This is very nice, clean, spacious and relaxing coffee cafe. The customer service was very friendly and very healthy when going over all the available options. There are several seating arrangement from which to choose. I had the Light Skin Keisha with oat milk and a danish. Both were fresh and very delicious. I gave a 4 star rating only because the coffee wasn’t really hot. However, I plan to give them another chance to fix the issue. I still recommend Black Coffee Atlanta.

They light skin Keisha coffee latte is delicious a perfect blend of GOOD Quality coffee, lavender and vanilla. I was pleasantly surprised by a nurturing cup of coffee which was everything because my coffee days are a extra special treat for me since I mostly have to do tea. I had the pleasure of meeting both owners when I pulled up to the shop after they had closed. And all I can say is “impeccable customer service”. Sometimes we don’t realize how far a kind gesture can go. I want to thank Black Coffee Atlanta for their welcoming kind actions toward me and a delicious coffee. One of the owners Erin invited me in for coffee after we talked a while in the parking lot and I’d been looking for their shop. I am so grateful my friend Duanne told me about this place! I pray for their continued success and success creating community 🙏🏾💜

One of my favorite places to go to! I love the sense of community and togetherness. The service alone is great and the atmosphere is always positive. Try out the lavender simple syrup! It’s the best in any drink. Also the avocado toast for sure. I’m so very proud of this company and what it stands for! Keep doing what you’re doing guys 👍🏽🖤

Quite honestly, I was very disappointed when I arrived here. I am an avid coffee drinker and so when I saw this with, the good ratings, I decided to go pay it a visit to support local and black owned business. However when I arrived, their selection of coffee was limited to only drip coffee which is crazy for a coffee shop!!! I get it, not everyone considers craft coffee as proper coffee because the best is fresh drip but people have preferences and so you should be able to tailor your selection to match other people's tastes. I don't know how they make their money or why they have so many reviews but they must be doing something right other than coffee. Is it just the merchandise and the atmosphere and the seating that people rate? because the coffee itself was THE MOST EXPENSIVE COFFEE EVER!!! I simply got a drip coffee with oat milk and lavender flavor that cost me $7.50! And then when I asked them why they didn't have lattes or cappuccino they told me they didn't have a foamer or the capabilities to make it. How do you advertise yourself as a coffee shop when you can't make anything other than drip coffee?!! The only positive thing I'll say here is that the coffee that I did get was really good, very delicious, and very rich, but that's about as far as any positive comments for me will be. Again I'd like to support small black owned businesses but for this one, they'd have to do a lot more in the coming months to be something that I would recommend to somebody else.

Such a cute spot! The coffee, tea and food are great here! I had the Andre tea and Avocado toast and it was seriously amazing. Very happy and positive people. PLUS they support the community by inviting vendors over. Great way to have an amazing time, enjoy some coffee and snacks, and support the community as well!

First thing first round of applause to this Black Owned Business!!! 🤎 AND in the heart of ATLANTA!! You just can’t beat that ! Everyone was amazingly friendly and the vibes were just so welcoming and peaceful ! We arrived mid Kemetic Yoga time so lets just say they know what’s right ! Ordering was a breeze and they were knowledgeable about their beans ☺️ -I ordered 2 Pour Overs of their Peruvian one with this beautiful lavender infusion (God Bless lol) and the other Caramel. All I will say is…YALL Go pull up please ! That coffee was Goood !! So fresh so loved so BLACK They not only provide zen vibes they have apparel & host a yoga class there as well, all the while making sure they support their community. Hands down top of my list ! Bravo !!

I’ve been to black coffee 3 times so far and I’ve loved it each time ! The music is immediately a vibe. It sets my morning off just right. My first time coming I had the “Andre”. It’s a CA Gold Tea with Honey and Lavender. It lived up to its name… THE GOAT. The Bagel & Boujee paired with the salmon and fried egg had my day on the BEST foot. Second time coming I had the Auntie and let me tell you I was as carefree as one ! I stopped by this morning and was greeted by the owners and staff with a warm welcome back. I was introduced to the Young Cheesy with egg and it was perfection ! I’m here as we speak about to order a Morning Joi and I’m sure it won’t disappoint ! Please stop by and experience this vibe of a coffee shop !

I’m so excited that I ran across this place. The employees were so nice, our lattes were excellent and they had plenty of seating inside. Also, love the touch of Atlanta and the clever names for everything like “gas” for espresso, “bagel and boujee,” and “light skin Keisha.” Will definitely be back, and highly recommend.

So I decided to work remotely on today but instead of working from home…I wanted to check this place out. It has a nice vibe and ambience! I enjoyed the music they played. It’s enough for you to sing along to but not disturbing where you’re not able to get your work done. I tried the “Young Cheesy” (Grill Cheese); it was good. Next time, I will actually have coffee and invite a friend for some good conversation. 💛

Quaint coffee shop in the heart of Lakewood Heights. Ample space to lounge and sip their superb coffee and tea selection. Complete with a Community Vendor Corner, you can shop and sip with delight. My husband had the Golden Latte and I had the Lavender Latte with honey drizzle... they were both divine! Black owned and operated with excellence!

Not sure where to begin with this review. While visiting Atlanta, we were hyped to check out this black owned coffee shop. We arrived Saturday morning, the shop and atmosphere was very relaxing and appealing. There was only 1 barista and a younger gentleman helping. We waited 45 minutes for 4 coffees and a a bear claw. Although the barista was very nice and thanked us for our patience, it made for a not so great first experience. If visit I suggest not to be in rush and enjoy the atmosphere.

Loved the location and space. The Oatmilk chai was made with love and all fresh ingredients, the autumn fog is made really well as well. They had some vendors there selling body scrubs and things. A lot of cute purchase items. Get there early or you won’t have a seat.

First, I don't drink coffee. No problem. They had good hot chocolate. I was just there for the experience and seeing friends. Black Coffee Atlanta has a great staff that's friendly and engaged. They truly love and respect their customers. The place is clean and has nice little seating areas all around and spot where they had guest speakers and such. Great place that's more than just coffee.

Stumbled on this place and it was amazing!!!! The avocado toast with smoked salmon and fried egg truly blew me away. I also got the Brown Skin Girl and was truly surprised how good it was. I enjoy sweet coffee and this was perfect. The atmosphere was so welcoming and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

I tried the Morning Joi drink and the Atl all in toast and it was the most flavorful, delightful breakfast I’ve had in a long while!! 10/10 service, vibe, music, & food!

First and foremost, the staff is very friendly, informative, interactive, polite and professional. The service alone is reason to come time and time again. The atmosphere is also calming and relaxing with comfortable seating and smooth R&B music playing through the shop. I had the delight of enjoying the lavender cold brew espresso. It wasn't overtly sweet or over powering with the flavor of the espresso. It had a nice ice ratio, not watering down the taste as I sat to enjoy it. The pastries, while store bought, were still fresh and tasty and not stale or generic tasting. My only complaint is that they do not have an in depth menu with all the flavoring options available to view. Otherwise, this store is a gem here in Lakewood, and I will definitely come again.

Visited some time ago, but had such a memorable experience, I have to leave a review! I loved my iced lavender latte (so flavorful) and the flower pop up. Had a lovely arrangement made by Ayron. The experience brightened my day and I cannot wait to go back the next time I’m in the area.

This is it! Black Coffee is the place to be because you receive great customer service as soon you walk-in the door. The vibe is genuine because of mood and flow of the inside due to staff, interior decoration, and music. You have the ability to relax and connect to WIFi while sipping your favorite coffee. Black Coffee also have vendors events there along with YOGA Sundays. You can purchase wear gears and coffee mugs ETC. The staff listen very well and confirm your orders, I strongly believe this is only the beginning and look forward to expansions. Parking is super easy and it’s very free lol, I believe people should give it chance regardless of what you drink or eat because the service alone is worth the visit. This is my official coffee spot moving forward, the quality of the coffee is amazing it’s not over brew at all you will see for yourself.

My first time visiting but wanted to go and support and visit while meeting up with friends for a business meeting. Evelyn was really nice and made nice suggestions for the salmon avocado toast and the coffee drink called Light Skinned Keisha. I really enjoyed the ambience and mood. Even enjoyed the nice music selection that was a bonus.

My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta. It’s home away from home with such friendly people/ staff. The music is always nostalgic and turned to a comfortable volume level; even if I decide to put my AirPods in a jam to my own music the music isn’t over powering. The atmosphere brings me back every time and the coffee is always delicious.

I stumbled across this eclectic place through my Cousin Kizzie Crawford who was having a book signing there. The atmosphere is infectious with a neo soul kinda vibe. I had the "Brown Skin Girl" cold with almond milk and it was absurd delicious. Please come and try them out. 🤎

The BEST coffee! I got the love below and every time I come it’s sooo good. I would also recommend the grilled cheese.. so yummy! Fast and friendly service with plenty of free parking and plenty of seating options inside to get some work done. Very chill and peaceful environment. Highly recommend.

Patient & kind customer service a definite PLUS! Black owned, clean & friendly. Stopped in after visiting Love at 1st Bite and it was such a great rebound ! I ordered a HOT Light Skin Keisha (Latte + Honey + Lavender + Vanilla), an iced Brown Skin Keisha (Macchiato + Caramel + Cinnamon Brown Sugar). Light skin Keish was my favorite between the 2. I also bought fresh coffee beans Guatemala & Ethiopian beans which tasted great!!!

Great food and service today! I will definitely be back. I had delicious avocado toast and one of THE best caramel macchiatos (w/ oat milk) that I've ever tasted. I also had to get a mug before I left. The merch was on point.

I had wanted to try them for a while, so I finally stopped in. Got the Light Skin Keisha & the Brown Skin Girl specialty coffees. They were both very sweet with their syrups, but the coffee had great flavor. Also, the staff is so nice, and gave great service. A good chill place if you need to get some work done as well. In addition, they had some nice looking merch you can purchase. Would recommend.

It was a little drive to get out to Black Coffee, but it was worth it! The food selection wasn’t amazing, but the food itself was tasty. The latte they made for me was really good too. I told them I liked lattes on the sweet side, and they offered to make a cheesecake latte. It was as good as it sounds. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Lovely experience!! The space is full and great for working The light skin Keisha is a perfect blend without it being too sweet. The lavender definitely sets it off. The Love Below is a 12/10!! Best caramel macchiato I’ve had!!

So excited for the brick and mortar to have opened up. These folks are absolutely wonderful, and the shop is so welcoming. Highly recommend the whole bean coffee, and be sure to check out the building's history and new renovation while you're there - lots of historical preservation and community building!
