This hotel is terrible. Several weeks ago I booked and prepaid a room with a king bed, which had a higher rate than a double queen room. I'm very tall and a queen bed does not work for me. On arrival, I find that my reservation was meaningless and they've placed me in a double queen room due to their overbooking. I explained to the front desk agent that this wasn't my fault and showed her my reservation. She got the night manager who was incredibly rude and told me that I should cancel my reservation and go somewhere else. For a manager she has terrible customer service - she should probably go work somewhere else. She refused to do anything about the hotel's error in giving my room away nor did she try to make any adjustment to the higher rate that I'd initially paid to guarantee a king bed. To top it off, she flippantly told me that this Marriott is not a corporate owned hotel - as if that somehow justifies the poor experience?

Location was perfect. Close to a big mall, tons of restaurants to pick from. Target near by. Close to the highway. Close drive to the airport. Plenty of parking. Nice size swimming pool. There is a gym next to it with a view towards the swimming pool. Generous size rooms. Cleaning staff always had our room done by 11am which was really great to come back to with the kids. Pretty clean facility. Small bar was open every night for anyone wanting to share s drink. Friendly staff. I wish there were more warm breakfast options but that was our only down side. Breakfast area had scrambled eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, cheese, bread/bagel area, yogurts, juices, milk/chocolate milk, fruits, make your own waffle area. Looking forward to our next stay here.

The front desk staff is rude particularly the person this morning (10/26/23). She is more interested in flirting with the Sysco Driver and the beer truck driver than being respectful to paying guests. The idea that the hotel caters to outside groups which takes away parking from the paying hotel guests is wrong. I asked to have the general manager contact me with a look from the young front desk that indicates no one will reach out. She needs to be retrained in customer service. I will not stay here again

The female receptionist/check in attendant did not speak English very well. She did not understand questions being asked of her. Poor customer service. My son smashed his finger in the truck door and I went to the bar to get ice. I explained the situation to the bartender. He continued his conversation with a guest at the bar. Once their conversation was over, the bartender slowly got me a 1/2 cup of ice. The guest at the bar was more helpful in what to do with the injury. When I returned to the front desk the same check in attendant laughed/giggled when I explained my son was injured. Clearly couldn't understand English very well either. Cleaning sevice neglected to clean up our room 2 days....we stayed 4 nights. One out of 2 of the elevators was broken. No cameras in pool area. Important identification and papers were stolen from a bag at the pool. Hotel couldn't do anything about it.

I stay here whenever work brings me there! Staff was super helpful this trip which was a 2 week stay this time. Love the Fitness Center and the fact I can use the local full service gym down the street! Awesome perk!

The front desk staff was unfriendly and just down right rude and unwelcoming. When I checked in I was left with a bad impression but it got even worse when I pulled in to park on my second night of my stay and there were absolutely no parking spots, I asked the front desk what I should do and was told I could probably park across the street in the bank parking lot and hopefully I won’t get towed. I told him that was not a good option and I was told well that’s basically your only option if you want to park and you’ll need to move it early the next morning. It’s unacceptable to not have enough parking spots for the amount of hotel rooms you have and have the front desk workers tell you to basically take your chances with parking. Your website says on site parking I shouldn’t have to park across the street, cross a busy road and take a chance of my vehicle getting towed. My interactions over the phone asking for towels and check out weren’t any better! The hotel is nice, clean and well located if only they had staff that was half way personable and customer friendly!

I had a great stay overall! The hotel itself was nice and clean, with an indoor pool, and a 24/7 indoor gym. The front desk was also very helpful and accommodating to my requests (changing rooms due to noisy neighbors the first night I stayed). The location is great with easy access to Target, Woodfield Mall, and a bunch of restaurants. Many other hotels have a nice lobby area, indoor gym/pool, and relaxing room, but there were two details that stood out to me at FairField Inn. 1. The shuttle service was great! The shuttle drivers, John and David, were very friendly, giving me nice conversations to start and end to the work day. They are also very familiar with the area and gave great recommendations. Not only did John pick me up from work, but he also would help to drop me off at nearby restaurants or a bike trail (by Busse woods, highly recommend!) 2. Free access to the nearby Lifetime Fitness gym! An amazing facility just a walking distance away helps to keep in shape during the long trips. For the 2 reasons above, I will be returning to Fairfield Inn when I am back in Schaumburg

Very poor professionalism and managing of this property. Prior to checking in, we had asked for the mobile key. They said I couldn’t get it because I had to give a card on file, even though I already had one on file. They argued with me and said they couldn’t offer contactless check-in, but they advertise it and I’ve used in innumerable times before. Turns out they CAN and they DID! So we were able to use our mobile key without stopping at the front desk. Why say you can’t when you can?? Upon opening the door to our room, it was not serviced. There was garbage on the floor, the beds were slept in, etc. I was appalled as we’ve been using Marriotts for decades and never encountered a problem like this. They apologized and gave us a new room on a new floor. Later into our stay, I requested our room be serviced while we were gone since we were staying three nights, and they assured us it would be. Got back that evening: no clean towels, no emptied garbage cans, or made beds. Their pool was closed, but they had us use a neighboring workout facility’s indoor pool. Appreciated, yes. Convenient with kids, no. Every single time we tried to charge to the room, we were met with indignation from a different employee insisting that it couldn’t be done, and yet in the end EVERY TIME, it was successful, AND we were overcharged on items! I wouldn’t recommend this location. There are plenty of other options nearby.

I reserved a few rooms for a business trip. There was a hiccup during check-in, however Vlad took care of the issue swiftly and apologized. The Continental breakfast is pretty decent and the rooms are clean. I didn't use the amenities but a co-worker told me he liked them better than his previous hotel. We definitely anticipate staying here again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night for an overnight vacation. The property was very nice, modern, and clean. The room was the same and have no complains about it. The pool was also nice and relaxing and the complimentary breakfast was nice and filling with plenty of options. The only criticism I have is they did take a $150 incidentals deposit, which is fairly steep, and I requested to pay with cash at check-in and I did have to put a credit card on file for the incidentals (which I expected and is common practice) but they went ahead and charged my card for the room rate at around 2:00 AM, so paying with cash was no longer an option. Overall though, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I'm in the area.

We needed a hotel in a rush, home plumbing issue. The staff was incredibly accommodating! They worked with us every step of the way and made us very comfortable in a stressful situation. There are 2 things to be mindful of; the tv channel selection could be better, and I would wish for gravy with my biscuits.

Loved this hotel! Stayed here as a family with our two little boys. From the moment we checked in we could smell how clean it was. The lobby looked spotless and was beautiful! For such an affordable hotel, it looked fancy. Room was big and clean. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool and it was clean and nice. No hot tub though. It includes complimentary hot breakfast and it was good. Was close to the mall too. Would def stay here again!

Have been to this must stop hotel for 5 years. Wonderful staff, excellent rooms. Great location. Could not be any better. Wish I could give 10 stars!

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend for a wedding and had extra time to kill before going to the airport. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was yummy and the staff was kind; especially Vlad and Shelia. They provided above and beyond customer service and seemed to genuinely care about the people they were assisting. Thank you for making it an enjoyable stay!

Very nice, clean and modern. Good location. The whole 3rd floor hallway and stairwell smelled like weed when when we checked in at 3 but came back around 7 and it was fine the smell had gone. Would stay again if in the area.

This Hotel is situated in a very peaceful area and definitely has a good service to provide you with , the booking was pretty easy , budget friendly and hassle free . The room was huge with a separate living area with huge sitting set up and we had 2 TV’s in our room and the whole room was a comfortable and a cozy vibe. Enjoyed the breakfast menu too. Highly recommend FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES BY MARRIOT

By far on the list of being one of the cleanest Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott I been in. Seems updated. The staff were very helpful and caring. It’s close to a lot of good pleases both restaurants and shopping. I give it four stars for now since it was my first time staying there but it is on my last of returning.

I had the 2 bed suite with a sofa couch and the city view and it was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The pool was pretty big and for some odd reason was nice and warm (best pool ever!!) The breakfast was delicious, many healthy options to choose from. This is a great area for a little vacation because the mall is across the street and theres so many food options.

The hotel was nice and in a great location. There was very little closet space for 3 people. We stayed 6 nights and were told our cleaning day was the day we were checking out. We asked if they could come on Sunday to clean the room, and the front desk said that wouldn't be a problem. I called to make sure they would clean the room on that day, and they assured us it would. When we got back to our room that evening, our room was not cleaned. They left towels on my daughter's suitcase and emptied the garbage. They left our room unlocked with the door held open with the security latch for several hours. That is so unacceptable. The manager said they were understaffed and don't clean the rooms but once a week. I think we should have been informed of this upon our arrival. I am extremely disappointed and upset that housekeeping doesn't take pride in their job and make sure rooms are secure when they leave. We had computers, iPads and expensive jewelry that could have gone missing. Thank goodness our room was at the end of the hallway and not much foot traffic, or there may have been things missing. We usually keep valuables in the safe, but there was no safe in our room.

Room (#518) was comfortable enough but during my 5 night stay I had working WiFi on just 2 of the days and even then it was slower than slow! Also the breakfast options were below average and getting a response or a call back from the duty manager was not forthcoming. Would not stay here again as WiFi connectivity and basic customer service is key to my regular business travel.

This hotel was OK. Nothing more; nothing less. It is in a Good location; close to The Mall & Restaurants. Though, like Many North American Suburban Cities; there is No convenient way to walk to Restaurants, without walking across 8 lanes of traffic wit NO painted pedestrian walking zones across these busy streets & No Crosswalk lights (ie. "Hand"-Stop or "Walking Man"-Go).

Nice hotel. Good size rooms. Friendly staff. They have complimentary breakfast items, but I didn't partake. Has onsite bar and store for drinks and snacks. Location is central for me, so works good. And Schaumburg is a nice area.

Really nice Hotel, the rooms very clean and comfortable. Nice patio on the side and with a bar included inside the lobby. Break fast is a plus delicious mini Quiche. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is that the break fast is the same for all days. Some variety will be the cherry on top of the cake. Definitely will come back and will recommend this hotel. Price was reasonable.

My family and I stayed here and we had such a great stay. Everyone was so kind. We checked in very late at night (due to an emergency circumstance) and the employees at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The room was so clean and looked brand-new. Our family enjoyed their breakfast and the indoor pool. It was a very family-friendly atmosphere. Sometimes during hotel stays we hear a lot of noise at night, but not at this location. It was peaceful and quiet, and felt very safe. The location is also excellent! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice clean Hotel, they serve a continental breakfast from 6:30 am to 9 am but the most amazing perk is that you get free admission to the Life Time Gym down the street for as long as your stay in the hotel. 👍 👌 they Hotel has its little gym also....but go check out the Life Time gym, it's huge!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. Their gym is quite nice and so is their inside pool. The breakfast was good and standard. The hotel is close to nice restaurants, fast food restaurants, a mall and a Target.
