Most powerful godess blessing the people of Karnataka and tamilnadu sinces ages!! The temple has recently become prominent outside its surrounding vicinity. The village and fort get their name from the presiding deity of the site. It is known as the only major Hindu temple for around 28 villages in this area, so it has locally always been a very important spiritual site. People visit this temple for vehicle Pooja and remove evil eye. The Kabbalu village, where this temple is situated, is also home to the Kabbalu fort, built on a large rock that is around 250 metres high. Kabbalu Fort or Kabbalu Durga as it is known locally is a great destination for treks and nature photography. Mujaraayee dept should prioritise temple's surrounding construction ASAP, it's been so many years since construction started but still not completed. And mainly the surrounding is not at all clean. Those Pooja items sellers behave like Avenue/sp road vendors they grab you like anything that's so irritating.

One of the finest temples to visit and take blessings from Amma Kabbalamma, the temple premises were renovated a few years back and they have a nice car parking 30rs charged to park under the sun, don't leave your pets inside during your visit. If you are visiting during weekends you have a good amount of waiting time, the free line will end up waiting for more than 2 hours. Pay 100rs per head and you will be entered in a special line which takes you 45 minutes to get inside the temple. Once you are inside you are pushed from each angle and ensure your body is flexible in all the angles. Photos are taken inside the temple although the photo-taking is prohibited. If any VIPs enter the temple the common man has to wait under the sun and the VIPs will be taken inside the garbagudi. Which I don't like.

Such a Devine experience. Feel as if you see the real mother goddess. Everyday crowded especially on amavasye and pournami , Fridays Sundays and Tuesdays. In the noon the crowd is comparatively less than morning. A must visit to have the blessings of the Maa. You can't blame the management for pushing the crowd that fast because if they don't then the rest of the people waiting under the sun must be standing and waiting. It's their duty to push as soon as possible and help all to have the glimpse of mother at earliest.

The goddess looks very good. Strong vibration felt in the temple. Construction work is in progress. This is the correct and actual Kabballamma temple. There are three or more Google markings for the same place. This is the original temple. Make sure to check reviews.

Very nice temple, goddess murthy just stunning can't blink our eyes while seeing god. But management has to take care of outside shop keepers they will not allow people to go inside that much shouting. It will create some disturbance to visitors.

Very good drive grill Bangalore to kabalmma. The temple itself is very good . Parking is a hassle and watch out for unnecessary business people who try to fish out money.

Under construction but asusual Mujaraye department need only income. They are not yet decided to improve the basic infrastructure needed. They are busy in making administration office like Mini Vidhanasoudha instead of basic facilities to public.

  • 1/5 RAJESH G. 1 year ago on Google
There is no basic facilities to devoties, there is no clean, maintenance, descipline, rules only for poor devotees , if you have money you can see God other wise you want to wait hours , There is no vehicle parking.
