Worked ONE day in this place, the manager is very toxic, condescending to anyone that doesn’t speak her language. She literally has stopped customers using the venue rooms from tipping the staff. I worked a double event made $10 tip $75 for that work. Also do NOT eat there food. Don’t believe me have them show you the kitchen all sections and how disgusting it is in there. The way they wipe clean the plates with dirty sanatize rags. The manager lady has had several complaints but HR won’t fire her. She gotta have someone scummy on someone. Eh or they are all friends and don’t care. I would NEVER eat there again. Because on my one break i ate some food and my loaf had MOLD inside. This is the same food they fed guest. I had done a baby shower a guest was lactose intolerant. I saw the chef bare handed attempt to pull off as much cheese as he would and recover it with sauce. It only took one day for me to finish thank the ladies for training me and i was done. The micromanaging is extremely unprofessional. Again do NOT eat there. Look at the kitchen if you don’t believe me. It’s an embarrassment.

Went tubing today with the family. It was about 30 degrees out and lightly snowing. Loved the tubing! The magic carpet is very convenient to take up the hill, and there are lanes going down to make it safe. There are two picnic tables nearby, but it would be nice to have more, maybe with heaters or fire pits like I've seen at another tubing site. I saw one large group the brought hot chocolateand camp chairs! Oh, and there's a couple areas there you can just take a tube and do classic tubing on small hills. However, it was extremely slippery! They had a few mats down that helped, but there were not enough, and after time, they also became crusted over with ice. Everyone in our group of 6 fell at least once. And I went home with bruises on my shin and cheek. The place at the top of the hill where you get on the tubes was super slick and even the workers commented on it. One of them told me that they tried to radio down to request someone to bring salt, but no one was answering the walkie-talkie. I understand that the combination of elements can make things slippery, but that's where the facility needs to respond with mats, gravel, salt, railings, and more level ground in the walking areas.

Excellent Course Conditions. Would recommend to all family/friends for a great round of golf at a Course that is well maintained with nice manicured greens.

absolutely horrible! My sister had her wedding here last night, and the coordinator Lisa was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional person to work with. Acted as if she hated her job. With rain being in the forecast, and the ceremony planned to be outside. She told us hours before we had to make a decision and make a decision now whether we wanted to be inside or outside even after we offered to help set up or take down if need be. Sat in her office all day, didn’t check on anybody or offer if we needed anything. Unorganized when making the contract, served items we didn’t ask for. Not to add, Jennifer the bartender, extremely rude, hated her job and had multiple complaints from multiple people. Mother of the groom asked for a class of water & she told her she was too busy to do so. Do not recommend having your wedding here. The place was indeed beautiful and the servers who did the food were absolutely amazing. Such a great group of men and women making the experience much better. The food was great!

This is strictly based on the skiing/snowboarding experience. I have a season pass to a real ski resort in WI, but decided to check out this place, since they were running half priced "lift" tickets. I knew Villa Olivia wasn't huge and recommended for beginners rather than intermediate/advanced riders. But I did not expect this.....This is the stuff nightmares are made of. First off, the one lift they do have was shut down, as well as that side of the hill, which is what I came to check out. The only thing open for $23 was a hill that is smaller than my local sledding hill (which is free). I understand that the tickets were discounted, but nowhere was this mentioned prior to purchasing. Surprise, surprise, NO REFUNDS. Totally misleading, but I tried to make the best of it. Next up, the downright dangerous rope tow situation. There were huge craters and ruts all over the rope tow area. I mean BIG! Not little imperfections from people using them. You can tell these were never properly groomed prior to opening. Kids were falling into the center of the two ropes and getting stuck. Wreckless teenagers were flying up, completely out of control, and hurtling off to the side, hitting other people and their equipment. After I got my equipment run into a couple of times, I decided this sledding hill was not worth trashing hundreds of dollars worth of gear. The sad part is, this could so easily be fixed by cleaning up the snow a little and having some workers supervise the area. Ya know like most resorts typically do with rope tows/magic carpets/lifts? Especially when you have so many young beginners falling and fearful. A tiny bit of supervision and grooming would drastically improve this situation. So I will chalk this up to this place just being intentionally negligent. If you have ever been to any other ski resort, steer clear of this one. You will feel robbed, even at a discount. The only way I could recommend checking out Villa Olivia is if you've been unappreciative of your regular resort. I can promise you, you will appreciate it again after VO. If you're thinking of taking your kids or some beginner friends, please reconsider. There are so many safe and well maintained places in the Midwest. Take them somewhere that will help them love the sport, not hate it.

Great place for Sunday brunch buffet and even cocktails afterward at the bar in the adjacent room. Plenty of choices in the buffet and lots and lots of pastries-never seen this much in a buffet. However, the big open dining area with big round tables don't offer much for privacy. If there's only a few people seated just before brunch closing time at 1:30pm you can hear just about everything they are saying and on the other hand, it could get loud if the place is packed in the morning hours. The floor to ceiling windows all around are a big plus and picturesque for a nice sunny morning and afternoon while dining. I would definitely come back again.

I was surprised with size of the hill and almost no crowd at Saturday!!! Much much better place then four lakes skiing are!! Perfect for beginners! Only complain is chairlift can move bit faster but due to many newbies who falls all the time on unload it pretty much impossible to accomplish((

Pricey but worth it! We chose night tubing and by 9pm on Saturday there's basically no line, it's like after hours at Disneyworld. Try lane 3 and ask for a "double push", you'll love it.

Absolutely fantastic venue! I had a blast tubing! The staff are very friendly and bubbly. My cheeks are sore from smiling 2 hours straight. I'm surprised I'm not hoarse too from screaming! Do yourself a favor and go! You won't regret it.

Food was okay was there several years ago service seem to be a little bit better then ordered punch for our event was given mimosas unfortunately some of the minors that were there started to drink it before we realized they were apologetic but never got any punch they did get us some juice for the kids food was okay not very accommodating though only gave us 1 hour to decorate we did show up earlier than we were supposed to and hopes that they would let us in to start decorating and they did but an hour which was the allotted time they gave you it's just not enough to decorate

School is Out Day for my daughter and a couple of her friends. As busy as it was, they kept things organized and on track. The wait time flew by. Offered a nice junk food variety for waiting patrons. Kids were controlled and safety was very well maintained. The kids enjoyed and I was able to watch after my first ride down. Good adventure for us. Service was appropriate, pleasant and very courteous.

This was one of the worst golf courses I've ever played. The rough was longer than the US Open. He tee boxes are not level and are in desperate need of seeding. The bunkers are like hitting off the parking lot. I won't be back.

We used to come here to enjoy brunches for special occassions like Easter and Thanksgiving and even random Sundays. Too bad the phone communication and service and attitude by the team was horrible and rude to try to book Mother's Day Brunch this year. While we understand Mother's Day is booked, we wont be back.

Came here for the all you can eat fish fry, there were not many people but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The location itself was nice and they had decorated for the holidays in a festive manner. Service was good and we enjoyed the salad bar and soup. Unfortunately the fish was not that good, it came out somewhat warm but not hot like you would expect if the fish was freshly fried. Fries were also the same temperature, perhaps the food was prepared ahead of time and not made to order. The breading on the fish was pretty thick and overdone, not to my preference but within the boundaries of acceptability. Sundae at the end was nice, they rolled over a cart and had toppings. Overall it was below what I expected but it was fine for the price I suppose. One final note, I did find a hair in my food and am pretty sure it was not mine as it was partially inside the breading. I found it near the end of the meal and luckily did not put it in my mouth, did not feel like complaining since we were wrapping up and it didn't seem like it was worth the effort to make a fuss about it.

Villa Olivia is an awesome resort and I definitely recommend coming here. We’ve only been here in the wintertime so far for tubing, and that’s a very fun activity to do. Nice brunch as well! Overall a very nice place to come with friends and/or family and have fun!

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Took my uncle and cousins here for a golf outing. The course conditions were great! Every staff member we came into contact was polite and accommodating. We finished our round early enough to catch the Sunday Brunch. They had a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the people in our group was a vegetarian and would not shut up about how good their omelet was. Looking forward to going back during the winter to ski!

Lots of fun night tubing! 4 lanes and lots of great staff. Really no waiting when we went. Bartender inside was awesome, as was the server at the snack bar. Will be heading there again!

Villa Olivia was the perfect wedding venue for our late August wedding. Lisa was great to work with; she answered my questions (and there were a lot!) promptly and accommodated our needs. We needed some gluten-free and vegetarian meals and that wasn't a problem. We were also able to have our rehearsal dinner at Villa Olivia and had a Chinese tea ceremony; Lisa was genuinely interested in learning about it and making sure everything was set up correctly. The venue itself is beautiful. We got married by the pond and the nature surrounding it and wooden pergola made it the perfect setting. Inside, there are several rooms to choose from and each have great views outside. The bridal suite was big enough for my bridal party to hang out with me, although the lighting isn't the best and I did my makeup in my hotel. The staff will set up your decor if you provide instructions, which saved me so much time and stress! You have to clean up decor after the reception, which is standard, and we did feel a little rushed by the staff. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend having your wedding or other events with Villa Olivia. We got so much value for the price. It was very reasonable and everyone kept commenting on how great everything looked.

We were here for snow tubing one weeknight recently. The staff working the hill (mostly teenage boys or young men) were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. They went the extra step to ensure you had a good experience with whatever winter sport you wanted to participate in. If it werent so far from the city, i would come here more often. Would definitely recommend for a nice winter experience.

My wife and sister-in-law hosted my daughter's bridal shower here. My participation was the photographer. From my perspective it was perfect!!! The breakfast buffet was the perfect setting for the festivities.
