suggest you do the same if you're looking to finish the bag within 23/24 days after its roasted.

Excellent customer service, he took his time explaining the variety of coffee and teas availablein store, also gave a few pointers on making an excellent iced tea. The minute you walk in you can smell freshly ground coffee and I dont know about you but that is one of my favorite smells. There are cute coffee mugs available, although we didn't get any this time, im sure we will be back for them. The variety of coffee available is great, he did mention there might be more things on the website. I can't wait to try the coffee and teas and go back :).

Amazing local coffee roaster. Alex is so passionate about his coffee and it comes through in the final product. He has an extensive range of coffees and everything I've tried from him has been great. He also has a coffee club where he gets experimental with the beans he sends out. It's been a great experience trying coffees I never would have otherwise. Maple Leaf is now my exclusive coffee provider.

This Roastery is among my favorites in Chicagoland. Their “menu” of beans is small at any given moment, but always hits the key points: light/dark, African/Asian/South American, with a couple of interesting blends too. Their selection also rotates fairly frequently, ensuring one is unlikely to grow tired of any of their expertly roasted beans. I particularly recommend their lighter roasts. I use them quite frequently for espresso and am always impressed. Finally, they seem to have hit a sweet spot for quality and price. Their prices are reasonable for a single origin bean, without ever noticing a reduction in quality. My only plaint is that their hours are limited. However, given the roastery business model, I understand. I sort of wish they would open a full coffee shop next door! I cannot recommend this place strongly enough.
