Another cafe in the burgeoning cafe scene in South Kolkata, especially Jodhpur Park, there is a lot to like about this place. Located on the first floor of a house, the best part of this place is the calmness/quietness of the place. The decor is cute without being kitschy. The place is not huge, but great for spending a few hours working on your laptop. The food is pretty good. So is the coffee. Not craft, but good well made machine coffee. Had the latte with hazelnut syrup. The chicken sub was good as well. Service was super polite and helpful. Reasonable as well. Recommended!

I have been having their food since I joined my office few years back. The look and feel of the restaurant is very cosy and will prompt you to just relax and enjoy your food. The food here is very economical and delicious. The chicken bbq pizza and the fish and chips are my favourite. Although I would appreciate if they replace these chips with French fries. Good luck!

The ambience is great and so is the food. If you are searching for a budget friendly cafe where you can get the peace you require for working on something or talking to your friends without the extreme loud music and hustling environment. Then this is the best place to go. Its lovely for mental peace and is pocket friendly which is suited for people belonging to all age groups. I absolutely loved the atmosphere as I was tired of going to loud and busy cafes. Also the food is exquisite and the serving time is quite great. The owner is also quite friendly and will take your views on the food. Overall its a great experience!

I would feel honoured to recommend it as one of the best cafes in town. Absolutely loved the experience. A peaceful place, with light music and food made with care and love. Tried their Hazelnut and Irish Cream Coffee and immediately fell in love with the flavours. Next we had the Fish n Chips which left me drooling over it in my mind thereafter. The owner was a gentleman helping us choose our coffee. Great place to peace out, work, read, lengthy talks that too at a pocket friendly price.

I am completely in love with this cafe. One of the best cafes serving thin crust pizzas. I, personally am not a thin crust pizza lover but this place never fails to amaze me. Also, the behaviour of the owner and the staffs are very polite. In frame : • Latte. • Cappuccino. • Irish Frappe. • Chicken Sub. • Chicken Barbeque Pizza. • Chicken Seekh Pizza. • Chocolate Sundae. All the items were equally lip-smacking.

Pricing is reasonable alongwith the soothing ambience. Food options are plenty starting with coffee frappe & coolers as beverage. Pasta, pizza and lots of options of sandwiches and subs. Mr Subhrajit Dey was very kind and recommended the worth trying food items from the menu list. Ordered Chicken barbeque sandwich & fish sub. For beverages we ordered kiwi mint and pineapple coolers.

This small and cozy cafe is just at 10 mins walking distance from South city mall. The ambience is really great and it has a sitting arrangement for 20 to 25 people. The staffs are really polite and the service was fast. The foods were really delicious and pocket friendly. Must try the Chicken mixed sauce pasta and the cold chocolate.

Some staff member behaved me badly with me,which offended me. Quite an unbelievable cafe which has just the right homely vibe. It's not a very big place and that adds to its charm. The aesthetic artwork, the view of Jodhpur Park township, the soft lighting, the food and the behaviour of the staff all add to the essence of this dainty cafe. Be it hanging out with friends, a date or just finding a place other than your home office to work, you just can't go wrong with Brewbakes. Fish n chips is heaven-sent. Peach iced tea is the drink of the Gods (I am a sweet tooth). Parking is a hassle though. Spots for two wheelers can be managed but if you are coming in a car, it's safer to park it in South City's parking and walk the short distance to amp up your appetite.

My best friend and I went out for new experiences on a Saturday. We decided to visit Brewbakes café in Jodhpur Park. We loved the ambience and decor. The hand-drawn art on the walls and the cozy atmosphere of the small café are its forte. Sadly I cannot say the same about food. The menu appears to be reasonably priced in a glance. But when we tasted the cheese balls, they appeared meh. The drinks were sugary. The host was friendly initially but unhelpful when we asked for clarification regarding certain items in the menu. When the fish and chips arrived, our real problem started. I am somewhat of a fish and chips connoisseur in Kolkata yet this is the first time I saw deep fried fish fillet accompanied by packaged potato crisps instead of french fries. When we bit into the fish, there was a terrible smell. We called the host immediately who denied everything. He talked to the chef privately and came back to us saying that the smell was because the fish had been marinated with vinegar! When we insisted that he taste and that we would pay for it if he could eat it, he declined and hurried away. He refused to acknowledge that his supplier might have messed up this one time. Even though he did not charge for the spoilt dish, his demeanor became cold and it soured our entire experience. If you visit this place, I wish you better luck than we had.

It's a cozy comfy place with soothing vibes and very polite staffs, the foods are scrumptious and enjoyable. In addition to that, the owner gives a warm welcome and interacts open heartedly with every customer which is the cherry on top. Best wishes for their future ventures.

Perhaps my most favourite and frequented cafe in all of South Kolkata, primarily because of the very cosy ambience, lovely spread of food and beverages to choose from and an accommodating owner who ensures to look after each table with utmost care. I am a fan of their coffees, especially the mocha and you can never go wrong with their pizzas. You'll know why you'll keep coming back once you set your foot in the cafe!

I didn't know there was such a cozy comforting cafe in my neighborhood. The food was super good, do try the fish and chips, at that price I feel like it's worth the buck. The owner/manager was really sweet and benevolent. And I really do dig the tender aesthetic along with the Bamboo chairs and soft jazz/bossa nova playing in the background. I guess I found my new spot.

Brewbakes has become our new favourite hangout place in the weekends. It's a quaint cafe in Jodhpur Park with with a laid-back vibe and a cool, windy atmosphere. Great for conversations over a cup of coffee. The owner is very warm and welcoming as well. Definitely recommended!

Service and behaviour is very good reasonable. Prices are reasonable not costly. Very well situated just near to the jodhpur park boys high school.
