This place is a hidden gem.... literally. Well, not literally a gem, but literally hidden. GPS told me to make a right, where all I saw was a Nissan dealership. Nope, and instead I ended up circling around. But sure, enough, make a right when the GPS tells you too. Ignore that the car dealership is there, and pay attention to the fact there's a giant sign letting you know Vogelei Park is there. We had a barbecue at one of the seating areas with a roof and it was OK. The engineers who designed and created the shelter's roof apparently didn't like the sunrise, as the way it was angled, the unusual early June 90-degree heat and sun shone right on us during the early evening. After it got dark, the shelter had lights that illuminated, which was a bummer. Overall though, it's a great place to consider for a BBQ. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in the building, the bathrooms were good, for a public park bathroom. It had a couple of urinals and stalls. Sit or squat? Squat.

One of the isolated park in and around Schaumburg with water splash pad and a less crowded. Good for kids to enjoy and there's a small pond where people to fishing 🎣 as well

Cute little park! I came for the walking path. Nice paved loop. About .3 miles long. Great little picnic tables overlooking the water feature. Great looking play area for the kiddos.

Easy paved walking paths around pond, park for kids, splash pad, and plenty of benches to stop and sit. I bring my older dog for a walk, easy for her to handle in her old age. Well maintained lawn as well for perfect for throwing down a picnic blanket.

Nice place in the neighborhood. Trees, lake, plants, hill, kid's playground. Pleasant to walk around 💚💚💚

This is a great place to kick back and enjoy some fun. Very nice playground area and has a parking lot next to it. There’s a walking trail, splash pad, toddler play area and a nice pond. Definitely recommend!

Kids love the splash pad and the play area was good as well. Been there a couple of times now.

Lovely, but it should have a covered area for the parents, sometimes it just gets to hot there.

Its a beautiful park in the neighborhood, looks scenic and is well maintained during summers. Has a small playground, a splash pad functional in summers, walking trail and a shelter so overall its a fun place to be with friends and family.

Playground equipment was really worn. One slide was roped off because of damage or something. Water splash pad wasn't on, even though sign says it active from May to September.
