Amazing temple located in hills and forest. There are two two main temples at Ahobhilam one is Upper and other one is lower one. This one is Upper Ahobhilam which about 8KM far from lower temple, but one must visit this place. We would travel through a dense forest to reach place, but it's a fantastic experience, journey is pleasant and scenic and roads are good. We find few water falls, scenic hills throughout the journey, there is a small waterfall at the entrance of the temple, where people take dip in the water before entering the temple. There is no entry ticket for this temple and cameras are not allowed. There are few other temples on the hills, we can reach them by trecking.

Temple is excellent and the way it was built is marvellous. But the maintenance is worst. Government, endowment board and forest department should make this place clean and tide.

Good and old temple of lakshmi narasimma swamy. There are two places called upper Ahobilam and lower Ahobilam. 5 temples are in upper Ahobilam and four temples in lower Ahobilam. Frequent Public conveyances like buses or autos are not available. It is difficult to visit without private vehicle. The closing time is 5pm. Some buses are plying from allagadda.

There are 5 Narasimhar temples in this mountain. The walk uphill along the Bhavanasini river can be hard but worth for the view. It takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to view all the temples.

Hi Everyone. We visited this temple on the weekend There was no rush. The temple was on the upper Ahobila 20 min journey from lower Ahobilam.Need to experience once a time atleast the nature was outstanding. A moderate level trek. Kindly know the timings before you reach the temples all the temple here opens as 9 Am and closes at 4 Pm . Without knowing this we wasted so much time you need to be very quick to cover all temples .my suggestion was start to upper Ahobila first there it takes atleast 1 hr to trek to take darshn from God. They are 9 temples that need to be covered. If you are interested to see the Pillar Were lord came out you need to trek at least 90 minutes from upper Ahobilam.Climbing is some what easier than getting down . Kindly watch your steps and get down hill was so steep.

When we visited this place for the first time, we didn't have time to visit the temple because of the heavy rain and it was almost closing time. But this time we actually planned properly to cover some temples so did trekking for 2 and half hours to reach Jwala Narasimha Swami, I would say one of the most beautiful treks we ever experienced, on the way the views are breathtaking and worth visiting at least once. If you are planning a Trek try to start before 12 PM, so that you can cover 3 temples Jwala narasimha, Malola narasimha Swami, Varaha Narasimha Swami and in the starting main temple. It was on a weekday and the crowd was normal, the maintenance should be improved a lot. To enter the temple the car parking charges are 150 and I feel it to be more commercial and experience. There are a total of 7 to 8 Narasimha Swami temples to cover which will take 2 days but we covered only half of it because of the time constraints. One of the unexplored temples I felt but after visiting we had such a good experience. I would recommend youth to try to visit.
