Should be zero stars. Just awful experience all around. Front desk person kept asking me for identification info - like name and birthday. When she asked me a third time within 20 seconds, I said "you just asked me that". One would think that it's part of their job - they ask for this info to search for you in the computer - they should remember what you say. Maybe she was new and not used to remembering what I just said. I wasn't terribly upset, but it was kind of annoying - I just gave you that info! I think anyone would have a similar reaction. But what happened next was unbelievable - she let out the most audible, long winded, exasperated exhale - you know, the one - it says "it's just SO DIFFICULT to continue dealing with you (me) - I don't get paid enough for THIS C^*P from YOU (me)!" I was stunned. Really? You're gonna be that unprofessional with a patient, on top of not being able to do your job? Are you kidding me??! Just plain rude. But wait, it gets better - while I'm waiting to see the lab person, she somehow chats with the lab, apparently telling her that I'm a "problem" and being difficult. Yes, she did that. So I get called to the lab, and the lab person spends the entire time telling me how I was causing trouble and how they have to ask those questions in order to find me in the computer. And when I said I was asked multiple times, she tried to explain it away by saying sometimes their eyes play tricks on them. What? What's that got to do with the front desk person not listening to my answer to her question? Because she was so interested in chastising me for being so :difficult", she never verified my name on the vial label, and never gave me instructions after the draw. Also unprofessional. Bottom line - I don't need to be treated like that. Incapable, unprofessional, and rude. I will never go back.

Dr. Jones and the staff at Driftwood are all so prompt and caring. It's like that old time doctor visit. Dr. Jones is very detailed and runs through my whole history during my appointment. I don't feel like a number. She talks to you. Love her and Driftwood staff.

Went to see NP Karen which was a bad idea. I inform the NP about my health issues I was experiencing, and she just had recommendations but came up with no plan of action. This is not the first time I have seen an NP and got no results. It just teaches me a lesson to go to the ER when my PCP does not have any available appointments. When I go to the doctor it's because I'm not well and Ochsner seems to be one of the worst places I'm starting to despise. It's situation like what I experience that further confirms health care is a business no one really cares about their patients. It's all about the money, so sad!

Love the care and patience of the staff here. Dr.Mesa hands down is one of the best Rheumatologist I’ve seen by far & let me tell you I’ve seen a Plethora of Rheumatologist. Aisha,Jada,Deion& the front desk Patient Access Rep. continue doing what you’re doing,more Healthcare Staff like y’all are needed.

My experience at Ochsner Driftwood was a very good experience. The receptionist was pleasant and professional. The nurse who initially did my screening was thorough and easy to work with. I had less anxiety before seeing My physician, Dr.Hill. Dr. Hill was exceptional. He was very engaging . Medical concerns and treatment options were discussed and explained clearly and concisely. My experience was a Great experience with these care professionals!

I am so impressed by the way Ochsner shares information with other providers throught the electronic medical records. Everyone I see across the continuum has full access to everything. With other providers I felt I spent my entire visit reminding the provider of my past medical history. Now, with every provider I have seen to date, I spend more time talking about what is currently going on with my health. It really reinforces my trust in this health system.

It is always a pleasure to visit any Ochsner clinic, everyone is courteous and respectful. They make you feel cared for.

The lady taking my temperature was one of the most delightful people I've met in a long time. The nurse who assisted me first was friendly and personable. And, of course, I adore Dr. Hill. He spends a good amount of time with me asking questions and making notes.

Wish I could put NOT A STAR! Scheduled on portal for Saturday lab appointment and indicated I would be bringing in paper order. Here is the day I drive in severe inclement weather arrive early and the representative inquired about who placed my orders. I informed her I brought my paper orders as it was indicated on the appointment when I scheduled. She stated “oh we don’t do that, it’s a Saturday and we are only here a half day and we don’t have time for that”! Then asked why I didn’t go closer to my home …well because they aren’t open on Saturday DUHH! Driftwood was the closet open on a Saturday. I’m sure service is better on the Northshore the Southshore seems to operate on their Kindergarten Diploma!
